For what is a very daunting experience Caroline made purchasing a new build much more relaxed and enjoyable.
We were made to feel welcome from our very first meeting and, through all stages of the purchase, all done in 6 weeks, and we never felt rushed into making decisions were given lots of time to view properties and even given lots of opportunities to view the property we had chosen several times before completion so we could review and take measurements etc.
Caroline was extremely helpful and kept us fully informed throughout the process and made sure we had all the necessary information we needed, and continues to do so, the whole site team is always on hand and approachable, mention also to Curtis and Ryan for their part in helping us through the stages of becoming settled in to our fabulous new home.
I would definitely recommend Wain Homes to others, we have found the building quality of our new house to be very good, and all done to a high specification.

We bought our house seven months ago, whilst we love the house for its design and feel, it has had quite a few significant quality issues that have resulted in reworks, fortunately our Site Manager (Dave Adams) has been fantastic, he has gone up and above to support and get things resolved quickly and cleanly. I would also praise Anita who manages the sales office who was incredibly supportive throughout the buying process and comes highly recommended. I would warn prospective buyers that sales are very much on Wain Homes terms and not the buyers and the company 'head office' can be a bit heavy handed especially to meet their quarter targets. That said Dave and Anita have more than made up for the back-office deficiencies. Living amongst a live building site can be a challenge but the site team are constantly keeping the site clean and tidy, the contractors on site are courteous and respectful and the heavy work is kept to sensible hours. We are looking forward to the development being completed and look forward to many happy years in a great location, with a fantastic new home.

Mike from Wain homes attended my home last Friday to paint my ceiling following a leak but I informed him that I had cancelled him coming as the leak had not been resolved but instead of leaving he called the office and said he would try and find the leak which he did and then he returned today 6th November to complete the painting. He went the extra mile ,he could have walked away but he didn’t, so well done Mike for excellent customer service and for being professional and respectful of my home.

We can’t thank Colin enough for all his guidance and support. He ensured every part of our home was complete to our satisfaction and he has been absolutely lovely throughout the whole process. Thank you so much Colin - we hugely appreciate you!

Extremely poor quality. Plaster boards debonded from the walls. Plasterboard jointing falling off/cracked in every room. Screw pops on ceilings. Exterior doors didnt fit properly. Poorly decorated, drips on walls from painting the ceiling last. It seems like every material in the house was the cheapest they could find. Poor quality workmanship in the bathroom / wc and kitchen. the garden holds so much water its like having a pond. The list goes on and on and we have been waiting for over a year for these issues to be sorted but wain homes keep fobbing us off with poor excuses.

We’ve had a really positive experience buying our new home with Wain Homes at the Mead Fields development. From start to finish, the process has been smooth and straightforward, and we’ve been really impressed with the build quality and attention to detail throughout.

Since moving in, the aftercare and support have been excellent too – any small issues have been dealt with quickly and professionally. A special thank you to Caroline, who has genuinely gone above and beyond to help with anything we’ve needed.

We’d happily recommend Wain Homes to anyone considering a new build. The quality of the homes and the range of features included as standard are far better than what we saw with other developers.

We recently purchased a new home at Mead Fields in Banwell. Overall we are very happy with our new home. We were a little disappointed and bemused with a couple of design issues with the house, those being: No light covering the side door of the house & driveway; the side door being white, although the frame is anthracite as are all the other doors, windows and soffits; the utility built in appliance is just a washing machine, not a washer drier and there is no space for a drier. The onsite team have proven to be fantastic. Caroline in the sales office always above and beyond in helping us through the process. 5 weeks after moving in, she is still there to offer help in any way she can. We were able to produce a snagging list a week before moving in and thanks to Caroline, Curtis and Ryan they were all taken care of before we moved in. Ryan called round after two weeks and went through further snagging, which he is in the process of working through. Considering it is still a building site they endure to keep it as clean and tidy as possible, unlike Taylor Wimpey along the road!

Our experience with Wain Homes has been fantastic from start to finish. The office team kept us well informed throughout every stage of buying our new build, and once the handover was complete, the support from our site manager, Paul, has been top class.

We were the first family to move into The Lawns development in Broughton, and the whole team made sure we settled in comfortably — we felt welcome right away.

Any small issues or snagging have been dealt with quickly and without any hassle, thanks to the great team at Wain Homes, Broughton. We couldn’t be happier with our new home!

Myself and sister have both bought wain homes and have both had great experiences.

Buying our first home with Wain Homes has been nothing short of excellent from start to finish, Viv at Lister Gardens helped us from day one, making sure we understood exactly what we were doing and giving regular updates on the build progress. We moved in in September and couldn't be happier with our new home! The build quality is fantastic and the few snags we have found have been quickly resolved. We were both a little anxious about buying a new build property but after seeing the show home we were both convinced this was the right choice for us, and we are still in shock at how nice of a home we have been able to afford given the prices on the market. Viv went out of her way to give us the best support, always being on hand to answer questions and address any concerns.

We can’t recommend highly enough the team at Wain Homes, Kingsley Manor, Thornton Cleveleys.
We first visited the Kingsley Manor development in November 2024 when we were looking for our new home, this is when we first met Ashley one of the Sales Executives on the development who showed us round the development and helped us pick our new home.
We picked our new home paying our reservation fee.
He couldn’t have been more helpful and kept close to us through the whole purchase process, including selecting our fixtures, fittings, and floor coverings, and no issue being too much trouble for him to sort for us.
Then we met Danny our Site Manager, who like Ashley was extremely helpful and again nothing was to much trouble, they took us through our home demonstration and answered all the questions we had, and resolved any concerns we had.
When our moving in day arrived which March 2025 just before the increase in stamp duty, and once again both Ashley and Danny were both on hand and made what could have been a stressful day a real pleasure.
Our new home was great, and like most new home buyers we paid for a private snagging survey to be completed,
This did highlight a few issues that to be totally honest we would not have spotted ourselves, but I have to be honest and say none of the snagging issues found were major ones.
This was given to the site and we were introduced to Chris who dealt with every issue highlighted in snagging arranging for contractors to visit and resolve and then calling round to check we were happy with the works carried out and the snag had been resolved to our satisfaction.
Over the years we have bought a few new homes and have to say that we found this purchase the easiest by far, this I believe is due to the service from the three people named in this review.
We are delighted with our new home, including the build quality and we look forward to spending many years living in it.

We moved into our brand-new Wain Homes property in Weston-super-Mare on 30th September 2025, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience from start to finish!

From our very first visit to the sales office, Caroline made the entire process smooth, transparent, and genuinely enjoyable. She was always professional, approachable, and incredibly knowledgeable about every detail — nothing was ever too much trouble. Her friendly guidance made what could have been a stressful process feel exciting and easy.

Once the build was complete, Ryan, the site manager, truly went above and beyond to ensure our new home was finished to the highest standard. His attention to detail and pride in his work really shows — any small questions or concerns we had were dealt with quickly and thoroughly. You can tell he genuinely cares about the quality of the homes he delivers and the satisfaction of the people moving into them.

Our new home itself is absolutely beautiful — modern, well-built, and full of thoughtful touches that make it feel special. The finish is excellent, and we’ve already had several compliments from friends and family about the craftsmanship and layout.

Overall, we’re thrilled to be part of this new Wain Homes development and so grateful to both Caroline and Ryan for making the journey such a positive one. If you’re considering buying a new home in Weston-super-Mare, we couldn’t recommend Wain Homes highly enough!

We recently purchased our new home on Shropshire Heights. We can't thank the team at Wain homes enough for our dream home. From the day we made our first enquiry Anita was absolutely great. We received regular updates and any questions we had were answered. From the day we moved in Rob the site manager has been fantastic. Rob was so approachable with any issues that we had and got them resolved. He certainly is a credit to Wain Homes 🏡

We have had a really professional , positive and friendly experience with Wain Homes.
From initially visiting site, to reserving out plot and eventually moving into our new home, it has been an enjoyable journey. At times it was frustrating and stressful, buying a house is, but The Wain Homes Team at Molbrook South Molton were always there from start to finish. Whether it was confirming stages or requiring information there would always be prompt email or phone calls, and response times from the team. From front sales staff to office staff and on site teams any worries, queries or questions were always answered and explained.
A few people we wanted to thank along our journey, Karen, and Gloria in sales office at Molbrook, both patient, professional and friendly, and always able to answer questions. Nick B at Molbrook, for always being willing to sort out any problems or address any questions regarding anything , his commitment is admirable.
Will for all his help before he moved to his new site. Joe and James new site management team, that are working so hard to address any issues and get everything on track. We bought 5 years ago in Preston, the Paddocks.

The shower from the main bathroom has been leaking down into the kitchen for some time but we didn’t know.

A tile had fallen off from the shower wall in the bathroom and lots of black mould has been found behind it.

The tiles have been fitted incorrectly on normal untreated plaster board apposed to Hardiebacker/waterproof plaster board and has caused damage into my son's bedroom next to the bathroom. (The bedroom has smelt of mould for over a year, and we couldn't pin point it, although it is clearly this now-measuring 45% on an electric damp meter through the wall which is very concerning to my sons health).

There is also a massive gap from the plasterboard to the shower tray at the bottom which shouldn't be there (which the tiles just covered over).

We’ve let quite a few snags go, such as underlay to carpets just being sparsely laid in chunks with massive gaps, but the plasterboard/tile issue is really bad workmanship, causing issues to my sons health and damage into other rooms not just the bathroom.

There’s no way to check this when you move in (or within the 2 year warranty) you just have to trust the quality of the builder, which I won’t be doing ever again.

I appreciate there is only a 2 year warranty on the houses, but this poor workmanship wouldn’t come to light until after 2 years.

I requested someone from Wainhomes comes to rectify this issue asap, before it causes more damage to the house and my sons room/ health, for Wainhomes to reply ‘it’s out of warranty’.

I contacted NHBC who said they won’t cover it because it is down to poor workmanship from Wainhomes, which I can’t dispute.

Once again customer service has been great. After speaking with Deb she arranged a visit within days for a repair.
This was carried out by Mike who not only sorted the plaster issue but the shower holder as well.
