Extremely unprofessional service and an unclear cancellation policy.
I've been with Virtually There for a few months, mainly using their service just to display an address on my website. After moving to a new city last month, I decided to cancel my virtual office subscription since I no longer live there and don’t actually use the service.
After submitting my cancellation request, I received an email confirming it and asking me to remove their address from my website, which I completely understood and planned to do after finishing my current work commitments. As with any normal subscription, I assumed I would still have access to the service until the next billing date, which seemed perfectly reasonable.
However, about an hour later, I received a call from a staff member who was extremely rude and unprofessional. She questioned why I no longer wanted the service and even called me an 'amateur' for not having another address lined up. During the call, she impatiently demanded that I remove all mentions of the address immediately while pointing out specific areas of my site. I explained that I couldn't see what she was referring to at one point and needed time to check, but instead of being understanding, she snapped and said, 'I'm not a website designer,' implying I was wasting her time.
I acknowledge that I hadn't yet removed the address, but I fully intended to do so within the same day. What frustrated me wasn't the request itself, it was the staff member's rude, dismissive attitude and the way she spoke to me, as if I had no right to cancel or didn't understand what I was doing.
I've been paying for a service I barely use, and I expected at least basic courtesy during the cancellation process. Instead, I was met with impatience, disrespect, and judgment. No customer should be treated this way.
Also, the payment for this month was made on October 9. I would like to clarify whether it is actually company policy that customers are not allowed to use the service until the next billing date on November 8. This policy doesn’t seem to make much sense, so I'm wondering if it was perhaps miscommunicated by the staff member.

Very Pathetic experience
Very Pathetic experience. Please stay away from them. I paid for the business address that i never recieved. They asked for documents that i have provided but they have not accepted those and asked for other documents when i provided what they are asking but they still didn't done anything and took 1 month, and they have charged me 20 pounds for nothing

The tone of their emails is completely…
The tone of their emails is completely disproportionate — like dealing with bailiffs over a missed mortgage payment. A single failed direct debit (which I paid the same day) somehow led to account suspension just 10 days later. No grace period, no understanding — just a cold “credit control” notice locking me out of my own mail. For £24. Ridiculous. I’ve cancelled and switched to a provider that actually supports small businesses.

Unexpected Billing After Order Cancellation and Refund Processed
I previously ordered address, but the team was unable to process the transaction for the address. It was marked as pending, though the amount was deducted from my account. I contacted the team, explaining that I had paid, but the status showed pending. They cited a technical fault and said the amount would be returned to my account. I asked them to cancel the order and issue a refund, which they did after a few days. However, I was billed again today. Since I had already canceled and hadn't made any new purchases, I'm confused why I was billed again. They are not being helpful.
