Quick and easy to use. Good overall history of the vehicle but no service history included.

My Husband had seen a car and it looked to be a really good deal. He was arranging tl collect and pay for it, but I insisted in doing a check with the RAC car check service.
We are so very glad that I did this, as the car was all kinds of bad news! Its crazy how a 3 minute check up saves us hundreds and hundreds of pounds, but it certainly did.

Really straight forward. I found out the car that I wanted to buy was CAT s so I haggled for a better price.

Good and thorough vehicle check by the RAC

Ordered a check on a campervan, the check said the vehicle had 2 former keepers. When the V5C came from the DVLA it showed 3 former keepers, me being the 4th. I questioned this with RAC and was told the information they access is voluntary, they would investigate and issue a new report. A bit late when you have already bought the vehicle! They flatly refused to refund the cost of the report and questioned the report guarantee and was told they have correct the issue by sending a new report. Important to remember the key phrases from their own website "UK’s most comprehensive car history check" and "A Guarantee of up to £30,000 to cover your car history check data" and "several owners may indicate a problem with the vehicle, so we provide an accurate figure..."

Inaccurate report with obvious errors.
A revised report again was inaccurate.
Customer services were as bad as the report.
Avoid!!!!!!!!

Inaccurate report which was completely out of date, didn't contain all info needed, I had to provide information to them so they could update something that should've been updated on the report, not fully accurate on basic information either and their customer service agent was slow, not helpful and couldn't resolve any of my 7 x issues.

Straight to the point. Simple, laid out information with nice colour scheme to hone in on the information of interest. I especially like the fact that RAC provide a vehicle tick box checklist so when you go to buy the vehicle, you can go through them.

I always use RAC for this service. Trusted and quick.
