Avoid this company

Avoid this company. You'll get into the contract trap, no chance to cancel it even I was offering the whole outstanding balance to pay up-front. Customer service is awful.

Unexpected charges / Poor customer support

I am utterly frustrated with this service provider. They suddenly started charging unexpected charges and I had to send several calls of 1+ hrs so I can get the refunds they promised they would do.
I am not trying to cancel all my contracts and its proving to be extremely frustrating and difficult again.

No better then thieves

No better then thieves
No better then thieves. They have been charging me for "PHP7.1 Extended Support" for the last year. I never requested to be signed up to this. They did it without my authorisation, after 40min on the phone I have been told that all the supervisors are in a meeting and are not available. I will be moving all my domains and hosting away from their platform as quick as possible and will be contacting my bank to initiate a chargeback.

APPALLING TREATMENT

Wanted a new password to access emails via our 1and1 domain name. Explained it was for a laptop I am not familiar with and that I am no techie but good at following instructions. The person I was speaking to was perfectly pleasant but the line was not good and sometimes I could not understand his accent. In the main he did not seem to know what I was looking at on their own website and was not clear about what I should be doing although following his instructions. I have no idea exactly what has been done but TWO HOURS later the job was far from complete as the Control Centre password was changed which has affected my iPad (I can't send or receive emails). The emails on the laptop were delivered but via 1and1's own website and in a format I had never seen before. Towards
the end of this he disappeared for quite a considerable time and I thought he had disconnected. He seemed surprised when I said I wanted/needed to access emails directly from my desktop just as I had always done. In addition I wanted access to emails restored on my iPad. He said he needed to check something and would call me back but was insistent
when I said I would prefer to stay on the line and get the problem sorted.
He assured me he would call me back in a few minutes. The call started at about 15.45 and ended at 17.50. I have kept my line open for his call until 21.30; have then called them but after hanging on for 20 minutes the call was cut off! To say I am really annoyed about this is an understatemen! I have had this domain name for a number of years but have never had a
problem. This is the worst helpline I have experienced. The person
concerned did not give me confidence that he knew what he was doing. I am concerned that he has my new password for the Control Centre and I think the link he sent me would have given him access to my laptop (am not totally sure but that is what it looks like.)

I asked his name which he said was Jireh.

It is a disgrace that I have been left with no access to my iPad emails and only receiving emails via a complicated route on the laptop. The new password only works in a limited way on the 1and1 website.

All in all I have been left in a real mess. I have written this off the cuff and make no apologies for its' length,
