I've ordered research materials from Umbrella for at least the last couple of years. When I first began at-home research, I only knew about a few different products here and there, but the Umbrella site is HUGELY comprehensive and constantly adding new items. They maintain stock with more reliability than any other lab chems vendor, and their pricing is always competitive - then on TOP of the base pricing being reasonable, they offer automatic discounts at checkout depending upon the total dollar amount spent. Even more importantly, the quality control is probably what makes Umbrella the most trustworthy site for research materials on the market. They do lab testing on all of their products prior to listing them for sale, and in my experience, every item I've received has literally been shipped along with the lab report for that batch. Even if all of the above aspects weren't true, I would continue to be an Umbrella customer for the quality of their customer service team. Occasionally it takes a few days to hear back from an inquiry, but I also think it's a pretty tight operation - we're not ordering from Amazon here. Whenever I've had an issue, I've described it to the team and they've come back with fair and easy resolutions without exception. I've never once felt ripped off or taken advantage of, and that's rare in an industry where the vendor selection is small enough that you could be stuck with a TERRIBLE service experience if you're researching a material that's newer or that not many vendors carry yet. Overall, I shop with Umbrella with confidence (and regularity) and I am always forwarding their site link to friends that are also doing at-home research and want quality materials. And I don't know the names of the entire team, but shout out to Erika for being endlessly patient, always professional, and a person who is clearly committed to excelling in their work and taking care of customers.
