I’ve used Urban hundreds of times over the years for home massage. The therapists are generally excellent, arrive on time and highly personable. Highly recommend!

I had an exceptional massage with Bruna. The pressure was perfect and she made me relaxed very quickly. I would highly recommend Urban Massage.

I had been using Urban since 2018 and, for several years, I was a satisfied customer. Unfortunately, over the last year, the quality of the service declined dramatically.

One of the biggest issues was that several practitioners encouraged me to book them privately instead of through the Urban platform. They explained that Urban had significantly increased its commission (they told me it had risen from around 20–25% to approximately 35%) while also increasing prices for customers, making it difficult for them to earn a reasonable income. Whether those figures are accurate or not, this is what I was repeatedly told by multiple practitioners.

I also experienced numerous last-minute cancellations with little or no explanation. On more than one occasion, practitioners even contacted me privately asking for financial help or additional payments, saying they could no longer survive working through the platform. That was extremely unprofessional and made me uncomfortable.

The most serious incident occurred after I reviewed my home security camera footage and noticed behaviour that led me to believe one practitioner had taken items from my property without permission. I have reported this matter to the police and will let the appropriate authorities deal with it.

To make matters worse, my Urban account was eventually blocked. Ironically, this happened after I repeatedly ignored or declined requests from a practitioner who had contacted me outside the platform, including what I considered inappropriate proposals. That same practitioner appears to have reported me for “bad behaviour”, despite my only response being to refuse further contact.

Overall, my experience with Urban has gone from excellent to extremely disappointing. I have now decided to stop using the platform entirely and instead book treatments directly with established, qualified therapists at reputable clinics and specialist centres. Based on my own experience, I can no longer recommend Urban.

We had a very rewarding time with Justyna who was very skilled, kind, responsive and knowledgeable. She shared a lot of great advice while carrying out our treatments. I don’t know how she managed to do three of us consecutively and keep things strong.

The urban business model is great, as we all know the feeling of going somewhere to have a great massage and the deal with the angst of travelling home afterward, losing part of the benefit. Having them come to us is brilliant.

We would defo do again and would want Justyna to be the therapist.

All the treatment in the app are stating the wrong duration!
Nothing wrong with the therapist.
I had two massages recently and while the duration stated is 60 min, the therapists are always coming and leaving on time, but having to set up and prepare takes usually 10-15 mins, meaning the treatment is never a full 60 mins or 90 mins. I think the company should be more transparent and either state less time or instruct the therapists to allow time to set up and leave. I won't do it again.

Despite this, my massage was good, the therapist was thoughtful and nice, so nothing wrong with her specific service

Arta was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive. She took the time to explain each part of the treatment in detail before getting started, which immediately put me at ease and made me feel very comfortable.
