I ordered a product. I received payment details and made a payment to the relevant account. The product never arrived. I asked where the product was, and was told they hadn't received payment. I sent proof of payment. It all went quiet. I asked where the product was and was was told they hadn't received payment. This continued to go around in circles for 3 months until I demanded a refund from my bank. The people I dealt with either couldn't, wouldn't or hadn't read what had happened previously in the case, or else they wouldn't have just kept on asking the same question over and over again. Can't comment on the product as it never arrived, but the customer service in terms of reading what I wrote to them and responding appropriately, was woeful.

Great product at a great price. Planters wrapped securely and delivered within 3 - 4 days of ordering. Easy to assemble, albeit fiddly (many, many tiny nuts and bolts)!!!!!

Shocked an disgusted. Me an my wife have punched a sink from this company.when it arrived we opened it an it was a double sink that had snapped in half.we didnt even removed it from the box an contact the company.its clearly poorly made and not impressed at all with it.there response was a 15pound refund.! On a sink that carnt be used let alone installed. An if I was to want refund I would have to pay for return. I dont see why I should pay to return such rubbish an lose out on money because the product is faulty. I would like the company to collect there sink an refund me my money. I am now with out a sink.Please dont buy from this company.

I have never experienced customer service quite like this. I would give zero stars.
I ordered a pair of bedside cabinets from vidaXL for £106. When I came to assemble them, I discovered that one unit was missing an essential component and could not be built. The product was therefore unusable.
After reporting the issue, vidaXL initially offered a replacement. They then informed me that the item was out of stock and put the following in writing:
"In this case, a full refund is the only option available."
I accepted.
That should have been the end of the matter.
Instead, what followed was weeks of frustration, contradictory information, ignored messages, and what appeared to be a complete inability of customer service agents to read the case notes already in front of them.
Despite already agreeing a full refund, I was repeatedly asked to start from the beginning. Different agents asked whether the problem was "damage" or "missing parts". I was asked to identify missing parts after the refund had already been agreed. I was asked for photographs that had already been provided. Agents frequently ignored direct questions, stopped responding mid-conversation, or simply repeated scripted responses that bore no relation to what had been said.
One particularly absurd exchange involved me repeatedly asking whether the company wanted the goods returned. I asked the same question over and over again. Nobody would answer it. Instead, I received the same copy-and-paste responses about company policy and partial refunds.
The final position was even more remarkable. After previously stating that a full refund was the only option available, vidaXL later claimed that this was incorrect and attempted to reduce the offer to just £15.
To summarise:
- Product arrived with an essential part missing.
- Product could not be assembled.
- Full refund offered in writing.
- Refund accepted.
- Refund never processed.
- Endless chasing required.
- Contradictory responses from multiple agents.
- Agents repeatedly terminated chats for no reason.
- Offer reduced to £9 or £15 voucher.
-Final Offer was £15 refund.
- I have been forced to arrange a charge back
The missing part was annoying. The customer service was far worse.
I have retained the emails and chat transcripts and would strongly advise you do not purchase from VidaXL.
This has been one of the most frustrating retail experiences I have ever had.

Not good. Ordered bamboo blinds which were not cheap. Poor quality and started to fall apart days after fitting. Customer service is a chat box. Requested return / refund. Response promised within 24hrs. Still waiting

Wish I had read reviews on TrustPilot before placing an order. My order was cancelled by vidaXL the next day with no explanation even though the items were still listed as available. The ChatBot was useless (no surprise there) and when I asked to be connected to their team the site suddenly experienced technical difficulties. Will not be using again.

I had a terrible experience with VIDAXL. I bought a parasol from them, and the quality was extremely poor bad materials, and it arrived without any instruction manual. I tried assembling it, but it was extremely unstable and unsafe. I have a toddler at home, and now I can’t let him go near it because it’s so unsafe I had to put extra weight all around it just so it wouldn't fall. I followed all of their instructions, uploaded clear pictures of the damages, and highlighted the poor quality materials, but customer service took days to respond. I asked for a return or refund, and they kept saying it would be escalated. In the end, they offered me just €30 for a parasol that cost €150, and then they stopped responding. My emails have gone unanswered, and now I’m past the 14-day mark, so I’m sure they will just deny any refund. This was a completely awful experience, and I strongly recommend everyone buy from somewhere else.

Orders frequently arrive much later than the 2-4 working days that it states on the website. They're not the most helpful and they will ignore you so you do need to chase them to resolve any issues. Tracking information is hit and miss, late deliveries. Especially when they send orders with GLS and Parcelforce. Yodel seems to be the more reliable courier they use. No complaints about the products themselves. All the furniture is very straightforward and easy to assemble. Nice quality. Just a real shame sometimes about the poor customer service and late deliveries.

We bought an onlive green sideboard from Vida XL and I will say it was not worth the 2 days it took us to assemble. The combination of confusing images with no written instructions with incredibly flimsy and slippery metal pieces nearly sent us mad setting up. I really wouldn’t recommend these products to anyone. Don’t waste your time !

The bookcase I ordered arrived in flat pack format with a comprehensive instruction booklet, assembling the bookcase was straight forward good matching joints, frame and shelves solid medium oak, the back of the bookcase was medium oak effect, overall I'm very pleased with the unit.

I ordered two Grey table tops,the price was good,shipping cost above average but when they arrived only one was the correct colour.
They dont work Weekends but i sent a message and photo proof but no reply
I finally rang and was asked to send proof which i did sent images showing one a totally different colour
I was told they would contact me with what to do within two days
Still haven't been in touch even though i have sent more emails
They just are not interested and i have an item that i have paid for that is useless
Do not recommend them at all

Despite having issues with late delivery and the 2 parcels being delivered separately everything went well in the end. I am very pleased and happy with my tv cabinet with lights and i apologies for the bad review left before and trust issues!

The item received was very good indeed, easy to assemble & perfect for my needs, but the delivery with Yodel was terrible. They stated delivery driver was 1 mile away with 3 stops before me, then they were approx 200 yards away, THEN they were 6 miles away & the delivery didn't happen! It was rescheduled for the next day & did eventually arrive, but I was not impressed with Yodel at all.

Adversitied item was worded and presented with images in a misleading way. It led to believe that chairs and table were included but instead only chairs were "the item".
If I knew clearly that only the chairs were being bought, I would have bought the item from Amazon because on Amazon they sell the complete set for three price of the chairs alone! To return the item there is a lot of pushbacks and they request you to contribute towards the return and only after the return has been "approved"!
It's not the advisors fault as they're only doing their job as they're told but..... Rest assured I'll never buy again from these people!
In addition to the above, you can only contact the seller for a period of 3 hours a day only (from 9am until 12) which is not good if you're working. Furthermore, items advertised as be l taking 2-4 days to be delivered however only after purchase they inform you there's a delay or a problem with the delivery or stock, forcing you to contact them and chase them actively in order to get things sorted.
Really really poor and petty service!

Cheap Chinese product.
I am very disappointed with the quality of this product. The assembly panels do not align properly, leaving noticeable gaps between the boards. The edges are already chipped and damaged, and the finish looks cheap and poorly applied. Even after careful assembly according to the instructions, the furniture looks uneven and unstable.
The materials appear to be low-quality particleboard with a thin veneer that is already peeling and wearing at the edges. The screw connections do not pull the panels together properly, resulting in visible gaps and an unfinished appearance.
For the price, I expected much better craftsmanship and durability. The product does not match the quality shown in the pictures and gives the impression of poor manufacturing and quality control. I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for sturdy, well-made furniture.
