NEVER USE THIS APP, TRUST THE REVIEWS.

Didnt know that its possible to go sink lower than a facebook or WhatsApp messenser, but here we are.

I cant even comprehend how bad this chat service is. First thing after registration you receive a bunch of random chat "bots" or sth. Not even mentioning that in order to somehow prevent the app from tracking all random stuff, you firstly need to go deep into the settings.
Oh and if you want to add some contact and ACTUALLY CHAT, you are REQUIRED to give this app a PERMISSION to your photos and media. Furthermore, nobody can get rid of bot messages, or multiple ads, notification spams etc.

For an app that provides a way to communicate, its so ironic that its so difficult to communicate with viber. I have used viber briefly because for some reason, this is the preferred app in th PH. However, after accessing viber through personal laptop and work laptop, I got blocked. I have sent several requests to unblock my number to no avail and there is just no way to reach them. Seriously switch to Whatsapp people!!!

This app is terrible, always bad. I am using to work and I am trying for months to compare if it is different result when I call different countries but it´s very bad.

I recently connected to viber regarding a deletion of a hidden chat. They had no explanation as to the deletion of most of my chat.
My friend still has hers intact. She wants to give me her old phone with the chat history intact (since most of the chat is my poetry and prose) then delete viber off her new phone and we will switch to a different app. My question is this, when she does this will I still retain the chat history on the old phone and secondarily, can I switch the chat to unhidden?

21-09-2022 Terrible Service. Made payment then blocked from viber out calling no apparent reasons. Terribly slow customer care service. Not recommended. I should have checked feedback in Trustpilot before making payment. (Initial 1 star)

Updated: 23-09-2022: Customer services contacted within few hours and the problem was solved. (Updated to 2 stars) because the call quality is bad.

Please can we have an alternative way to log in our accounts on another device? I would really prefer using email to log in, because it's much more easier than using the phone to scan. I hope Viber will add this in the next update version.

Trash support. Desktop app keeps crashing so I reinstalled it. After reinstalling it, it keeps failing to synct. I contacted support and this stupid snowflake hoe named Katriona A. from their support team gave me a canned response and was never helpful. This snowflake also threatened to ban me from opening a ticket support if I offend her feelings again.

This support employee cares more about her feelings than doing her job, and actually solving a problem. I hope this company caves in from within along with its useless employees like this snowflake support employee.

My account has been blocked .When I reached customer services I was told I am blocked for spam and suspicious activity.I asked them three times to be more specific but still got this responce that I am blocked for spam and this is permanent.No further investigation, no explanation.

I had a viber account for along time to keep in touch with family partner and friends . Since viber went down a few months ago I not been able to use it I thought by uninstall and reinstall it might sort the problem but then I can't access it as activation failed. Contacted viber and they said I was blocked due to spam ect which is weird as when viber went down last I hadn't been able to use it to make it worse there refusing to unblock me which how can weird activity or spam be going on if viber was down. My advice to people is try other ones like snap chat what's app as viber seem to have got very dodgy

Viber, what can I say about this VOIP company, except that they are very unpleasant. Last week I downloaded the app from the Apple AppStore, connected with a Vodaphone SIM card and Albanian mobile phone number. I received the pin number via email from Viber and completed the registration. However I have not been able to make outgoing calls, I’ve received incoming with relative ease. I contacted them 3 times and only after the third time did they respond, telling me my number had been blocked, because “it was reported as spam and unusual activity so was automatically added to the block list and is permanent and cannot be unblocked”. No further communication is entered into. I would like to know how such an arbitrary decision can be made by this Japanese company, whereby they will not give a reason for making this decision.

Extremely unreliable company.
Blocked my subscription 3 times, no apologies. No explanation.

My number was classified as "spam" for no reason; can't reach a representative. Costumer service so bad, I simply decided to move to WhatsApp!

Viber blocked my number for no reason, and they don't even bother to check my case !

Blocked my viber out account without any reason. I sent them several tickets last few days to unblock my account. But haven’t heard back yet. Their customer support sucks. I want my money back.

Through viber, I learn new things while talking to my friends or family. Helpful and informative

The overall experience with Viber is good. It is found to be a useful and helpful application.
As I use the application, there are ads playing in the background which annoy me. As this application has a limited user base, we have to use another messaging application to communicate with them. In particular, video calls have poor quality.

Worst company ever!
Don’t trust them!

My account got blocked without me doing anything. I just had one friend that i was using viber to communicate and my account got suddenly blocked. When i raised a ticket it said it was reported as a source spam and no further info will be provided. Who could possibly report me as a spam i have no friend on my viber. You have the worst algorithm. It is terrible.
