Dreadful experience culminating in a safeguarding complaint to the Local Authority and CQC. Visits omitted, breakfast visit at 1pm-obviously this company prefers confused clients whose complaints can be dismissed. Unfortunately for them my father has full capacity so he made phone calls to family members who made mad dash emergency visits. I had been phoning from 9am after Dad first called me and was repeatedly told that although the carers were running late they would definitely be there in 20 minutes. Pure lies. By the time we arrived, after 12.30 and still no carers, the catheter was backed up and over flowing as it had not been attended to for over 18 hours. Dad was hungry, thirsty, wet and dirty.
On a separate occasion a ham sandwich which had been bought and left for tea was spread with marmalade and presented instead of toast for breakfast. When Dad asked for a cup of tea was given a can of Coke! Slap dash uncaring attitude- assumed Dad would be disregarded as senile- that was their first mistake. Please under no circumstances use this agency.
