I think their model isn’t working. Long payment delays

Now waiting 8 weeks since a requested payout. Keep being told they are “doing things differently” and that they are experiencing payment delays to be able to pay their users.
Guys, if you are working with brands like HMRC, Cadbury etc but aren’t able to pay your users for their services and money owed, you have more than a little problem.
Very disappointing

Have sent queries regarding pending…

Have sent queries regarding pending payment from Aug ‘25. Finally received reply ‘Rather than send another generic response, I want to be transparent. We’ve been experiencing ongoing delays in payments coming into us, which has had a knock-on effect on some payouts going out. That’s the underlying reason for the delay you’re seeing.
We’re currently in the process of securing additional funding to stabilise this, and payments are being released in batches as funds become available. I’ve added your account to our priority list so that as soon as we’re able to approve the next round of payouts, yours will be included’, yet have seen other posts to say backlog in PayPal payments getting processed, so what correct. Also saw on here someone said their payment from Oct had cleared, yet I’ve been waiting since Aug. Be interesting to know if they have rec’d funds from the advertisers, if they know the ppl watching videos aren’t getting the reward. Weare8 have contract on their site-not adhering to it

Non paying site

Used to be quite good but although they r being paid from the companies they r not forwarding this onto us , been almost two months now with no payment and they don’t answer any emails . Very poor sight to say the least

Don't bother

Really good when they first started loved the fact I could earn and have my earnings taken off my EE bill. When this stopped the payments were sporadic. Id receive payment within a few days the a few weeks I've now been waiting a few months for a payment. They simply say they are experiencing difficulties. They are a bit of a joke now

Scam?

This company no longer pays out for watching ads as described. I have payments “pending” going back in October 2025. Emailed them and they said they are being paid. That was 2 months ago..

Erica promises and Erica delivers ❤️❤️❤️

Just to let everyone know reading this that I have had funds clear into my PayPal account this morning just like Erica promised. Approximately £52 from October 2025 and even though it has taken a little longer I cannot blame Erica or WeAre8. Sometimes in life you are met with technical difficulties that are out of your control and we truly don’t understand what hard work goes on behind the scenes. All I will say is do not lose faith in this app and would like to include that I am getting approximately 10 ads a day. Like I’ve said before in my reviews patience is key and one thing I will take away from this is be kind and be patient, something which I have learnt from Erica herself. I know it can be frustrating but I advise everyone to not lose hope in WeAre8 or Erica as she does her best and more to help everyone. Thank you Erica, you are an amazing human being. ❤️❤️❤️

A sad 😔 member

I have been a member for at least 2 years. I never seemed to have a problem but recently everything has changed. I have been waiting for my payouts for over six months . I have sent several emails with the same response that they are experiencing problems some how I find this to be untrue. I'm sad as I enjoyed the videos but feel that it's all one sided now. Someone help please I'm sure I'm not the only one according to the reviews.

Still no payment from 4 months ago

Still no payment from 4 months ago. Weare8 tell me that they cannot say when I'll be paid, as their expansion to new countries costs a lot obf money. Essentially, they're using our money to finance thier expansion. And the call themselves ethical?
Seven months on, and still no sign of payment.

Honestly one of the few social apps…

Honestly one of the few social apps that actually feels good to use. The vibe is really positive and people are generally supportive instead of negative like on most platforms.

I like that you actually get rewarded for watching ads instead of just being flooded with them all the time. The content is entertaining and the whole idea behind the app feels different in a good way.

A breath of fresh air in a toxic social media world.The future of ethical social media.

5 stars for the mission alone! WeAre8 is the only platform I’ve found that actually gives back to the people and the planet. I love that there are no toxic algorithms and that the focus is on real impact. Earning a little extra pocket money while supporting amazing causes is a genius idea. Highly recommend if you're tired of the "big tech" giants and want to spend your screen time doing something that actually matters.

Got payments pending from 4 months ago

Got payments pending from 4 months ago. Was a great app but clearly they’ve ran out of money and need to shut it down instead of wasting peoples time. Just be honest with people!! It’s a shame but you’re still taking money from business’ for advertisements and not paying it on
