I recently purchased a pair of Way of Wade 808 v2 in size 11, and after extremely minimal use, I experienced a serious fit and construction-related issue that caused immediate physical injury to my foot.

Within approximately 15 minutes of light testing on an indoor basketball court, the shoes created intense pressure directly against the side of my forefoot near the big toe joint. The pressure was severe enough to cause visible irritation, inflammation, and tearing of the skin. These were not minor comfort issues or a simple sizing preference — the structure of the upper material appears to press aggressively into that joint instead of conforming naturally to the foot.

I provided photos documenting the damage and explained the issue in detail to Way of Wade customer support. Despite this, my request for a return or exchange was denied solely because the shoes had been worn briefly for testing. This is extremely disappointing considering the issue only became apparent during minimal use and clearly relates to the product’s fit or construction.

What makes this situation even more concerning is that after contacting customer service about the issue, I was also prevented from leaving a review on the company’s website. Blocking customer feedback after denying assistance feels highly deceptive and raises serious concerns about transparency and customer treatment.

I initially approached this in good faith because I genuinely like the brand and hoped to resolve the issue through an exchange, store credit, or another reasonable accommodation. Instead, I was left with a product that caused physical injury almost immediately and no meaningful effort from the company to address the problem.

This experience has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional.

The Service from Chloe the service manager was Amazing. Polite and friendly and went above and beyond to actually help.

We ordered my son a pair of trainers and realised they wouldn't arrive in time for his trials as coming from China. I contacted Way of Wade to see if I could pay for expedited delivery which the site had said wasn't currently available to the UK and Chloe confirmed this.

Chloe said she would speak with the courier and ask if the could try and get the trainers to the UK.

I never thought they'd arrive in time but greatly appreciated trying to help. I was genuinely in awe to see the trainers land in Sheffield on Wed 17th May on Royal Mail 48hr. I can't thank Chloe enough.

Unfortunately all her care and hard work went to waste through the utter disgrace that is Royal Mail. So far the clowns have sent them from Sheffield to Doncaster (10 miles), to Preston (93 miles) back to Doncaster (93 miles) where they now sit on the day of the trials 3 days after being in Sheffield.

Sheffield to Manchester is 40.

So 72 hrs after the start of Royal Mails 48 hr Promised delivery they've travelled 200 miles to get nowhere, despite me ringing Friday and getting a promise they'd sort it.

The only way Chloe could help more would be to find someone in China to buy Royal Mail and run it efficiently.

They have some of the best basketball shoes to play in and the customer service has been really great!

Hello way of wade support may I ask how much time does it take to deliver it do Europe ?

Way of Wade shoes have been one of the best performance shoes I’ve worn. The traction and cushioning are excellent, especially for indoor courts, and the quality feels premium right out of the box. They’re comfortable, durable, and the designs stand out from most mainstream brands.

Customer service has been excellent when I had to return clothing due to sizing. This was my second pair of WOW 12s and the quality of these shoes are unbelievable. Not buying Nike hoop shoes again anytime soon.
