telecommunication ombudsman time
I have just reported them to the telecommunication ombudsman, I cancelled their (Non-) service 3 months ago, in writing and by phone. They are still invoicing me and charging me. When i last rang and spoke with them, after being on hold for 45 minutes, the lady finally found my cancellation emails, after initially denying they had received them. She told me she would need to speak to her manager, she put me on hold for another 10 minutes and then hung up on me.
Poor Customer Service with terrible communications
We were customers of Harbour ISP and had no issues, since Uniti acquired the Internet provider they are trying to charge $0.71 for direct deposit on old previously paid invoices. Their customer service is from the people you talk to based overseas and are hopeless. Do youself a favour and stay away from Uniti as an Internet provider.
Ordered Opticomm Internet service but no service
Ordered Opticomm Internet service, because Telstra velocity service ending, Unity said they connected the service just plug the router in a email. when we plug the router no internet, send the support an email and was on hold for three hours yesterday but no support engineer to talk. send another email today but no reply, call again today on hold for 30 minutes but no answer, now I am calling again and on hold at the moment. It appears they do not have any support, this is not reporting a fault but new internet connection. if they can't deliver connection how can they support going forward. two days no internet and can't work from home. children can't do their work either. no body to tell. what are my options? how can I cancel the service. then I can buy 4G modem.

No internet for six days. Three calls to service centre. Enjoy waiting on hold.

1) complete lack of communication whilst waiting for opticomm
2) initially CGNAT was given as the IP address range which cannot be used for incoming connections
3) No IPoE, only PPPoE
4) No IPv6
5) pppd connection is terminated at the remote 1 to 4 times a day, without warning.
6) As of today, the service has been active for about 4 weeks, and already the incoming non-CGNAT IP address has been firewalled off by Uniti
7) Zendesk tickets are not replied to
8) Support emails are not replied to
9) Long (many hour) wait times to get phone answered.
10) Incompetent tech support replies - the LCP echo messages being dropped at the ppp layer (layer 2) are met with the suggestion to run WinMTR to google's quad-8 ip (which is obviously a layer 4 diagnostic issue).
I've had enough after just 4 weeks. I'm going to switch as soon as I can.

I have been trying for days to get ahold to see why our internet isn’t working yet again it’s been off for a week and this isn’t the first time it’s happened! Can’t get ahold of them so give up! This is absolutely disgusting and will be going to another provider!!!
It’s a shame to be a service to public
It’s a shame to be a service to public! I ordered their service connection 6 months before its modem delivered when I almost forgot about it. However actual connection never happened even when direct debit started charges effectively without service. The service contact was too hard to reach with hours and hours waiting time wasted. Cancellation was a big headache for customers with unfair clause. Stay one thousand miles away from this service if you can.

Only entitled to ZERO stars Avoid this company like the plague. This company has continued to illegally withdraw funds they were not entitled to receive. This continued every fortnight for 3.5 months. They advised new provider that I had control of the direct debit NOT true! After getting no where for months I contacted TIO Uniti ignored TIO's instructions to contact me within 14 days. Finally they contacted me asked for bank details which were provided and five working days later no response no money. It appears my only option is Police for what I consider Fraud and Small Claims Court where I will not only seek payment of money owed but Court costs as well. No phone number for Head Office and no Facebook NO WONDER Worst experience with ISP EVER!!!
Worst Internet Company Ever!!! Avoid At All Costs
I had a nightmare experience with Uniti Wireless that I must share to save others from the same hassle. I signed up on 8 May 2023, full of hope for a reliable internet connection. But boy, was I wrong!
Waiting over a month without any sign of a connection was beyond frustrating. To make matters worse, every time I called to sort it out, I had to endure endless hours of waiting on the phone (usually 1-2hr).
Finally, after two long weeks of waiting, a technician showed up at my site, only to confirm what I already suspected – the fault was on Uniti's end, not mine. But guess what? He couldn't do a thing about it!
Enough was enough. On 15 June 2023, I decided to cancel the service. But hold on, the story doesn't end there! Even after cancelling, the drama continued. The agent on the phone begged me to try fiddling with my network settings, but surprise, surprise, it didn't work. Weeks later, I received an invoice for a service I never even got to use – outrageous!
When I called customer service to sort this mess out, they admitted they messed up, and my cancellation request got lost in their maze of incompetence. So, I had to go through the whole process again.
Fast forward to the 23rd of June '23, and guess what pops up in my inbox? Another bill! This time, it's a whopping $424.95 for an 'Opticomm Termination Fee.' Seriously, what's with all the extra charges for a service I never had?
After calling them yet again (and enduring the usual one-hour wait), their excuse was that they had "already escalated the problem." Big deal! Clearly, they are all talk and no action.
It's been over two months since I first signed up and a month since I canceled, yet they keep pushing me to wait some more. Seriously, enough is enough! This company is an absolute joke, and their lack of accountability and customer care is unforgivable.
Take my advice: stay far, far away from Uniti Wireless. Spare yourself the headaches, the frustration, and the wasted time. Don't fall for their promises – they deliver nothing but disappointment.

Horrible customer service and policies in the company.
Was on hold over an hour and half when I wanted to cancel my line as I moved out, ended up hanging up the phone as I couldn’t wait any longer. You also need to give 30 days notice for canceling internet which is a ridiculous policy for an internet service that has no customer service.
The overall experience is terrible. I do not recommend whatsoever.

Finally got through to a technician after 2 hours. He was very polite and tried his best. Issue still not resolved but I now know someone is there who can help...albeit 4th attempt of between 1 and 3 hours of waiting on the line.

Their new customer onboarding process is not properly aligned. Other ISPs share username and password for PPPoE router settings as someone registers with them but not Uniti.
Uniti's technical customer care took 48 mins to connect and then they provided username and password over SMS. This will put anyone off who're the first time users of their services.
If they want customers to call for the user login details, they should clearly mention it in the initial email. Secondly, their call should connect within 5 mins for a better onboarding experience.

Dont waste your time or money
Absolute waste of time of company.
Having waited a whole year for my service to be actived, it then didn't work. So i proceeded to spend 11 hours on hold to their techinical support team who still didnt answer their phone.
Eventually got through to customer services at the 3rd time of trying and hours in queues who couldnt help or connect me to tecnical support so i decided to cancel.
That meant hours more on the phone - being told it would take up to a week to get a management decisions. I relented and eventually got to talk to a manager who was very dismissive of the issues, and insisted on charging an activation fee if I wanted to go ahead and cancel the service.
Will fight them all the way - will not be paying a cent, and would recomment nobody waste their time with this lot.
Oh - and the router they supplied looked like something you might pick up in the reject shop, so even if I had got a connection - no faith that it would have delivered a decent connection.
Back to Telstra for me...

There is an hour waisted I'll never get back! Filled out app, called and waited. Asked who carrier is they refused to say. Customer service said, Just fill out app, send bank info and then we will let you know if you qualify!! I think not.

I would strongly discourage anyone from using this internet provider as they are the worst. They only provide false promises and commitments without delivering anything. Moreover, despite claiming to address issues, they neither follow up with a phone call nor send an email confirmation. Their sole intention seems to be defrauding people. They are undoubtedly the worst internet provider. I have been attempting to contact them for the past 30 days, but there has been no resolution, callback, or any form of communication, except for a fraudulent bill they sent.

Update: if my review was incorrect one would expect a company rebuttal. Surely good customer service requires addressing complaints? If you do business with crooks you end up getting robbed.
Very minimal customer service
Very minimal customer service - any problems call the new business line and they will answer quickly but for service very slow. Offers to call back on a set date were missed by two days. They also raised my charges twice in about six months - the second time quietly with no notice and took a week to respond - I have moved to a new provider. I get the sense this company is 100% cash and 0% care.
