Is this toxic?
I worked at Unilever for over 15 years, when I quit I requested the rewards I earned by documenting quality catches. HR refused to pay out because I quit. In my opinion this is what you would call spite work.
Fairy Non Bio Washing Powder has blue…
Fairy Non Bio Washing Powder has blue granules in it. I've used the product for more years than I care to recall. Recently my underwear was stained with bluey/purple-ish spots and they can't be removed!!
I managed to track down the Proctor and Gamble customer services and made a report about this issue. I got a prompt response to my email but it was not helpful. I was treated to suggestions on how to wash my clothes and asked ridiculous questions as to how and where I washed my clothes ie by hand or machine. I believe the intention is to shift blame for a poor product onto the consumer. I wrote and told them my thoughts. They replied and were surprised I felt this way and have said I might like to try other Fairy Products 😧.
No further assistance with the problem.
According to the customer service person they are sending vouchers as a "goodwill gesture" with the added caveat that "not all retailers accept them ". Please think twice about what washing powder you use and how you use it!!
If I could give the company of Proctor and Gamble a minus rating I would do so.
Avoid working here! Jenny Taylor the Talent Partner will ghosts you
Probably the worst company you would want to work for. After having 2 interviews and presenting tasks, Jenny The talent acquisition partner has been ghosting me for weeks. No decency to update me with either feedback or where I stand in the hiring process, despite asking for ID for right to work. Such a shame a company works like this. They say they care about their employees when in reality they don’t.

Bring back Mexican snack pots
Why, oh why, did they discontinue the Mexican Snack Pot?
It was delicious and the best they ever made!
Personally think they didn't advertise well enough for them to become as popular as the old flavours.
Simple Cleanser
I have been using Simple cleanser for some time but the bottle I bought recently had about an inch missing from it. I contacted Unilever and they were happy to refund but wanted my bank details which I was not happy to provide on email.
I asked for a refund to be sent by post or vouchers but for some strange reason they could not do this.
Still in Russia, so banned from my house
By continuing to trade in Russia you are complicit in war crimes. I have now removed Persil, Comfort and Dove from my house .
Glorix Power 5 is a bad product.
Glorix Power 5 is a bad product.
2 out of 10 plastic holders break off rendering the block useless.
Contacting their customer service has no use. They only ask you to return the product but they will not refund or pay for shipping and exchange!
Don't buy Glorix power 5! You'll thank me for it. Buy a non Unilever Brand. Unilever has quality issues.

Magnum voucher ran out before 7 days expired, total scam, waste of my time and money.
They have become market leaders and…
They have become market leaders and actually they deserve it. They release so many products which simplify our daily life so it's pointless to accuse them of something. I judge from the perspective of a consumer, not an employee, and I'm glad that the society has such companies. Others would better thank them for being such a huge retail company, which always comes up with new stuff for consumers.
One of the industry giants without a…
One of the industry giants without a doubt. I mean, when you look at the broader picture, their products' reach is absolutely incredible. Take Dove soaps, take Lipton tea, take Ben & Jerry's ice cream, take hellman's mayonnaise and ketchups. If you are living in the modern world, it is a huge possibility that at some point in your any-given-day, you are using one of their products. Hard to list all of them here, but a lot of them are very nice.
Apart from the products which vary from country to country, if you look at the company overall, unilever cares about their commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing. In terms of their ESG score, they are working hard and making efforts to reduce their environmental footprint.
I can't say much about the food products but I like their Dove soaps. Whether its liquid soap or bar soaps, they are soft and they make my skin pretty soft as well. I also had my fair share of ben and jerrys ice cream which is a very good treat to have from time to time. lipton's ice tea's are pretty delicious too, even though i try to limit my canned beverage intake.
as a huge conglomerate, it is good to see that they care about the quality of their products, well afterall FMCG is a very competitive industry, so they need to be like that.
Bath Soak Lacks bubbles
Bath Soak Lacks bubbles. I have used Radox Muscle Soak for over 20years no and would not use any other bath bubble in the world. I am now finding the following issues since 2021 and its getting worse
1. The bubbles are no longer there and as a result i use the 500ml for 3 washes which means i ran out of my bubble soak every month. 3 weeks and its gone ( i have a bath once a week)
2. The no longer stock the 1lt which was a great bonus as it would have taken me at least through the month
Ofcom needs to check the bath soak and shower gels stocked in the shops to ensure they are the standard they should be. This is day light robbery and money is not easy to get, you budget with a bath soak for a month and 3 weeks later you are running around looking for another bottle
Regenerate toothpaste to restore tooth…
Regenerate toothpaste to restore tooth enamel:
1. It takes 6 weeks to reduce sensitivity but when I stopped using it the sensitivity returned quicklu.
2. Th annoying tube lid is covered in thin silcver stuck on paper which slowly flakes off all over my bathroom basin and floor. I can't buy this messiness again. Isn't this a compan6y employing scientists?
UNILEVER LYNX 48 hr and 72 hr DEODRANT
I've been purchasing Lynx deodorant 48 hr for many years which used to be a good product but then I started having many different problems, here is the list ;
1 leaving white marks
2 the cans didn't seem that full
3 leaking lid
4 a lot of air coming out before the spray did
5 the smell didn't last very long through the day
6 broken and/ or cracked lid
7 the 72 hr deodorant blistered under my arms
8 funny smell comes out when you spray, didn't smell like lynx
so I did the right thing I contacted Lynx 0800 585 204
and spoke to an adviser and was told to give the details of the cans I had problems with on the bottom of the can which I did, I gave my details as well as the problems, a few days later I received some vouchers through the door which did compensate my loss.
As you can see above, the list detailed different faults I was still purchasing the same 48hr and was still getting faulty cans so I continued to contact them and they sent yet more vouchers.
This continued over a long period of time and one day I was told that I wouldn't be receiving any more vouchers and maybe I should purchase another brand!! My response to this was they are aware of the problems and it should be rectified by now ! but I still get dodgy cans even when I purchase from a variety of stores so Lynx have yet to sort these issues out ..
but still it continues... I feel I should still receive the vouchers as I still have problems.
At this time I feel it is right to let everyone know and if they have the same issues as me then phone the number which is on the back of the can and report their findings.
Hopefully, one day, Lynx will get it sorted or they will continue to send out vouchers.
When you buy anything faulty you do get refunded !
I will await your response ...
Paul

UNILEVER,,,,What an obnoxious company
What an obnoxious, conceited company.
JUST CHECK ALL THE ONE STARS BELOW.
I bought a contaminated dried soup
Florida Spring Vegetable... it should be yellow / orangey but was really dark brown.
I contacted them, got no explanation as to why, just said they would pass it onto their production chefs as advisory. They wanted expiry date, where bought, how much and and bank details for a refund. THATS THE BEST PART, THEY OFFERED ME £00.10P YES TEN PENCE. Hein Schumacher says his most important goal as head of the company is Product promotion and quality, THATS A LAUGH, only been in the job since June 23, dont envisage him being the job long. You cant treat customers like DUNG.
PLEASE DO NOT BUY KNORR UNILEVER FOOD PRODUCTS, AS THE CONTAMINATION COULD BE RIGHT THROUGH ALL THEIR FOOD ITEMS, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
I have asked for an explanation but they refused so I am free to draw my own conclusions as to the suitability for consumption of ANY foods supplied by Unilever ( knorr ) products.
Please do not buy inferior contaminated
foods from KNORR unilever company

White Now - Blue teeth forever??
I bought a tube of Mentadent White Now toothpaste. It claims to be 96% natural. It appears to be 96% Copper phthalocyanine (CI74160) - an extremely potent synthetic industrial dye. It stained my teeth, mouth and even the sink dark blue. So not white! Perhaps OK if you are in Halloween costume but do you really want to consume this ? Is it safe? They won’t tell me. The world trade organisation forbids the use of this chemical in hair dye. So why is it in toothpaste?
I sent photos and a description to Unilever but clearly they are far too self important to respond. If I boycott them they won’t care but if we all boycott all their products perhaps they will start to listen
Ignorant, Rude, Condescending Recruiter.. Confusing job Ads.
My brother had applied for a job in Unilever's Covington TN warehouse. He applied on their website, on indeed and even dressed up and took his resume and interviewed with a recruiter in person at one of their recent job fairs and he said the interview went well. He was surprised to see so many people coming to the job fair with no resume and dressed in street wear and not business casual as he was. My brother also had over 10 years of experience. Unilever sent him an email notifying him he was not selected for the assembler position. But he had requested the line technicians position. He knew a person hired by Unilever who suggested he apply since he had more experience than the person hired on and already working out there. So I called and spoke to a Unilever recruiter to see if he was still under consideration for the line tech job and the woman was horrible. She was flippant, rude, and condescending. I also noticed she never gave her name. Unilever hires for two different positions in the exact same application so it gets confusing. This is why i checked to see if he was still being considered for the line techs role. Every single job I've worked at when I've answered a company phone I have to give my first name. I wish I knew who she was. She is a poor representative of the company. She was working in HR or as a recruiter.
Persil are not being fair to customers
Persil Liquid. Same sized large bottle which used to hold enough liquid for 60 washes, now holds 53 washes and the price has increased considerably. This equates to more plastic being used unnecessarily. Yet they try to say how good they are by reducing use of plastic by not issuing dispensers to anyone under any circumstances. This action is totally hypocritical.
However, what really annoys me is that they have marketed the liquid to put straight in the drum via a re-usable dispenser - thus avoiding a build up of gunge in the drawer and pipes leading down into the drum. Now they have removed free dispensers entirely, they suddenly tell you to use the washing machine drawer dispenser! This will possibly mean using more chemicals to clean these areas more frequently. I fully support removing the free dispenser on every bottle but they could make purchasing a dispenser for a nominal amount available. My mother, aged 96, after many years of using her old free dispenser now needs a replacement. Unilever/Persil do not offer this service at all and eBay (second hand) and Amazon want approximately £10 for one. I have now written to Persil suggesting several easy solutions for perhaps changing their current complicated designed lid to incorporate a dispenser solution. Meanwhile, I have also read in other reviews, the reduced amount of product in same sized containers is quite common with several other Unilever products.
Blatant marketing to enhance company profits doesn’t fool people. Hopefully, if customers walk away and sales fall, Unilever may have a rethink.
Dove deodorant price hike but massively reduced size.
Dove 250ml spray Deodorants. Unilever have hiked the price & reduced size to 200ml. Complete con. Won't be buying again.
