Picking Updoc over phone consults with my GP

The Updoc GP that I got asked important questions, gave great advice and provided me with a sick certificate for exactly what I need. He called me on time, if not early. I loved not having to leave my house and wait in a waiting room for 45 minutes. Sometimes my GP runs 30 minutes behind for a phone consult. The Updoc GP was on-time, got me a sick certificate and all finished under 5 minutes. I also preferred it over a sick certificate from the chemist as Updoc gave me a sick certificate for 2-3 days, rather than the chemist which only does 1 day. I’d be picking Updoc again and again for sick certificates

I was very stressed as my relative ran…

I was very stressed as my relative ran out of her medication she’s in chronic pain. If was very helpful and a relieved to know I could get a script so quickly. Especially as I am a shift worker.

The organisation has not met its duty of service

The only reason I have given 1 star is because 0-stars was not an option, and to include the following. I have been ripped off twice by Updoc. On both occasions my GPs after hours line push me through to Updoc. I paid $92 for a phone consultation. I needed a prescription refilled on one occasion and I needed a new prescription on another occasion. On both occasion I was charged, I was called, and I was told I would receive an SMS of my prescription. On both occasions I did not, and have never, received the prescriptions. I bumped into another patient at my GP who had a similar experience. We have started 'updocclassaction' from g-mail, reach out with stories and to add your name to our growing list.
