I really enjoyed the "Unlock your vibrato" class. It was very encouraging and really gave me a feeling how vibrato can work for me. I will come back to the videos every once in a while in order to refresh my knowledge and practice further on. What is also important: I had a lot of fun taking this class. It has given me a great start to improve my playing.

At Julia's Violin Academy, I find a friendly and supportive atmosphere where every aspect is geared toward encouraging me to be a better violinist. Julia and Team are warm professionals whose passion for the music and students is obvious in each lesson, video and practice plan. My inquiries receive prompt and accurate responses, and their emails keep me abreast of online activities and upcoming events. I am happy with JVA's amiable environment and affable climate.

I’ve always wanted to enhance my playing (still a beginner) with a nice vibrato. I tried teaching myself, but that wasn’t much of a success. Then I decided to face the music and enroll on Julia’s Unlock Your Vibrato course.
I liked the clear format of this course. The progress was made easy through a well-structured path with modules, with just the right amount of information and plenty of room for individual practice. The essential pre- and knuckle exercises were the foundation of the whole process, and I found them to be the basis of mastering the vibrato, with continuous practice of course. You need to make your knuckles more flexible and relaxed. This is something that I didn’t appreciate before this course, neither the importance of progressing slowly and meticulously. Now I know: Easy does it!
The modules present some nice melodies in play-along videos with Julia, then you get to play them yourself with accompaniment, practising each finger in turn.
These exercises are now part of my daily routine, as only practice makes (almost) perfect!

This is a course I can highly recommend as well for beginners as for more advanced violin players, who want to learn vibrato. Thank you, Julia!

Learning the vibrato course was an amazing experience. I often attempted vibrato without the course and failed miseribly. Since taking the course, I now know where I was going wrong. I needed a tutor and my vibrato went from nothing to actually getting it right. It is getting better with more practice. Without this course I would still be getting no-where.

I have completed Julia's Unlock Your Vibrato course and found the videos and exercises an excellent way to learn vibrato. I have also found it helpful with the learning of the violin in general eg.relaxing left hand.

Julia’s Violin Academy 2023 Unlock Your Vibrato Course was one of the most influential and educational Vibrato Courses I’ve experienced. Before Julia’s class, I was somewhat reserved, after not playing from some years. This course open up my confidence, I now play with more feelings, my vibrato has improved dramatically, and able to connect with others on FB though the course. Julia takes you on a step-by-step process with essential topics and provides you with explicit details to all the demonstrations to every Module. I highly recommend anyone interested in improving your violin experience to enroll in the academy. I’m looking forward to the next course.

Julia's online Vibrato class is an excellent way to learn Vibrato. The Video demonstrations with close up of finger movement and placement can be viewed again and again. Students can play along with the instructor and then submit a video for the instructor to review and add suggestions for improvement. The feedback from submitted videos has been very quick which has helped me improve my technique. I would not hesitate to take any of Julia's classes online.

Unlock Your Vibrato Course and The Ultimate 2023, 100 Days Practice Challenge made me practice and I feel I have improved my playing with consistent discipline. Vibrato course was great and I really got more confident with the technique. Thank you Julia

This is the very best course I have come across that teaches how to play vibrato. Having previously tried other avenues and decided it was impossible, Julia's simple encouraging sessions have given me everything I need to develop this wonderful technique. She is an amazing teacher.

I'm truly enjoying Julia's Academy, especially so, the "Unlock Your Vibrato" course.

For me, the baby steps and simple explanations just make it so much more comfortable for me.

I think that Julia and her team took a lot of time to build this school because nothing had be forgotten.
You will learn at your own pace and level, with a great supervision, in an interactive, warm and encouraging atmosphere.
What I like the most is being able to play violin with Julia, and to benefit of all the tools she made available to learn. I am still discovered them.
In a few weeks, I have made a lot of progress and I’m very happy to know Julia and her Academy.

Julia's Violin Academy provides excellent instruction on violin for all levels. As a beginner am very pleased with the ease of learning due to her attention to detail and quality communication skills. She encourages excellence in every lesson with her kindness and precision. She offers guidance for every imaginable issue. I personally unsuccessfully tried other online teachers but Julia's is the ONE I stuck with for over a year because of all the above and I certainly will continue because she motivates me so.

The courses Unlock your Vibrato and Practice Smarter at Violinspiration have been extremely helpful. With lots of useful and clear instructional videos and exercises, I could improve my vibrato and now I have a better understanding on how to schedule a practice session, getting the most out of it each time.
Julia's Violin Academy is also a great online violin school, with two fantastic teachers, Julia and Victoria, and a huge variety of contents (video lessons; challenges; pieces with piano accompaniment; and a lot more).
I can only recommend it and both courses!

At the age of 69, recovering from a serious illness, I was told to make the most of my life. Among the things that I wanted to do was to be able to play the violin. A teacher let me down, so I joined Julia's Violin Academy.

Great on-line tuition, advice, exercises, one-to-one feedback, the facility to practise within a group and and the facility to receive help for any questions that I may have.

It's fun, Julia and the hosting team are positively inspiring and I have made tremendous progress - in a month.

The Albert Hall hasn't called me yet, but when they do, I'll be ready - thanks to Julia's Violin Academy!!

Amazingly fast response to a request for fillable pdfs in one of the short courses as this is easier for me than printing and hand writing.

The Julia's Violin Academy offers a gradual improvement approach suitable for all levels of students. Also, the material offered could be downloaded and revisited later on at the most convenient time for all of us. Violin is not an easy instrument to learn, and Julia and her associates did their best to alleviate the "suffering" we all face with at the beginning. Given the enthusiasm of its founders, I am sure this project will grow further to the satisfaction of its users. As for me, I just scratched the surface and in the process, this program helped me get more acquainted with what learning the violin could offer any one of us in terms of personal development and staying mentally fit for life challenges. Learning to play an instrument helps a lot in tackling all kind of everyday issues. For example, the most important lesson for me: when learning a difficult piece (whatever level) the most important step in the process is to relax both physically and mentally. The same goes for the everyday challenges in our lives. That's why I find learning to play so important and the lessons learned so applicable to everyday life. So, thanks Julia and all others in the community for being so open and helpful. I believe, once I am better positioned in terms of my social environment and living circumstances, this experience would come handy and make me persist in overcoming the obstacles, step by step, all the way to playing nice and soft embellishing my performance with ever desired vibrato that stands out as the expression of my true feelings. A long way to go, I know, but somehow I feel it's not that difficult as it might have seemed before I joined the Program.

Julia is an excellent teacher. She gives clear guidance to beginners. I love her patient and warm teaching style. She is the best I have found on the WEB.

After having a private teacher I didn't think violin lessons could get easier to learn, or suddenly become more natural. This is the best structured course I have come across. If you have an ear for music, you will especially appreciate being able to play along and hear yourself with Julia and ah.... catch your own intonation (gasp).

Julia, I have no complaints at all. I don't open e-mails very often. I do practice violin{although...}. I. Love. Violin. I'll be in touch? Good work, keep going. what do you think about the hardanger? worth my money? to fiddle around with? };>)
