My day with Vanity studios was incredible. Right from the start, when I met Jenny and Alina who did my hair and makeup respectively. They did a phenomenal job and gave me a perfect look. Then I met Matteo who was the photographer and he just made me feel very comfortable with the shoot. I am camera shy and had no idea how to pose but he directed everything and made it seem so easy and effortless. Finally, I met Chevaugn who showed my pictures and helped me choose them. She also offered to edit pictures if we needed them. Overall my experience was really great and the whole team was very hospitable. I suggested the studio to many of my friends. Thankyou vanity studio for a wonderful experience.

We had a great experience at Vanity studios. I booked a photoshoot as we wanted to have family pictures done and I was a bit worried about my 2 year old as she never stands still but the photographer was amazing with her and they managed to take amazing pictures, which we will cherish forever. Everyone, from the makeup artist, the hairdresser, the photographer, all the staff were very kind and friendly. Would definitely recommend it!

I was really impressed with the whole team from the friendly morning greating to hair and makeup that made me feel glamorous and the photographer. I left with some great photos, including those I can use professionally. Thank you.

Great to have a photo shoot with friends. Lovely pictures but felt we didn't need so many taken, just got a bit tired towards end of day. Staff helpful and recommend a nearby restaurant where we had good meal. Thanks.

Overall this was a great experience - excellent hair and make up artists, plenty of drinks and snacks and a brilliant photographer (Bernardo) who made us feel both comfortable and special. The whole process was easy and fun.

I had a great time at Vanity Studios. I felt well looked after by everyone there. It was a treat to have my hair and make up done, and I was really happy with the balance of having a natural look that I asked for my make up whilst keeping it appropriate to photographic work. The photographer was an expert, who immediately put me at ease, supported me in choosing which outfits to use, and knew exactly how to direct me. There was a good variety of settings in the photography studio, which I appreciated. It was difficult to choose which photographs to keep at the end of the session, as they are pretty expensive and only one photograph is covered by the deposit fee, but the lady supporting me in selecting the photographs was super supportive and kind.

I appreciate the time and effort that went into the session and the professionalism and friendliness of the team on the day. The overall experience in the studio was pleasant and welcoming. However, I was disappointed with the hair and makeup service provided, particularly given the studio’s central London location and the premium price point.

The foundation shade used did not match my skin tone, and the setting powder left a visible white cast on my brown skin, which translated poorly in the final photographs. This significantly affected my confidence in the images and the overall result. In a diverse city such as London, I would expect a professional studio to be equipped to work competently with a wide range of skin tones and complexions.

Similarly, the hairstyling support was not adequate for my hair type. I ultimately had to style my own hair despite following the pre-session instructions to arrive with it blown out. Clients with Afro-textured hair should not feel they must manage their own styling during a paid professional shoot.

While the people themselves were kind and the session environment was enjoyable, this key aspect ultimately undermined the final product. The photographs do not reflect the true skill of the photographers because the hair and makeup preparation did not support the outcome.

As the final photographs did not meet an acceptable standard for me due to how my skin tone and hair were handled, I am rating this experience one star out of five. I share this feedback in the hope that the studio reviews its training, product range, and inclusivity standards, as better preparation in these areas would materially improve the experience and outcomes for clients from diverse backgrounds.

My experience was much better than I expected. Everybody at the Studio is welcoming and extremely friendly and they go out of their way to make the customers feel at ease, from the young person in reception to the make-up artist (in the real sense of the word) to the fantastic Daniel, the photographer who took my pictures. Highly recommended.

From arrival to departure everyone was treated as a special guest. The stylists have a depth of experience, and are able to provide suggests, but listen to what you want.
What makes the magic come alive is the photography. The photographer was encouraging, and made it easy by giving simple directions. He even made the experience fun! I grew up hearing I was unphotogenic. To then be told I have a beautiful smile and are posing well is very special. The photos proved this was not flattery but the result of an incredible experience.

It was a great experience, my friend and I needed a day off to just focus on ourselves, and this experience just made it come true.

The make-up, the photoshopping and the staff could not have been greater and more welcoming.

The results were just breathtaking, and we could not decide which ones to take as they were all great captures. Shoutout to the photographer.

A great day out - an opportunity to feel pampered with an expert make over and hair stylist, followed by a professional photo shoot. The photographer really put us at ease to make sure we came out with a variety of great shots.

Everyone is so friendly, instantly made us feel at ease. Kieran, our photographer, was telling us exactly how to pose. The only difficulty was what photos to pick as they all looked great

I had such a great experience with Vanity Studios. The whole experience was so lovely and we were well accommodated for. Ben, our photographer gave us such a huge selection of beautiful pictures and Chevaughn was so sweet with helping us decide for our photo selections along with the photo packages.

Great customer service, atmosphere, waiting times, and positive experience overall.

We were sold an affordable package deal at Comicon for a cosplay shoot but slightly fell prey to a sales pitch which embellished details and over-promised. The experience itself was good but overshadowed by the slight disappointment that it was not what we were sold.

To note, for anything other than glamour looks, you will be expected to prepare your own look. This unfortunately means that you lose out on a large portion of the pre-paid package with includes nails/hair/make up. Perhaps the studio could investigate a reduced price package which doesn't leave clients feeling like they missed out?

Nevertheless, the staff on the day were welcoming, helpful and talented. Our photographer took the time to research our cosplays to help deliver and guide us through every necessary detail of the perfect image. This was a highlight.

When it came to selecting the shots, we had one included in our package but the sales pitch was once again very intense. It was discussed as if we were expected to spend hundreds of pounds for additional digital photo packages which was not a cost which we anticipated. I fully respect the need to value your craft but we found the price list very intimidating and I don't believe the staff member was particularly sensitive to this.

In summary, a good experience but improved communication from sales staff and a review of package prices would improve overall rating.

This was sold to us at Comic Con as a service aimed at cosplayers, but the experience felt more compromising than we expected. The photographer was amazing—easily the highlight of the day and genuinely brilliant at what he did.

However, because this was a cosplay shoot, we were required to do our own makeup, which is understandable given how specialised cosplay makeup can be. That said, the final photos were very expensive, especially considering there was no makeup or cosplay-specific support included.

Everyone involved was lovely and welcoming, but it felt like cosplayers were more of a side audience rather than the main focus, with the setup leaning more towards traditional glamour photography.

In future, I’d choose a studio that genuinely caters to cosplay and understands the specific needs of cosplay makeup and presentation.

The experience from start to finish was great. I’m really appreciative of the hair stylist who gave me the hairstyle and curls I’ve always wanted to try. The photographer was really good at giving direction. He understand my vision for the photos and they came out amazingly well. Stephan was very helpful and patient with helping me to choose the best pictures which was a very difficult task given the amazing shots that were taken. I would recommend them 100%.
