A Disgrace

I'm 45 & never had significant issues with a GP practice until late last year after moving to Nottingham

The first meaningful consultation I had here after registering with Victoria and Mapperley Practice was with a vague wishy washy trainee GP however I was never told he was only a trainee which is clearly wrong.

He took me off some long term medication without counseling me on withdrawal effects. Had he informed me properly I would have opted to have the drug tapered or defer stopping. Next couple of months a catologue of errors (some serious) mostly by incompetent receptionists. Decided I'd had enough and made a compliant.

The next consultation I had a 'Dr' Mawji ranted incoherently at me and used incorrect medical reasoning to attempt to justify his future plan for substandard / incorrect treatment.

This is what our good NHS is reduced to. A sacrilege and absolute inept disgrace.

Registered at another nearby practice now which is far better and back to what I'm used to.

My advice for handling this practice, keep all evidence and record conversations if possible as I did.
