I paid extra for a "Refundable Booking" (TXGDDKNP), but Dohop has been stalling my cancellation request for over a week. Their support keeps sending automated replies saying "we can't help directly," which is a total lie since they took my money. They are trying to wait until my flight date passes to steal my funds. This is commercial fraud. I have already contacted the European Consumer Centre (ECC) and will initiate a bank chargeback immediately. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.`

WARNING
WARNING - WAYA's Error Could Cost You A New Ticket. A Total Scam.
I booked a VietJet flight from Melbourne to Hanoi through the WAYA website. During the booking, I carefully entered my full passport details, including my three-word given name.
WAYA's system, due to a technical error, transferred only the first word of my given name to the airline. My VietJet confirmation arrived with an incorrect, unusable name.
When I contacted WAYA's customer service multiple times (both by phone and email), they gave me the same useless response: "The name change must be done by VietJet." I contacted VietJet directly, and they clearly stated they cannot amend names on bookings made by third-party agents—only WAYA, as the booking agent, can request this.
Now I am stuck in a hopeless limbo. WAYA refuses to take responsibility for their own system's error, and the airline cannot help. Because of WAYA's mistake and their refusal to fix it, I will likely be denied boarding and forced to buy a brand new ticket at the last minute.
This is not a simple inconvenience; it's a scam-like practice that puts the customer's money and travel plans at severe risk. WAYA took my payment but failed to provide a valid ticket.
Final message to travellers: Protect yourself. Book directly with the airline. Avoid WAYA at all costs unless you want to gamble with your hard-earned money and travel plans.
Message to WAYA: You did a terrible job. You created this problem through your faulty system and then abandoned your customer. You do not deserve a single star.

ConnectSure has lived up to its promises…
ConnectSure did live up to its promises! as of today all is settled (November 21, 2025)
On September 30, 2025 we (my wife and I) missed our second flight from Athens to Geneva because pour first flight was delayed due to technical reasons.
I bought replacement tickets for the two of us for
(2x214.45) 428.90 euros)
On November 11, 2025 I received 144.18 CHF (150 euros) from DoHop.
I filled out another claim for the same situation for our friend travelling with us and she received the full amount for the replacement ticked for 197.06.
This is in line with the DoHop advertising should there be a delay and necessity to buy a new ticked.
I have this feeling that there is not a standard procedure when ConnecSure enters into play.
I'm still waiting to see what happens next...
OK all is settled to my complete satisfaction...
PS. The "help desk" service is good but the insurance proposed can be a hassle. (see above :-)

The only thing is that I contacted a cancellation insurance in case I wouldn't travel and it was through another agency on the same page,which I didn't know..
But they indicated me how to contact them and I was quickly refounded..
