100% scammer
100% scammer. Avoid ! This is NOT a legitimate locksmith company , basically this is just 1 guy with a drill! Not even a proper company
Turned up in an ordinary private car not a van with his wife driving , an hour and half late for the appointment blaming it on an accident!
Truth is , they are not local despite being called local locksmith services , they are based in London but will pretend on the phone that they are local!
Foreign guy turned up with a drill and just drilled the lock out then demanded another £100 to replace the lock which I didn't pay , so he left it unsecured!
Demanded payment by bank transfer, massively overcharged and trying to look at my bank details on my phone whilst trying to make the transfer .
Had to get a legitimate professional locksmith out the next day to complete the job.
His mobile number is 07725531730 and also has a fake website! Have reported to trading standards and he's now under investigation.
Be warned ....Do not use this scammer!
Tripled the price for 10 minute work
Jokers!!! Avoid
My partner rang as our front door won’t open, unlocked or locked, was told by the advisor on the phone no problem we can do the job for you, a locksmith came out to have a look, advised that no, he couldn’t do that as too big of a job and charged us £49 for a call out fee for a job he couldn’t even do yet we was told otherwise?! He didn’t even touch the door
Please avoid Local Locksmith Services Ltd
Please avoid Local Locksmith Services Ltd at all costs! I agree with the previous review. I've been scammed too. Quoted the call out charge as £89 and the lock was £150. But when it came to paying he added another £220 for the "back of the lock". I feel robbed and stupid. I did not have a good feeling, especially when his wife drove up in a fancy VW with the following registration LG07 RRX.
Absolute scammers!!
Absolute scammers!!
On the phone told us it will cost £120 to open a banham lock.
When the technician (creepy guy) came over - he said it will cost £120 + VAT was just ‘call out charge’. Before we could even tell him well this is not what we were told. He proceeded to drill a hole and the door was open in 2 seconds.
He then said the full charge is £339 + VAT (£406.80). Since he had opened the door and he knew where we lived - we paid him to get him off our property. We have since been calling the company to get an invoice and no one is picking the phone.
Please do not use them at all.
Worst company I have ever used
Worst company I have ever used. Left the place looking like a break in. And charged me £200
Charged £699 to change a lock
Charged £699 to change a lock - please avoid this scamming company.
Would rate minis stars if I could
Would rate minis stars if I could.
Had to call 3 times, was told 3 different things each time. Communication is dreadful and website is misleading as they cannot guarantee someone within 30mins!
When locksmith did eventually call me, I managed to get another company who do actually keep to their word! DO NOT USE!!
Total Rip Off Stay Away!
If your in Southampton stay well away from this rip off company. They charged us over £500 for a £300 job and wanted to charge more.

Alex was very quick to come to our rescue, perfect job, reasonable price, second time I've used him would highly recommend.
Thank you Alex. Xx
Rang up and was quoted £50 plus parts…
Rang up and was quoted £50 plus parts and half an hour to arrive which seemed reasonable as it was a Sunday.
The locksmith chose a French door at the back which had a key in it inside. It took several drill bits and a few scratches on the chrome handle but he got in after about 25 minutes. The disappointment came when payment was discussed and before we knew it, the charge had rocketed to £223! The locksmith said that it was a tough door with drill bits used...fair enough. Then a call out fee, then the new lock and then the charge for fitting it. Like the previous review, the cost of the lock (which took minutes to install) was huge. He said it was a bonafide lock and this was why it was so costly. We paid because we felt unable to query at that point. When my husband looked up the price of the locks we were shocked.
When I e-mailed the manager to get some clarification, he just said that they don't charge shop prices! Absolutely awful service. The locksmith did call me back and explained that there are numerous overheads and he gets only a fraction of what we pay. He was trying to get me to see it from his side. Basically we felt ripped off and very annoyed. We are seeking help from our bank.
Also feel ripped off
Also feel ripped off. Was quoted a call out of £45 plus repairs from £20. Just had to change a barrel. £20-30 in a diy store. Job took 2min and was charged £170. Would have done it myself but going away tomorrow. Should have been maximum £100. Please avoid.
Excellent
Lost my keys tonight Contacted them, they sent someone out within 45 minutes of contact, supplied and fitted a new door lock with 3 keys for £158 which thought was reasonable given the time frame, all prices explained upfront and workers were friendly and approachable
Don’t use
Don’t use. Goes under website name of ‘locksmith 4 all’. My back door lock had jammed, but it wasn’t urgent as I have a second back door, so called them as a non urgent customer. They arrived on time and then wanted a call out fee of £49, plus £89 for Labour, plus a new lock and barrel. After I argued the £49 he still wanted £482. Although he arrived at 8am and removed the lock, he told me that he couldn’t replace it until the next day, which meant that my back door could not be locked. And he wanted half the money upfront.
I paid the £89 and rang a local locksmith and he said that I was being ripped off. He is coming around today (same day) and he said that it shouldn’t be more than £100.
Never never use these guys
Locallocksmiths4all are complete charlatans, please please do not use them! The guy who came to us to mend a lock, not only changed it unnecessarily (and put it in upside-down) but then broke (sabotaged) a number of other parts of the door telling us that the problem was actually the door mechanism that would cost £1000 to repair. We only discovered what he had done when we got suspicious, cancelled him and contacted another locksmith who was able to show us exactly the damage he had done. He has caused us unnecessary cost and we are unlikely to see back the £100 we had paid up front!! Avoid this organisation like the plague!!
Appalling service !! DO NOT USE
I have never been so appalled by a service in all my life!! This is a scam! Do not use this service. They have damaged my front door so bad that I now have to buy a new one. When I have tried to make a complaint the email bounces back and when I phoned up they told me that it was, and I quote… “the most ridiculous thing they’d ever heard”, and then put the phone down on me! They have robbed me of £104 and I will be taking this further as a legal matter. Please save yourself money and stress and DO NOT USE!

Called out to grant access to a property with keys locked in, scammed a 9 month pregnant woman out of £240 (initial quote of £320) for what I've now been told was a £49/£89 job at most with lock change. I hope people see this that are in emergency situation and realise it's best to stay local and avoid these guys
Bascially ripped off
I cannot believe this company, was told not expensive then when he turns up you are asked to pay £340 or if they do the damage then over £400. I cannot believe I even agreed to it and feel so totally ashamed that I let myself get ripped off in this way. They should not be allowed to run a business. Not right to treat women this way knowing they are not able to argue. Told a story but then took no more than a minute to basically break in with no damage. Do not use !!
