Weekend weg in Grand hotel ter Duin in Haamstede.
Top hotel met goede faciliteiten.
Echt een aanrader.
Great customer service, great descriptions and organisation.
I thought the location was beautiful but was disappointed by a few points : we were not in the main domain and this was not mentioned during the booking which would have better to manage expectations.
Some little quacks still the hotel : the AC kept making noise even even turned off so the room was never quiet and had to sleep with earplugs.
The drinks were not at included in the diner (even only water) - that was also not mentioned (or at least not clearly).
Overall would use the service again but not for the hotel and will « investigate » more on the hotel and the offer.

Perfect week-end. New hotel and destination for us and it was a pleasure. The hotel, the room and the dinner were delicious.
Selection of hotels and booking through luxury hotel company was great. There is something for everyone.
We booked the Grand Hotel ter Duin. There was a sauna in our room, which was nice. The hotel is in the middle of nature and you can do all kinds of activities outdoors. There where a couple of small things that where annoying: parking costs 6 € a day, at check-in we were already told that late check out is not possible - no explanation. trash can in our room was not emptied, and if you are a veggie or even vegan you will have a hard time. But overall it was a nice stay.
Wonderful weekend away
The breakfast was amazing. The live cook made the most wonderful eggs benedict. We stayed in a sauna room with a bubble bath. Room was neat, clean, roomy and had all the little extras - including needle and thread when I had a wardrobe malfunction. Our room had a huge, comfortable bed. The fitness rooms and public saunas have a beautiful view over the harbour. The cocktails are delicious.
The hotel is beautiful. The room is perfect for a romantic weekend. The food is unbelievably delicious, but we were forgotten at the table and we waited almost an hour for the dessert. The staff was very friendly.
However, there are still 2 criticisms. You can not get drinks at the late hour. The bar is closed in the evening. We wanted to drink something in the evening and then had to go back to town to buy something. At the vending machine in the hotel you can only with credit card a drink, would be good if you with 3 euros cash a coke could buy, since not everyone has a credit card. And the 2nd point is the parking garage. Since the hotel can not help it, but it was very inconvenient because you have to book everything online, the staff could actually help the customer locally, but they offer no help. Since everything was only in Dutch, it was difficult and in the end it did not work out with us and therefore we had to pay locally 30 euros for the Paken instead of 15 euros.
But otherwise very nice.
We verbleven in Hotel la grande cure in Marcourt België en het was een heel mooi en luxe hotel. We hebben er heerlijk gegeten. Echt een aanrader!
With the booking everything was alright, when we arrived to the hotel the check in went smoothly, the information about the hotel was:” there is the restaurant and there is your room.” Not an explanation about dinner or we have to reserve a table so for dinner we had to search a restaurant in the neighborhood. I’ve asked a baby bed in the room what I had to pay for, when I entered the room I have seen a bed full of with excrement, the frame and the mattress was completely broken, so the bed was useless. I didn’t wanted to believe they thought in a bed like that I’ll let my baby sleep. They tried to “fix it” by shaking it more apart but of course it didn’t work. The windows where dirty, the lights were falling off of the wall the trash can in the bathroom was also not fixed to the wall, it was also falling off. The breakfast was not so much either, other hotels give way more. The place outside looks nice, that’s the only positive what I can say about it.
We stayed in a hotel in Nordwijk and all was perfect including the “surprise” 3 course menu at the restaurant.
Verbleven in Golden Tulip in Breda.
Keep up the good work!
The booking was perfect, but the advertisement for the hotel a bit misleading. Hotel Ibis Styles in Nieuwpoort, Belgium - There was no welcome drink (nor offered), the room was nice but small and tucked away in a corner overlooking a cemetery and roof. Breakfast was fantastic!

The package seemed to be a good deal but...
Once I arrived at the hotel several of the amenities that was listed as being part of the package were standard for all guests. Furthermore, the total value of a night at the hotel, breakfast, four course meal, late check out (which would have been complimentary had we asked at the front desk) and bottle of wine were not worth the €185 that we paid let alone the €310 that it would have cost at the full price.
I am giving this a 3 star review as the customer service was excellent and the hotel was beautiful.
We zaten in het kurhaus..
Creme de la creme.
Alles was top
To be clear: there's a difference between the company LuxuryHotelCompany and the hotels and chains they work with as individual companies. I feel that the high score on this site is due to the service and experience people had at the hotels, but does not reflect on LuxuryHotelCompany itself, which is another story completely. Before falling in the trap of booking so called discount packages, do your own research with the hotel directly. You'll find that there's hardly a discount (if at all) and you're bound to be disappointed expecting a 4* experience, with package items that may not be guaranteed such as late check-out, or, as in our case, were not 4* worthy (average hotel situated in - I kid you not - an elderly home, cheap restaurant for the 3-course dinner, welcome drinks were vouchers for the fridge in the hotel lobby...). The hotels they work with are not necessarily bad, but their offers and promotions are 100% misleading (plus they'll add €20,- booking fee and tourist tax, even though they claim it's included before booking). You're better off without interference of a company that's only after your data for commercial gain (their customer service reaction to our complaint was to forward it to the hotel and offer more coupons... No interest in actually servicing customers). Don't fall for the scam!
