Website and online account setup is very below industry standards. UI is horrible. Lowest interest rate I could get, but I now fully regret my decision going with this credit union which is concerning because I haven't even made my first payment yet.

I opened an account here two weeks ago and I have no access to my money, my accounts don’t show up online, and customer service doesn’t respond to questions. I received no routing numbers to set up direct deposits or order checks. I think my money is going to be finding a new home once I can get someone to track it down for me.

Hannah Myers is the best loan officer I have ever dealt with. She has always gone to bat for us even after a bankruptcy and has had a 99 percent approval rating for us on everything. Love this bank because of her.

When I opened my account I was not told that there is a 3-5 business day hold on checks deposited for the first month no matter how much is available in the account.

I was helped by the Branch Manager Lori. She was very nice and explained all of the process including any questions regarding the process or how the credit report came back.
It was news to me that having great credit didn't qualify for the best rate unless there was a history of an auto loan on the report, but my wife was able to qualify for the lower rate so it worked out.
The COVID-19 actions taken by the branch were very good and I was helped in a prompt manner to complete the Loan Process in a couple days.

We recently refinanced an auto loan from one institution to Wasatch Peaks. Our other institution never received the payoff and we are currently going back and forth on payoff, late fees and credit reporting, since we are now currently over 30 days late on the previous loan. (and we have made a car payment on this new loan) New check has been issued, but the branch manager seems to have no idea how customer service works. Never have we received an apology AND we are the ones that have had to do ALL the leg work to rectify the situation. When asking the manager about how to fix the credit report?? Her answer "we dont do that here and I dont know what you need me to do since we have overnighted the payoff already" Really?? WOW! I really hope that this level of customer service is not going to be the "new normal". Very upsetting and disappointing.

I am writing this to amend the above review. Although I had been, and continue to be, surprised and diappointed in the lack of professionalism by the branch manager we had dealt with, we have been very pleased and thankful for the 3 amazing professionals at your corporate branch. Jenny W, Heidi D, and Jen H were all very helpful and on top of everything to get this taken care of as quickly as possible. After all the research, phone calls and emails, learned it was not the Credit Union at fault and it was our other institution that had made a complete mess of everything. I am very thankful for all their help and diligence to get to the bottom of it. I have to say, even though this was a disaster that none of us will forget any time soon, they made it much easier. They have earned our trust again. Thanks!

They sent the debit card to the wrong address even after explicitly directing them to send the owners home address. Luckily sent it to me instead and I was able to redirect the card.

I have been with Weber CU and now Wasatch Peaks credit Union for many years and they have done a fine job. However, recently when I wanted to move money through Wasatch Peaks CU, I couldn't do it directly and had to end up using my account in AFCU. I was really disappointed with WPCU.
