Three failed assembly appointments

Three failed assembly appointments, then charged to return the bed.

I purchased a bed from Wayfair because an assembly service was offered and bookable through its website. Without that service, I would not have bought the bed.

The Tasker failed to attend on three separate occasions, including after the appointment had been rescheduled. Before the third appointment, I told Wayfair that I would keep the order only if the assembly went ahead and that I would cancel if the Tasker failed to attend again.

After the third no-show, Wayfair acknowledged what had happened but told me to deal with TaskRabbit and then sought to charge me for collecting the bed.

This is not an ordinary change-of-mind return. The return has arisen because the assembly arrangement promoted through Wayfair repeatedly failed. It is extremely disappointing that the customer is expected to bear the cost and inconvenience caused by a service failure outside their control.

I am asking Wayfair to collect the bed without charge, issue a full refund and take responsibility for resolving the matter rather than passing the customer between companies.

Easy to order

Easy to order. Quick delivery.
Paid for chair to be put together with task rabbit who were absolutely dreadful but we got Excellent customer service with Wayfair to sort it out.

Good service bad partnership

The Product is excellent just as it is in the pictures and description matches it delivered on the time but I’ve an issue with the delivery company #Evri they don’t follow Instructions they left two large Boxes outside on the public busy road despite clear instructions on the door. Their negligence is unacceptable. Please next time now who you’re working with

Beware faulty items wayfair would rather you injure yourself than accept a faulty item

Beware faulty items! Wayfair beach their own policy.
Faulty gazebo when being put up for first time collapsed injuring me. Issue with the legs on the gazebo. Contacted wayfair to return their only interest was a photo of it collapsing. Refused to accept that we didn’t take a photo at time as needed to make it safe and deal with injury and asked us to put it back up again to take a photo and risk another injury!! They are refusing to return without a photo. There policy does not state you must supply a photo.
At no point were we asked how severe the injury was or if we were ok ..just ‘we need a photo of the incident/issue! Having to put in dispute with credit card company as refuse to risk another injury just to get a photo!

Late Delivery

I’ve bought lots of things from Wayfair and delivery is always prompt.However this purchase sadly wasn’t.We bought a parasol for the garden as it has been very hot.We choose the one we did as it stated delivery was Friday 10th July.It did not arrive until Monday 13th July.We had purchased it for the weekend as having a family BBQ and needed more shade,alas we didn’t get more shade.Plus no communication to say it was delayed.
That said it hasn’t put me off Wayfair and will definitely order again,this was a one off!

Product quality is cheap

Product quality is cheap. Screws don't fit, parts don't align. It also came damaged, twice. Just go to IKEA, it's cheaper and better quality.

Delivery service was very good

Delivery service was very good, kept telling me where they were up to and when I could expect them. And it was spot on. 2 very nice young men, cheerful and friendly delivered our shed. I can’t review shed as yet it hasn’t been erected so hopefully it’s ok. Box wasn’t damaged. Thankyou Wayfair. Mrs Joan Halcrow.

Great quality products

Great quality products. I’m very happy with the table and chairs. It’s a 4 star review because we had half of a bed frame delivered and have to wait another week for the second part of the package. I’d rather have had to wait for the whole thing.

My son put this together today 💙 did explain to me that some of the mechanisms were bent hence why it had taken so long to put together
But I love ❤️ 😍 it will be a lovely extra for my garden
