I share this review as a truthful and honest reflection of my experience, in the hope it helps other potential buyers make an informed decision.
I was genuinely interested in buying a Thermomix and started researching it online. I quickly realised you have to request a demo on their official website; you can’t just purchase one directly.
What I later learned is that these representatives are actually customers who have opted into a scheme where they earn commissions, reportedly around 10–15% per sale, and can receive a free Thermomix after selling four TM7 within 90 days. This commission-based system likely explains the high-pressure sales tactics I experienced.
When I submitted my details through the demo request form on their website, I did not expect Thermomix to share my name and email with individual customers acting as independent sellers.
This lack of transparency about how my personal information would be used made the whole process feel invasive and unprofessional.
After filling out the demo request form, I was contacted by one such representative. I received three text messages, three phone calls, and an email from the same person over just two days. It felt more like a sales ambush than a helpful interaction, and it put me off straight away. I eventually blocked them on both my phone and email.
I also saw the newly released TM7 listed on the second-hand website Vinted, using the same promotional images and delivery claims as Thermomix’s official site. That listing was later removed and then reposted under a different seller name. This raised questions for me about whether some customer-representatives might be reselling via unofficial channels to meet sales targets.
Even more concerning is that some of these customer-reps have reportedly misled potential buyers to secure a sale. I read reviews where customers were reportedly told no new model was coming despite the TM7 being on the horizon. This kind of behaviour, whether due to desperation or a desire to earn commission, is extremely disappointing and only reinforces how flawed this sales model is.
I’m sure the machine itself works well, and I know many people love it. But the whole buying process from being pressured by a customer-representatitive to the unclear sales channels left a bad impression on me. I decided not to go ahead with the purchase.

Thank you for your reply. I completed the requested form, which you acknowledged receiving. However, the form stated that failure to complete it could result in my review not being recognised as genuine and potentially removed. This felt like undue pressure and raises serious concerns about how customer feedback is managed. I also note that I was required to reveal my name and phone number, which further adds to my concerns about privacy and data handling.
My concerns remain not about the product itself but rather the lack of transparency in your sales model and how my personal data was shared with a customer-representative without my clear consent. I also experienced pressure through multiple unsolicited contacts.
These contacts came via personal mobile numbers and private email addresses, rather than official Thermomix communication channels, which felt unprofessional and raised serious concerns about how my information is handled.
If Thermomix appoints these advisors to represent the brand, it is the company’s responsibility to properly vet, train, and monitor them. Potential customers should not be contacted through personal channels without explicit, informed consent.
I have also read reviews from other customers who were reportedly misled by advisors, for example, being told no new model was coming when the TM7 was already about to launch. Whether due to sales pressure or lack of oversight, this damages the overall customer experience. It concerns me that Thermomix allows customer-reps to act as salespeople without clear oversight to verify their statements or correct misinformation.
I note that your original response has since been edited to reference your Privacy Policy. However, under GDPR, merely linking to a policy is not sufficient. Consent must be explicit and informed, especially when personal data is shared with third-party individuals using private phone numbers and email addresses. This was not clearly disclosed at the time I submitted my details and remains a serious concern.
I sincerely hope Thermomix reviews how it trains and monitors its advisors, as the product deserves a better reputation than its current sales process provides. In 2025, a great product shouldn’t need this kind of sales model to succeed.

Hi. I received my TM7 recently and I am still studying :) In particular, how to make cookido work with Thermomix; Since when you buy it you have a month of trial with Cookidoo and if you subscribe to the subscription you have 3 months, I wanted to know if making the subscription I would have lost the first month so I contacted the customer service and Robert Chapman (which I want to thank for the speed of the reply), assured me that the three months of subscription will start at the end of the first month of trial ... isn't it fantastic? 4 months free of recipes from practically all over the world.

Had to contact company as an upcoming delivery would conflict with when I was out the country. Spoke to Robert in customer service who listened and explained how it could potentially be resolved. Robert spoke to ?dispatch and then rang me back within the hour with the issue resolved. Very happy with how this was resolved.

There was an error in the original generic email that was sent me but he rectified this and out of good will provided me an alternative solution.
I appreciated this kindness and the fast response time of his replies.
I must say, so far, the customer service from Vorwerk has been very satisfying.

My experience with Thermomix....
When I was asigning to become a Thermomix advisor, almost a year ago
I was scared . What is it all about it? Do they really all in the thermomix "cult" cultivating that machine 🤔 ?!?!?!?
I was working in an office 9 till 5 like a robot, no pleasure, no fun, just hours and hours of work, I was just a number easy to replace, one day, I decided to become an advisor and put all my hopes and love of cooking to one place Thermomix Birmingham branch.
From the first day I felt like I finally belong somewhere, that feeling after so many years was incredible, I can't even describe what I felt, every time I was coming back home from our branch meeting I thought I could move the mountain and I am able to do everything I want, how Amazing is that? This is all thanks to one person, Agata Wiosna.
Agata made me feel alive again, reminds me of a younger me who was full of hopes and plans for the future, and simply that girl/woman showed me all that again.
Agata is always truly happy with me, for my little steps , so incredible feeling, these days feeling that is one in a million.
Agata is a "real person", and what do I mean by that Agata is someone with who you can be a "real you",( only few people will understand that, as unfortunately this days we all have to put mask on and just follow the crowd, wheatear we want that or not) but with Agata I can be myself. ❤️❤️❤️

Frankly, I find this outcome atrocious. As a loyal customer, I am extremely disappointed by the complete lack of assistance provided. Despite your statement about valuing your customers, your actions suggest otherwise. Escalating a matter only to offer no resolution whatsoever is not what I would expect from a company that claims to be grateful to its customers.
This experience has unfortunately lost you a customer. Based on how this situation has been handled, I would not recommend your company to anyone.

I signed up to become a Thermomix Advisor with the aim of getting the TM7 in the quickest way possible. I went into the initial training with an open mind but no real intention of starting a business journey. That all changed thanks to Agata Wiosna, Birmingham Branch Manager.
Agata is an incredible asset to Thermomix. Her approach during training was calm, inspiring, and refreshingly authentic. She didn’t try to “sell” the business—she simply let the opportunity speak for itself, while giving each of us the space to explore it in a way that felt natural.
What truly stood out was her leadership. Rather than micromanaging, Agata led with trust, encouragement, and a genuine team spirit. This kind of leadership was incredibly motivating—it made me want to give my best, not out of pressure, but out of respect and inspiration.
If I had been introduced to the role by someone with a traditional sales approach, I likely wouldn’t have pursued it. But Agata’s supportive style helped me realise I could build a business that aligns with my own personality and values.

From the moment Carim (Carim Seaborn,Thermomix Diamond Team Leader) walked in, her energy and passion for Thermomix were contagious. She was incredibly kind, patient, and knowledgeable — guiding us through every feature and recipe with such clarity and excitement.
We found ourselves saying "WOW" over and over again during the demo — it's truly amazing what the Thermomix can do, and Carim made the whole experience even more enjoyable with her warm and friendly approach.
In just one hour, we prepared a full meal: a refreshing berry sorbet, a delicious broccoli salad (and no, not your average lettuce-and-tomato kind!), and a creamy asparagus risotto. Everything was absolutely delicious and perfect to recreate when hosting friends.
What really impressed us was how little mess there was. By the end of the demo, the kitchen was practically spotless — it felt like we'd had a private chef come in and tidy up afterwards!

Ive been using Thermomix for some years now and am a big fan! Recently I noticed a couple of recipes that were quite clearly wrong in a couple of steps in the guided recipes. I emailed to pass this on and was not met with a helpful response - very disappointing. I called and spoke with someone else, but still the recipes appeared unchanged when I checked up on them a few months later. Because I felt like the changes I was suggesting were obvious and would be a help to others, I decided to call again. This time I spoke with Mac, and he heard the points I made and while on the call, was emailing a colleague to have a look. He was proactive and came across like he cared for the reputation of the company overall. Already these recipes have been changed, and that's within only a couple of weeks. All I can say is I hope I speak with Mac if ever I call again!
I used to love my Thermomix. It was a truly versatile kitchen appliance that gave you the freedom to cook the way you wanted—whether following the built-in cookbook, adjusting recipes as you went, or creating your own from scratch. That flexibility was its biggest strength.
Unfortunately, with the latest software update, that flexibility is gone. Now, if the Thermomix detects a weight that differs from the preset amount in a guided recipe, it can actually stop working mid-use. This change is incredibly frustrating and makes the product feel more controlling than helpful. Instead of being a smart kitchen assistant, it’s become rigid and unforgiving.
It’s disappointing to see a product that once empowered home cooks become so restricted. I hope Thermomix reconsiders this decision and brings back the creative freedom that made it so valuable in the first place.
