I ordered two blowers from vortex, but as soon as I’d payed I realised I’d ordered one wrong (Dewalt battery not Makita) I contact their customer service department and got an immediate reply from Diane, she sorted my mistake straight away and made sure I got the two correct units, great service, Diane was very efficient and friendly, a pleasure to deal with thank you.

This thing blows….
Customer service from this company is excellent on top of having a very good product. I was a little skeptical at first because I had bought one of these that was similar, but really did not have a lot of blow power… This one was like double the power of the last one I had. I can literally blow out my garage, porches, my shop… And still have plenty of battery left. I love the fact that I can use my DeWalt batteries with it. I didn’t have to get a special battery or a special charger. Having tried other brands. I can honestly say this one as far as superior, and although it doesn’t make sense to say it… It really blows.

Charles, this is the exact arc we see over and over: tried a similar blower that was weak, came in skeptical, then surprised at how hard this one hits. The fact that you can clear the garage, porches and shop and still have battery left – on packs you already own – is the whole design thesis. I did quite a bit of research when I was looking for a small blower. After looking at several different units I decided to go with Vortexhaus because it seemed like the best choice for me. Indeed I was very happy with the Vortex but had an issue with it after a few uses. I contacted the company and within a few day I received a replacement. I researched Jet Blowers for over a…
I researched Jet Blowers for over a month before I decided that Vortex Haus was probably the best one out there. I contacted their customer service twice and both times I received an answer to my concerns almost immediately. Upon receiving my blower, I was amazed at the small size, exceptional quality and the amount of wind speed it created. It certainly isn't the cheapest Jet Blower out there but it is certainly the best.

Unbelievable product 🔥
Build quality is very good. Super light weight so easy to use with 1 hand.
We use the Vortex Haus to blow dry the motorbikes after washing them. This product makes very easy work of that. The blower produces a huge amount of wind force which is unbelievable from a hand held device. Also very handy for blowing the dust etc out of the Motorhome rather than brushing and risking scratching the floor.

Broke on First Use, Then Made Me Fix It Myself
I was genuinely excited to use my new Vortx Haus blower, but that excitement was short-lived. The unit failed after the very first use — not after months of wear, not after some accident. First. Use.
I immediately contacted customer service and did everything right: reached out promptly, explained the issue in detail, and even provided photos documenting the defect. What did they do with all of that? They shipped me a box of parts and essentially told me to fix it myself.
I'm sorry — I bought a finished product, not a DIY kit. I'm not a repair technician, and I shouldn't have to become one to use something I just purchased. If the unit is defective out of the gate, the solution should be a replacement or a refund, not a parts shipment and a "good luck."
The whole experience screams that the company knows there's a quality control problem and has decided that the customer's time and labor are acceptable substitutes for actually standing behind their product. Zero accountability, zero effort, and complete disregard for the customer's time.
Save yourself the frustration — look elsewhere

Ruben, you’re right to be angry about that experience, and I’m glad you spelled it out this clearly.
If a unit fails on first use, you should not be getting a box of parts and a homework assignment. That’s a miss on our side – both operationally and philosophically. You bought a finished tool, not a kit.
We do sometimes send parts when a customer specifically wants to repair rather than replace, but in a first‑use failure like yours, the default should be a full replacement or refund. That’s on me.
Here’s what I’d like to do:
(1) If you’re willing, email info@vortexhaus.com with the subject line “Trustpilot – Ruben M”.
(2) We’ll either:
- Ship you a complete replacement unit and you can send the broken one to recycling, or
- Take it back and refund you so you’re not stuck with something you don’t trust.
And internally, I’ll be using your review as a training example for when we should not lead with “here are parts” as the solution.
Thank you for holding our feet to the fire on this.
