So disappointed, this site used to be brilliant but over a period of some months I’ve had to send three emails to their customer service due to non payment. Twice they wrote saying it was basically a... See more

Good alternative to meta and tiktok
Good alternative to meta and tiktok. Good videos, everyone is nice and get paid to watch ads rather than be bombarded with them
Still no payment
Again We are 8 fail to pay out earnings. They fail to reply to messages on every platform. Do not trust them to pay you they will not despite what they advertise. I suspect the charities don't get paid as well. Non transparent and untrustworthy organisation. Now it looks like employees are writing positive reviews to boost their ratings. Trust me when I say that you will not get payment from them.
They worst Market research Company of 2026
They now owe me for Two payments have even emailed there CEO Zoe Kalar twice now and no response .From all the reviews there not paying anyone out at all ,in fact have become a bunch of con artists asking us all to watch the videos answer questions and not rewarding any of us .There disgusting and certainly cant be trusted .The worst Market research company out there ..........
Social media with great energy
Wonderful application. First social media app filled with positivity and purpose!
Going there to get my daily charge of good energy
What WeAre8 has done and what thye are…
What WeAre8 has done and what thye are doing is revolutionary. Building a platform and ecosystem where people feel safe and feel valued for their time is quite unique. There are many things that are brilliant within the app and the payment feature has worked really well for me. They havent been delayed and it has been smooth.
The content on the app is good and entertaining and the community is super cozy. Very happy to be on Weare8
A social platform that actually gives back
I've been genuinely impressed with WeAre8. It's a well-designed, user-friendly app that stands apart from traditional social media by sharing revenue with its users and supporting charitable causes. Payouts always come in after a while. The hate-free community and algorithm-free feeds make it a much more enjoyable experience. Well worth downloading.
Over a month to get paid
You watched the video contents and you earn a couple of pence for watching it then answering questions when you go to get your money out on PayPal it takes more than a month to get your money. This is not very good.
No payout since October last year...it…
No payout since October last year...it is now March.
No communication either.
I'm removing the app as they owe me about £100 now.
It’s a scam they won’t pay out as they…
It’s a scam they won’t pay out as they appear to have cash flow issues, but they are still advertising like everything is fine, please avoid using this app as there is no money to gain from it
They've stopped paying out! They owe me money!
They've stopped paying out. They still owe me money from last year! I tried customer service but slow to reply and were not helpful when they eventually did. I requested PayPal payment months ago and still no money from them.
don't expect any payments
Same story as everyone else.Been waiting for 3 seperate payments which have not arrived.Customer service do not reply to emails.
complete scammers
Same story as everyone else
Same story as everyone else. Initially app was pretty good at providing videos to watch and payments were always made within the month. Quite obvious that they've run out of money for payments but are unwilling to admit it! If it was a genuine business the administrators would be in and we'd be getting 5p in the £1 for our payouts! Don't bother watching any videos (if there are any) as you will not get paid for your efforts
Not paid since August 2025
I've been waiting for payments since AUGUST 2025! I also sent 4 separate queries over their contact form and haven't heard anything
It's ridiculous considering I spent so long waiting. Very disappointing too.
Scam company that doesn’t pay out
Scam company that doesn’t pay out, I’ve had funds outstanding for over eight months, I am absolutely surprised when someone gives this app company good reviews, I’m sure that is not an honest review and more of an inside job, its so obvious.
Looking like the earnings will never materialise …..
I’m sure that I must have been one of the earliest subscribers to WeAre8 and initially thought that this was a great idea.
Having been with EE as my mobile provider back then it was great to both earn a little money by watching videos and at the same time support charities.
There we promise’s of watching 8 videos a day and in turn earning and helping more.
Things haven’t actually happened that way though.
The number of videos available have never reached the talked about levels and the amount of money earned per video view has over time dropped and dropped.
At the same time the platform has expanded its coverage to Australia I note.
Now I have requested a payout of the funds in my account, only around £40 but the 5 working day promised turnaround has come and gone.
I have emailed customer support and received a response saying that the volume of requests has led to delays in payments.
Notably there was no indication of when my funds would actually be paid.
Simply, this is worrying and sad at the same time to me.
What started as a new and different App is now looking more and more like a doomed experiment to me and thus little hope of actually receiving the money in my WeAre8 account.
Government adverts and they do not pay out
Like many others have said, they do NOT pay out. I cashed out in January and still no PayPal received. I have emailed... no reply.
I wonder if the UK Government are aware they are working with such a company? They are paying WeAre8 to have their information shown to the public, on the understanding we get paid to review it. Yet, they're not paying us.
Rubbish
No payments since October and hardly any ads to watch. I have contacted weare8 numerous times and always get the same reply.
Used to be a great app but now always…
Used to be a great app but now always waiting months to get paid and hardly get any ad. Rubbish app will be deleting once I have my money. Don’t waste your time
Worked great for over a year and now…
Worked great for over a year and now been waiting on a payment since oct 25 (now feb 26)?
Update March they did send an emailed explaining as a small business its hard when they have a delayed payment and payments are being done in batches.
Will see as no sign of my money currently.
