I stopped my subscription a year ago.
Then last week out of the blue, they took 180€ from my bank account.
Indeed the customer service is answering, but with no real answer. They first say they could not find my account, then they could find it but asked me why I wanted to leave - even if I did explain that I left A year ago - dragging the issue way longer than necessary and NEVER once explain where this charge came from. Nor took responsability for this mistake.
This is stealing.
Do not subscribe.

I paid 2 years ago to try them out. I used it for 1 week, and then forgot about it. They then try and deduct a huge deduction for the next 2 years. I contacted them and told them I am not using the service and do not want it. It is now cancelled, but showing that I am subscribed for another 2 years and due a payment. ie it is going to try debit my account for that amount continuously and take my account into the minus. I DO NOT HAVE MONEY FOR THIS AND I DO NOT WANT TO SUBSCRIBE

Beware this company are scammers. Unauthorised transaction from my account. I paid for 2 years and didn't renew but they charged me hundreds of pounds and caused me a great deal of stress.
Scammers! Do not sign up, they offer a good deal for a period which you think is everything. You pay for a period, then they sign you up to a subscription, THEY do that, you do not! You have no knowledge. They then charge quadruple what you agree to in the first instance. NEVER give your bank details to a U.S tech company
They just took money from my bank ! I had a service years ago but a one off payment ! They didn't even have my bank details for a direct debit and my card has been changed! Do not give them any details, anything at all ! I have gone to my bank and reported as fraud. DO NOT TRUST , DO NOT USE.

Tried to take almost €170 from my bank account even though I cancelled long ago. My bank reported it as suspicious activity.
I emailed them and they said they couldn't find an account linked to my email address. If that's the case, why try money from me?

I’ve been using Ultra VPN for a few months now, and it’s been working really well for me. Setup was super easy just downloaded it, logged in, and hit connect. That’s it. The connection is usually fast, and I don’t really notice a drop in speed, which is great for streaming and browsing

Part of the blame is definitely on me because I forgot to check and monitor my subscription but anyways. I had an account with Kaspersky a couple years ago before they switched to UltraVPN. I got an alert from my bank that they blocked a $99.99 charge to my credit card. After logging in to my account there was no option to remove my card, only update it, and no option to cancel my membership. I checked their FAQs and talked to an AI chatbot, and they both said there is a "Membership" button to click on to remove, which is completely false. I then talked to a rep via chat and proceeded to have a 15 minute conversation of constantly telling him I do not want any offers and to just close my account. It honestly would've been faster to just cancel and get a new card than deal with support, but I also didn't want to update my card information on other accounts
I purchased ultravpn through a coupon code via groupon inc. for 20 $ on 05 january 2024. I registered on their website and they asked for my credit card information to activate my license (trap of course) I used their service which I was not pleased with . But after a year they charged me on my credit card with 169,89 $ . I immediatly contacted them and they asked for so many questions of like when I purchased it what the last digits of my card was etc. etc. Finally they claimed they found the transaction and they charged me another 168.89$. they wrote to me that they were sorry and they would refund me my money in 5 to 10 days. now 15 more days passed and still no refund. I of course cancelled my credit cardç Now wish you to help get my money back as I cannot afford it
Garbage. I couldn't connect to anything. It disabled my DNS and it wants to take over with its own settings.

Did my best to sign up without auto renew but got billed one year later. They were prompt to tell me they would cancel my membership and refund my money but nearly one month and multiple emails later still no refund. Be careful.
Addendum: I did finally get my refund. It took more than a month.

Fraud and a scam
Have taken payments from my dad’s account who doesn’t even know what a vpn is. I wouldn’t blame the company but from other review it seems like they are very questionable
