It's a fairly lengthy tale of poor…
It's a fairly lengthy tale of poor service. What used to be one of the most reliable mobile services has become a shadow of it's former self. I'm not suprised to see they have such a poor rating on recent performance. Perhaps they should concentrate on who their users are rather than who they think they are! For two days nows I have been unable to contact my wife and youngest daughteer in the local area yet can reach a friend in North London. This comes on top of a considerable number of calls cut off during recent weeks, no explanation. What on earth are we paying for???
Vodafone are charging me a whole month…
Vodafone are charging me a whole month line rental for a period where I am no longer a customer. Customer representative told me I should pay a false bill, so I can claim a refund later. Makes absolutely no sense at all. In any other sense, this is theft (demanding money for a service that you will not be providing)
Also, access via the web front end hardly ever works (Safari). The chat function falls over frequently - the desire for feedback at the end of the chat also means that you cannot save the transcript. Access to information is difficult generally, for example nowhere can I find the date that I ported my number away to a new provider. The two years I was with them, the signal was also very patchy as well.
To compound the issue, Vodaphone are now charging me a £5 late payment fee, even though I am out of contract with them!. in other words realising their mistake (charging me line rental for a period after my contract had ended) they have send me a revised final bill of £zero with a late payment fee of £5. Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever and really adds weight my accusation of this company being thieves (demanding money for a service that they are not providing, and then fining me a further £5 plus VAT, for not paying for a service that they are not providing). Honestly, you couldn't make this up.
(and yes, I have spoken to your social media team. I have been messaging them for one hour, and so far have got as far as the basic questions).
I lost my iphone on Friday
I lost my iphone on Friday, I was pretty convinced I lost it in Sainsburys but they didn't have it. Reluctantly I called Vodaphone who said they will cancel the sim, I stayed on the line and another person told me to cancel the iphone too for privacy, I was lucky to be told this as the first person never mentioned it. I then found the phone lodged under the car seat so I called back to ask then to either cancel the blocking or unblock. They said it could take up to 24 hours but nothing happened all weekend then Monday around 11am I noticed my phone couldn't send messages or make calls.....surely it hadn't taken these people nearly 3 days to block a stolen or lost phone??? Unfortunately thats exactly what had happened, they blocked it 3 days later and just ignored my request to unblock it. He kept me on the phone on hold for ever then told me I had to wait another 24 hours...so unprofessional and basic.
Follow up trade ins
Follow up to my last review all I can say is this is a mess a joke and disgusting it’s been going on since last month to be told that my trade in has got to them to now see from yesterday not only is this false but they have taken both my trade in values off both my numbers I have with them. So now my original number what had no effect what so ever they decide oh I no what we will now do we will take off the trade in off that number just to make things worse for the customer why not? …. I am sick and tired of going around in circles with these I have the complaints team who say can’t do nothing until the next bill is generated I said but you can see on my app it has been taken off both my numbers nope I have to wait until the 12th of Nov then for me to contact them again to look into it yet again … honestly I wish I can just pay up an leave as I wouldn’t wish this on anyone with the trade in discounts I wasn’t paying no air time now it is £25 so not only have they taken my 2 trade in mobiles put me through what I can only call hell I have lost out on everything yet the multi billionaire company has gained.
I am so tired of it all getting the phone calls to say yes it’s sorted complaints closed when in fact I had to reopen this whole situation to basically start again why can’t someone just add my trade ins back on my account?? Why can’t they see that it has been taken off?? It’s basic things but no they will wait until my bill comes out and say some absolute rubbish again please everyone avoid this trade in system it’s not right and it’s not fair what they put you through you lose out and they gain

Germit, she was very good to me and actively helped me solve the problem. I was very happy!
Vodafone worse than Hitler? feels like it
Vodafone dropped my service during my contract in 2016 for no reason. Continued charging me despite zero service.
Three years later after the account was closed it turns out Vodafone had put a default on my credit score and claimed i owed £450 which i had already paid (for a contract with no service).
As i wanted to buy a house i very reluctantly paid this again. 2 months later they charged me a further £10 for an unknown reason. Again as i wanted to buy a house i paid it. They refuse to send me any documentation confirming the account closure. I am still to this day fighting just to confirm the account is closed and they won't try to steal again.
They are robbing thugs and i honestly cannot understand how they are allowed to continue to steal peoples money. Also, to understand all of the above took around 200 hours of calling Vodafone to understand and sort out. Vodafone time spend calling me 0.
This is the worst company i have ever had to deal with. If you have an ounce of sense i would avoid Vodafone like the plague.
This company is the biggest scam
This company is the biggest scam. If I could give zero star, I would. I am not able to make any international calls since 3 days. I have been complaining to the technical team of Vodafone. They were completely useless and didn’t get to the bottom of the issue. They said they will escalate this further and would get back to me. Noone has contacted me since. I asked to cancel my contract but they told me i would have to pay cancellation fees. I am not able to use the phone network because of Vodafone but they won’t let me cancel my contract free of charge. It’s the worst customer service ever. Yoy need to wait at least 45 minutes before being to speak to someone on the phone; however if you call the cancellation team you’ll be able to speak to someone in 2 minutes who will do everything to keep you as a customer.
Due balance for never used service
I have signed a contract for phone and broadband in September 2019. 4 days before the scheduled date to receive the broad band and install I called customer service to postpone the service because I needed to move to a temp home. In the call the assure me everything was sorted. I didn’t got a follow up email or call after neither received/activated the broadband. Today, it was brought to my attention that this case is already in Collections due to unpaid balance regarding this matter. After being in call for 1h with customer services they hang up and don’t call back. They claim I have to pay for the balance in order to fix the situation even tho they know I called before to post pone the service. It’s an atrocity. I fell like they are robbing my money. This situation, also afecta my credit score and no one has the time to reach back to a paying customer to fix this situation.
Good network
As PAYG customer for the last 6 months I couldn't see any faults. Good coverage, 4G mostly everywhere in West London. Monthly bundle renewed without any problem, rolling data and minutes for next month seems to be fair. Their android app quite easy to use and manage your account. Honest review from my 6 months experience as PAYG client.
Rip off company
I upgraded my phone after being called by vodafone saying I was due for an upgrade and they highly recommended the HTC mini one.
What they didn't tell me at that time, (but have subsequently admitted) is that android phones are updating in the background all the time, hence my high data use, i don't actually use my phone it's purely for emergency, it's useless trying to talk to them, they, do you know what I can't even think about them anymore, I'm stopping my direct debit to them, I have taken the sim out of the phone, I can't deal with this company anymore its actually making me feel ill, I have given one star because I have to, not because I want to, this company needs investigating
Utterly lamentable customer service
Almost certainly the worst organisation I have ever dealt with in terms of customer service. Use them at your peril.
Long wait for my upgraded phone
Hi, I ordered a Iphone 6 as an upgrade on the 18th November and although I was stated that it was out of stock, the lady advised they receive stock every Tuesday and Thursday and it should be in stock within the next 3-5 working days.
I have phoned up several times to see if they have had a delivery and was told it was still out of stock and that I should keep ringing daily now as my back order may get stuck and therefore the phone will not get dispatched to me.
Has anybody else suffered this delay from Vodaphone?
Thanks Jason
Highly Disappionted service
I had contract with vodafone, number was 07867-424807, my contract ends on October 2014 and I request them to please convert my SIM to Pay as you Go .
But my number is OFF since 9th November, I want to keep this number as pay as you go because it is my main number.
I phoned many times to customer service and no one resolved my query, I have many many phone call , anyone can imagine if your number goes off suddenly.
My request was to convert my number as Pay As you Go, what is rocket science in it.
I am very very angry, and I will never ever be the part of Vodafone
Poor service
Left Vodafone to go to Tesco mobile and the difference is unbelievable . Vodafone messed me around and overcharged me for data I asked to be included in the tariff . Use another provider.
Unacceptable reasoning!!!
I know I'm not the first to have this complaint with Nokia and Vodafone, On Friday when the weather was bad my son was on the phone to his dad who is working away in the forces, unfortunately it was raining, which unknowing to my 13 year old son and myself would void our warranty with Vodafone/nokia.
After a short chat to his dad my son gave me phone which was put into my handbag what I didn't know Nokia phones have not been designed to be used in the rain, ironic as we live in the u.k!!
My sons phone stopped working I have now been told there is moisture damage to the phone which still has a 21month contract on it, I do think when this phone is being sold people should be aware that it is not for use when raining!!!! even though my I phone has never had this problem!! feeling very frustrated as my hubby is away and Im left to deal with this alone, Vodafone being very unhelpful
They don't deserve 1 star, disgusting service.
I upgraded recently (big mistake) since then I have had nothing but problems.
I had a 20% line rental discount, which came off, and I had to reapply no issues there, however when going into my local store in September, they failed to tell me about excessive data charges, even though I asked if my bill was higher than usual. The girl in store was more Interested in selling me an iPad contract, and even told me the discount was in place.
Since then I have had to call customer services, and when I advised about my issues, I asked them to resolve it, I was told I needed to go to my local store to get them to to put notes on my account before anything could be done, I was unable to go into the store for about 2 weeks as I work during the week, and I was busy at the weekends, I had to spend 45 minutes on a Saturday after work trying to get the store to simply add notes.
They have now suspended my account, and when I called into to customer services, they transferred me to collections without telling me, and even after I told them what the issues were they tried to tell me what they need to do even though I know what needs to happen, they don't care, and to make it worse the person in collections then started to speak to me in another language that I don't understand, I was insistent that I wanted to speak to a manager, at which point I was told nobody was available. I no longer wanted to speak to a brick wall, but I will be submitting a formal complaint and reporting Vodafone to offcom. Vodafone have twisted their words "power to you" I think not, power to Vodafone more like.
RUDE RUDE RUDE
I have contacted Vodafone several times online and over the phone and was absolutely shocked at how poor their customer service was..They have call centres all over the world but the terrible customer service is the same. The rudness, the lack of understanding, the lies...never had this from any other network..
Very long story short...They confirmed 3 times on different occassions my phone was blacklisted and it wasn't..had to go to Apple to sort in the end which they did and the service was awesome.
I would never recommend Voda...AWFUL DISGUSTING FRUSTRATING HORRIBLE service.
