Great experience, took only a week for the shoes to come in. They look just as good as they did in the photo, I’m ready to hoop and play volleyball! Also were prompt in refunded my taxes because my wife and I are tax exempt!

Sharing my experience for transparency: I received shoes with a clear manufacturing defect—a red stain on the white fabric—and a damaged box. Way of Wade’s '24/7' support is non-existent in practice, as responses take days. Even after acknowledging the issue, they are stalling by not providing a return label or confirming whether the resolution will be a refund or replacement. Despite being informed of my strict travel deadline, the company has shown zero urgency, resulting in a frustrating and unresolved experience. This has been a lesson in poor quality control and even worse customer management.

When I first got the shoes, they were performing really well, which is why this has been so disappointing. After only two months of use, they started breaking apart, even though I took good care of them. Before buying, I did a lot of research and was told by many people and websites that the Way of Wade 808 5 Ultra were very good quality and highly durable, which was a major reason I chose them. Because the shoes have not lasted as expected for a product advertised and reviewed as durable, I would like to request a refund or replacement. I am still a kid and I don't have that much money to buy new shoes.

We just ordered our 4th pair of shoes as my two basketball playing boys LOVE them. These are the first shoes that actually hold together for the WHOLE SEASON! To not have to scramble to get a new pair mid-season makes these shoes priceless! We HIGHLY recommend the shoes with SUPER BOOM insoles, as they are extra comfortable and worth the price. We recommend these shoes to everyone we know!

Purchased a pair on 2/28 for our son's AAU season. Shoe delivered on 3/9. By 3/25, after only 8 practices and 1 tournament a separation occurred on the seam between the fabric and body of the shoe about an inch in length. We reached out about the 90-day warranty as we felt this was far too early for the shoe to be failing. After going back and forth with customer service via email, they ultimately concluded it was only a cosmetic issue and "it was determined that the issue does not significantly affect the overall functionality of the shoes." They only offered a very limited partial refund, which we begrudgingly accepted. The disappointing resolution concluded 4/1, and because of only having a couple tournaments left, we were hoping to make it through the season without having to sink money into another pair of shoes, so he continued to use the Wades. Well, on 4/30, after a practice, the separation grew to over 3" in length. At this point the shoes are no longer safe for use as his foot could literally push through the hole. The shoes did not last a whole AAU season, they did not last 60-days, and they are still within the warranty period. We will NOT buy another pair of Way of Wades after this experience. While our son says they are the best performance shoe he has ever had, a company is only as good as its ability to stand behind its product. Way of Wade needs to do better.

I had two encounters with the customer service team, and each time they responded in a timely, professional, and helpful manner—offering solutions. Way of wade. 808 5 ultra oxygen. Shoes are barely 7 months. Used indoors for volleyball and they are falling apart. Sent pictures to way of wade and they offered no support as outside 60 day warranty even though you can see it’s shoddy workmanship that is causing the shoe breakdown. It was our second pair as we buy a pair each season. The fact that the body of the shoe can’t last even a season is terrible. Now I need to buy a shoe to finish provincials and then nationals. I do not recommend way of wade, nor appreciate their lack of support at customer service as well as the poor quality of the shoe.
Updates. Received below message from way of Wade but prev chat with their cx support says there is nothing they can do as it’s outside of 60 days so kinda feels like lip service. They didn’t even comment on the rips. Will send in anyway.
Second update. Although my post says 7 months and way of Wade advised me to email support. Anne of customer service says it’s too far beyond the 60 day and won’t make any exception. Not impressed by the post below if they won’t even look at it, #wasteoftime
