A shocking company

A shocking company. They demanded unnecessary paperwork from me after my husband's death from terminal cancer. I had to "prove he didn't commit suicide" to pay HIS PENSION!! Not life insurance HIS PENSION. After watching my poor husband suffer horribly and die in the way he did, I had to "prove he didn't commit suicide". It was traumatic and deeply upsetting. These people are awful.

They refused to release funds without the "proof", which would leave me destitute. Payment was finally promised 5 WEEKS ago and I am STILL WAITING.
This is sharp practice and abuse of the vulnerable. DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGE POLE.

EDIT.

At the time of their respnse stating payment had been made, it had NOT. IT STILL HAS NOT BEEN MADE.

MFA Set up

Leah Casey was amazing helping me set up my MFA correctly - which I hadn't done in the first place. She explained everything fully to me and was lovely to talk to. At the end of the call everything was working great. Thanks Leah!

They have taken a year to achieve…

They have taken a year to achieve nothing in moving from company policy to my personal policy with them.
They have not picked up the phone once in years...
Holding my assets hostage at this point, stay away at all cost.

Delays and no excuses

It has now been over a week since utmost told me a payment was ready to be made and all checks completed. This payment was supposed to be on my 25th birthday which was over two weeks ago. They give me absolutely no information over the phone with ‘it’ll be any day now’ type replies. They caused similar extended delays with my sisters inheritance pay out a few years ago on her 25th with no excuse the either. Incredibly stressful and irritating!

The investment has performed well - if I have a problem it is a lack of updated account info - I would prefer to have a written account of my investment every 6 months but apart from that I an very happy with Utmost in general

Poor Custmer Service

I have been trying for 7 months to get Utmost to provide details of a policy that they hold in my name. Through a mixture of either not responding or asking for more information I still haven't succeeded.

The level of incompetence is beyond…

The level of incompetence is beyond belief
After a long phone call with the promise of help in obtaining my money , I received an email with the same information that had already been sent to me several times
I have been waiting for MY money to be transferred to my Spanish bank for 8 months now
Have sent requested documents on many occasions! Still no closer to receiving it
