My two star rating is based on the fact …

My two star rating is based on the fact that there was no indication that I saw that I would not receive cases for most of my purchases and that some of the ones I did were horrible substitutes that were either broken or didn't really have space for the included game in it anyways.

Great prices and great selection!

This is one of my favorite companies to buy used games from. The prices for buying and selling usually blow gamestop out of the water. Theyre selection is great and the site is easy to navigate. I recommend them to anyone anytime!

Just can't get it right!?!?!

So this now makes the 3rd order in a row that has been incorrect. The first , I was sent server ram instead of desktop ram. The second I was sent a defective video card. This time I was sent the wrong video card completely!! After the first 2 mistakes I spoke with CEX and they did offer to correct the problems and I stepped away from them for a while. This past week I found a 780 ti video card at an incredibly low price so I made the purchase. I did not receive anything close to the card in the description of my purchase. This is my last purchase with cex and I will not be referring them to anyone!

The staff working at the store rip …

The staff working at the store rip people off. The condition for the item selling is good and they grade it at c and try to give the lowest amount possible. Sometimes they say they do not cash and can only guve out store credit.

I am sorry if you feel this way. Before purchasing, we book in all products for testing. Our purchasing process includes testing followed by grading of the product. Prices advertised on the website are just estimates on how much we would be willing to offer for a item in a particular condition. However final price can be quoted only once after we have tested the product.

All our prices are set by a dedicated pricing team and keeps in mind various economic factors, market trends and strategies for growth that a second hand retail chain like us needs.

I would also like to inform you that our cash reserves are always in high demand and we offer it on a first come, first serve basis so you may or may not get it when at our store. However, we also offer credit vouchers and bank transfers. You can choose them instead of cash.

Had to open a case with my payment …

Had to open a case with my payment provider to actually receive my refund. Contacted CEX numerous times but situation not resolved. Bank had to step in to make the process work. I won't purchase there again.

10 products purchased with 6 major issues.

I've purchased a few items from you guys; of these items I've have 2 with incorrect chargers listed in A condition, one with a locked firmware, one that was mislabeled as a better product, two came with broken wiring.

They keep sending incorrect items..

They keep sending incorrect items... and they frequently say the item cannot "be sourced and sent" even though I paid for them... so where are they, do they actually bill/charge the correct amount? Other than all the mistakes, I love the great deals!

I am really sorry to hear about the issues you have been facing with the items purchased from us. I understand your disappointment.

We do not have a centralised warehouse. The stock is sourced from our various stores across the US. When you place an order online, we send what is called a pick list to the relevant store(s). There is then a small period in which the store will need to respond to this, stating whether or not they can ship the goods in question.

As such, it is possible that before the pick list is returned, it could be sold in store, or to a different on-line customer before it can be allocated to your order.

In other cases, we may find that the item is in fact broken, damaged, or even missing. We attempt to send the order to other stores should this occur, but this is not always possible and we may experience the same issues of non availability.

If we are unable to source the items, please be rest assured that we do not charge you for these items. I see that my colleague has been dealing with you to resolve this issue.
