Online procedures were simple to complete. Response time on the call back was the next morning to set the pick up time. The pick up was scheduled for the afternoon, but the driver was in my area making another pick up and called to see if he could get it earlier. Everything was simple and fast.

I donated the car over a month ago and…
I donated the car and made an appointment to pick it up. The pick up was on time and easy. When the car sold I received a letter via email to use for a tax deduction. Good job.

Had two motorcycles to donate
Had two motorcycles to donate. Filled out the online form. Then my phone was blowing up as well as my text and emails. I was at work so couldnt respond but that didn’t stop them from literally going crazy trying to contact me. I called the next day, talked to some Indian lady who barely spoke English. Arranged for pick up between noon and five a few days later. Got everything ready. Then no call/no show. Called vehicles for veterans number, they said I had to call the “towing company” and have me a number to call. I called got a message about “wait times are very long”. So, trying to donate to help vets through this organization but it seems I take it more seriously than they do. Had a million things to do but still waited for the call I was supposed to get “an hour before they arrive”. Never happened and I get the distinct feeling that they just don’t care. So, I’ll be finding another organization to donate these 2 beautiful motorcycles to. Maybe the next outfit will be in it for the right reason and understand that donors don’t have unlimited time to wait for them to get their stuff together. Horrible experience!!

Undisclosed fees associated with donation
Donated my car it was picked up promptly on July 11, 2025. I received a receipt via email for $500 which was extremely low, but that was OK. Going to a good cause now I’ve received a lien notice in the mail from a towing company Saying they took possession on August 5 and that I owe them for storage if it auctions off for less than the Storage fees! Never again will I donate anything this is ridiculous.
I must admit I was pretty hot when I got that lean notice. After speaking with a couple representatives at vehicles for beds I calm down a lot. They said they would handle everything. Also sent me an email. I’m supposed to hear back from them today as they are tracking down all the paperwork on the vehicle I donated will update after I talk to them.
After contacting the they where quick to resolve the issue! Kinda of a odd situation!

Hi Norma, I’m so sorry for the stress this has caused. The $500 receipt you received was just the initial confirmation we send right after pickup so you have paperwork on file right away. It isn’t the actual sale price, and your vehicle hasn’t sold yet.
You are absolutely not responsible for any storage or lien fees after making your donation. We’ll have someone from our team reach out to you Monday morning to get this sorted out directly with the towing company and make sure everything is corrected. The proceeds from your donation will still go to support our country’s veterans as intended.
We truly apologize for the frustration here and will make sure it’s taken care of.
