The process of selling my E- Bike to Upway went pretty smooth. Customer service responded to all my questions and concerns.
They sent me a bike box and a return shipping label. They gave me a fair price for my bike. That was wired shortly after they received the bike. I would recommend them to sell a bike.
Exceeded Expectations
Bike shipped within a day, and arrived and has exceeded expectations. Customer service was fantastic and I’ve had an excellent experience.
Dubious quality control
Let me start with the Bike, it's great, rides well and looks very nice. The reasons I did not apply 5 stars was that the bike arrived with a frozen battery lock cover. A problem I resolved by replacing the lock myself. But seems to me that would have been easily detectable in a cursory inspection by Upway. The shipping process was also a bit mysterious. I was notified the bike was on its way on 4/27, then delivered on 5/4. Problem being I received no packages that day. After checking the tracking, the bike had been rerouted and was back in Redondo Beach. I live in Arkansas. I finally contacted a human and was told I was provided the wrong tracking number. That's funny, why was the initial package on its way to my address? Anyway, I was provided a new tracking number and that bike was shipped on 5/4, I finally received the bike on 5/8. I guess in the end all is well that ends well.

2024 Super73 R Adventure SE
I purchased a leftover—but brand new—2024 Super73 R Adventure SE for $2,649. I was a little hesitant at first, but with the price coming in about $1,200 less than buying the same bike new, I decided to go for it.
Since I’m only about two hours from the shop, the bike was delivered fully assembled and ready to ride by courier. I was a bit nervous about that too, but the courier was friendly, professional, and delivered the bike in perfect condition. I bought the bike on the 9th and it was delivered on the 14th which was very fast.
Everything was included exactly as expected: manuals, battery, charger, keys, and tools.
I love the bike, and the entire experience with Upway was smooth from start to finish. They kept me informed throughout the process with regular text and email updates, which I really appreciated. Overall, I had a very positive experience.
They tried to say that I had the wrong…
They tried to say that I had the wrong description for the bike I was trying to sell them. I sent them two pictures of the bike. They knew what they were getting. They originally gave me an estimate that I thought was reasonable. Then it went through their inspection and that was when they decided to really lowball me.
I have been scammed
I have been scammed. I did the whole process, bought their (expensive) packaging. Sent the bike. They finally did send the bike back, with a reason which I did not understand. They sent the bike back at the wrong address, and refused to refund their (expensive) packaging.
Refreshing and trustworthy
Upway is not well known so far in The Netherlands. That will change quickly!
When you have an e-bike in a good or reasonable condition you should contact them. After answering some online questions you will recieve in 5 minutes an offer that is much, much better than when you sell your bike to a regular bike shop. Don't consider to sell your e-bike yourself: buyers offer peanuts.
When you accept the offer Upway buys your bike without an obligation to buy another refurbished bike at Upway's website. But they have excellent bikes for sale. They also take care for free transport if you have no opportunity to deliver the bike. In 2 weeks after the accepted offer they have checked and arranged everything and when all is well (as you said in the first questions) they have also paid the offer.
Upway is a refreshing and trustworthy organisation with royal service!
I bought a Gazelle C380+
I bought a Gazelle C380+. I had not even heard of a Gazelle before finding the Upway website. The research i did on Ebikes did not lead me to the Gazelle. The purchase was completely due to the value I received at Upway. I could not have afforded my bike new. It arrived working and looking new. Do yourself a favor and check out the web site .
Delay in dispatch
I was disappointed by the length of time between order and dispatch, it indicated it would be dispacted very quickly, when in fact it wasn't. The bike was as described, albeit damaged, which I maintain was there before dispatch although the company said it must have happened in transit, although theyprovided a solution, it was not realistic for me. Once dispatched the delivery company kept me informed
The purchase process was easy
The purchase process was easy. Communication excellent the bike was incredibly well packaged and arrived on time with good tracking. It did take me 3 hours to unpack and set it up. The bike was like new. Rides and runs great very satisfied. But two issues: when shopping I gave my height as 5’7”. The bike is at the absolute upper limit for me. Fine when riding but the cross bar hits me at stops and starts. I can live with it but it’s not ideal. 2nd the release for the battery cover is ineffective. It doesn’t release the cover from the retractable pin enough Need to very carefully use a thin bladed pry pry bar to release the case.
Great Service, Great Deal...!!
Upway has Great Customer Service! I was on the fence about spending over $6K on my dream bike, but after Kirk in Sales Support texted me and was able to save me a little more money, it was a done deal. The only hiccup was the "handover" process for my Specialized Comp 4 Alloy was done, so I had to take it to a bike shop to update the software. A few people from the Support kept checking in on me and reimbursed me for the fee I had to pay to the bike shop. I'm SUPER Happy with the bike and got a great price. I will buy from and recommend Upway to all my friends. Very Happy with this company as they treat their customers right :)
