Paddy is a real trader helping ordinary people like me make money from gold
I discovered Paddy on Insta, while reviewing other so called traders. Thankfully after a period of due diligence I decided to learn gold trading strategies from Paddy - UKDT. I started with an online level 1 strategy and decided in person would work better for me for both Level 2 & 3. I highly recommend meeting Paddy in person, you recieve a fountain of knowledge on Gold trends, how to react to news, recommendations on how to approach the strategies, mindset and how to obtain prop funding.
Once you have undertaken each level of training, there are support groups and regular online review sessions with Paddy. Its a supportive community. From my perspective I came from Crypto to Paddy with the mindset of taking my time, learn the market and demo before jumping into funded accounts which has helped reduce the urge to take risky trades.
If you are looking for a real down to earth trader with real profitable strategies that 100% work, Paddy is your man!

I’m glad you took your time, did your due diligence and made sure UKDT was the right fit before jumping in. That’s exactly how it should be done, especially in an industry where there’s a lot of noise and not always much honesty.
It’s been great working with you through the different levels, both online and in person. Face-to-face training does make a big difference for a lot of people, as we can properly break things down, go through the finer details and make sure everything is understood clearly.
I’m especially pleased you mentioned mindset, patience and demo trading. Coming from crypto, it would have been easy to rush into funded accounts or start forcing trades, but you’ve approached it the right way — taking your time, learning the market and building confidence before risking anything serious.
The support groups and review sessions are there because I don’t believe people should be left on their own once the training is done. Trading is a journey, and having the right people around you makes a massive difference.

Paddy is the most genuine person I have come across in an industry filled with crooks. I’m happy that I’ve made the decision to learn the strategies, the community is there to help with any questions you require, paddy openly allows student to sit in for a refresher on any of the courses on top of replying to any personal messages. This guy just wants to help improve people’s lives.

Comments like this mean a lot because trust is something that has to be earned, especially in the trading industry. Unfortunately, there are far too many people out there selling dreams and making promises they can't back up, so hearing that you've found UKDT different is something I'm really proud of.
I'm pleased you've enjoyed learning the strategies and making use of the community. One thing I've always believed is that the learning shouldn't stop when the course finishes. That's why the refresher sessions, webinars and group support are there. Everyone learns at a different pace, and sometimes hearing something for a second or third time is what makes it click.
The community deserves a lot of credit as well. We've got some fantastic people in there who are always willing to help, share ideas and support each other, which makes a huge difference when you're learning to trade.
At the end of the day, you're right – my goal has always been to help people improve their situation, whether that's becoming a better trader, gaining more confidence, or simply having a skill that gives them more options in life.

A great community built within a lonely industry.
I’m not one for writing reviews but thought that UKDT was deserving of the short time it would take to write this review. So… why are they deserving of not only a review but a 5 star review? From the first phone call with Paddy I have received everything that was promised. I have done all 4 courses and can say that they are taught in a way that is easy to put into practice and can be backtested to build your confidence in his strategies. The reason for the 5 stars is due the support after the training and the community that has been created by UKDT. You can ask any question at any time and the community members are fast to respond and give their support. There have also been several occasions where I have had wanted confirmation from Paddy himself and have messaged him directly, each time he has responded quickly with the answers I needed. There was one occasion at the beginning of my training I thought I’d potentially misunderstood something that had been taught and sent paddy a short message asking for him to call me, again this was not too much trouble and it wasn’t long before receiving a call from Paddy himself. UKDT has done a fantastic job in not only building a community but in making sure that you feel cared for as an individual. Thank you and keep up the good work UKDT!

What stood out to me most was your comment about receiving everything that was promised from that very first phone call. That's always been important to me. I'd much rather be honest about what trading involves and what people can realistically expect than sell a dream that doesn't exist.
I'm really pleased you've enjoyed all four levels and found the strategies easy to put into practice. However, as you've rightly pointed out, the training is only one part of it. The support and community side of UKDT is what makes it special. Being able to ask questions, get feedback and have people around you who genuinely want to see you succeed can make a huge difference on what can otherwise be quite a lonely journey.
Thank you as well for mentioning the direct support. If someone is stuck or unsure about something, I'd always rather they ask than sit there second-guessing themselves. Sometimes a quick message or a short phone call can save weeks of frustration.

I came across paddy and ukdadtrader…
I came across paddy and ukdadtrader 18mths ago along with my son. For awhile we sat on the fence within the group chat room reading the stories and close community that was going on. Fast forward 10mths I we paid and got onto a live level 1 seminar where there was others doing a refresher course. Once you paid you can revisit as much as you require,Paddy makes the lesson very simple and explained in very great detail. There is a lot of information and can feel over whelmed but that’s where the each individual group chat comes into play because the back up service from paddy the group and of course Laura is outstanding. You have to participate and show your work everyone is here to help you succeed. This isn’t a copy and paste group. You have to put the work in.through your involvement things become better. Like any good builder will tell you which paddy is, it’s all about the foundation being proper and solid and that’s what you get from paddy and the groups. I’ll looking forward to the next levels later this year. It's been great having both you and your son as part of the community. I know you spent a good amount of time sat on the fence before taking the plunge, which is exactly why I always encourage people to join the free group first, ask questions and get a feel for the community before making any decisions.
You're absolutely right about the foundations. Anyone who's worked in construction knows that if the foundations aren't right, everything built on top of them is at risk. Trading is no different. That's why so much of the early training focuses on understanding the basics properly and building good habits from the start.
I also appreciate you mentioning the support from Laura, the team and the wider community. One thing we've always tried to create is an environment where people can ask questions without feeling judged and get help when they need it. The people who tend to progress the quickest are usually the ones who get involved, share their charts and aren't afraid to ask for feedback.
Most importantly, you've hit the nail on the head when you say this isn't a copy-and-paste signals group. The goal has always been to teach people how to become independent traders and understand what they're looking at, rather than relying on someone else forever.

UK Dad Trading has been great for teaching me all they have in regard to trading. I started trading prior to coming across this group and was constantly losing money. I joined the group and read the chats and saw how much support the other members would give you and decided this was the place. If you are in a position where you want to get started or where you want to get better you should come into the chats and see what its about. I managed to get this to work around my job and only this strategy has managed to do that from the multiple that I have tried.
The team and community will help guide and support you but as with any trading this is down to your own discipline and determination as to if you make it work or not. They can only lead you to it then you have to trade following the rules and thats the hard part. But with Paddy you can share your trades and he can show you what your doing right and wrong and hopefully rectify the issues before it becomes a problem.

I think you've summed up the journey that many traders go through. A lot of people come to UKDT after trying different methods and finding themselves stuck in a cycle of losing money or not really understanding why they're taking trades in the first place.
What I'm most pleased about is that you've found a way to make trading fit around your job and your lifestyle. Not everyone can sit in front of charts all day, so having a structured approach that works alongside everyday commitments is really important.
You've also made a great point about discipline. The strategy can only take you so far – the real challenge is sticking to the rules consistently, especially when emotions get involved. That's why I always encourage members to share their trades and ask questions. Sometimes a small tweak or a different perspective is all that's needed to get someone back on track.
The community deserves a lot of credit too. We've got some fantastic people in there who are always willing to help, and that's something I'm incredibly proud of.

I'd only dabbled in trading before
I'd only dabbled in trading before, never really knowing what I was doing, when I came across UK Dad Trader on Instagram. From the moment I got involved I found everything incredibly helpful — the community, the support and most importantly the strategies themselves, which are clear, well structured and genuinely work when you follow them properly.
My biggest struggle has honestly been the discipline side of things — staying out of trades that don't meet the rules is harder than it sounds! But what I've found is that Paddy doesn't just teach you the strategy, he teaches the discipline that goes alongside it, and that's been just as valuable for me. It's something he comes back to regularly and it's clicked more and more over time.
I'm now at a point where I feel comfortable identifying valid setups and taking trades using the strategy with confidence. Still a work in progress, but I'm getting there and I know the support is always there when I need it.
Would absolutely recommend UKDT to anyone thinking about getting into trading properly.

It’s been great watching your progress since you first came across UK Dad Trader. Like a lot of people, you came in having dabbled a bit but without a proper structure, so it’s brilliant to see how much more confident you’ve become with identifying the right setups and understanding when to stay out of the market as well.
You’ve also nailed one of the biggest parts of trading — discipline. The strategy is one thing, but having the patience to only take the right trades is what makes the real difference. That side of it takes time, but you’re clearly putting the work in and it’s starting to show.
Keep doing what you’re doing, keep trusting the rules, and keep building that confidence. You’re definitely heading in the right direction.

the experience has been nothing short of a great education for me ,whilst i am still learning and managing to make a small amount of money along the way to hopefully retire and full time trade ,
I have met with paddy for a full day doing level 3 , hes is a honest guy and explains everything very well ,i would have no problem to recommend these courses.
you will need patience and some spar time to make it work .

Course.
What an eye opener when learning from someone who actually knows about trading.
Great experience on the day, friendly and very helpful, both Paddy and Kyle go above and beyond on the day, plus any questions after and very helpfully.
Overall great course and good insight on trading rather then all these scamming telegram groups offering signals.
If trading is what you would consider doing this is where you need to start and grow your skills. Plus they offer free refresher course for on line

I have found the groups to be very informative. when in doubt about things there is always someone on hand to explain it in more detail weather that be paddy or someone in the group chat. The webinars are top notch you can discuss what your struggling with and paddy will go through it with you and show you where you went wrong. I’ve had a one on one call with a member of paddy’s team and i learnt where I was going wrong Kyle went into detail and showed me. Wow, just thinking about it, I am one of the longer members of ukdadtrader, Im sure I joined when there was less than a hundred others, about May 2023 I think
Paddy and Laura have worked so hard to evolve the group and boy has it done so, in the three years there has been some big changes with technology and new levels to learn, but one of the constants is Paddy’s openness and honesty, he tells you how it is, from my perspective I have never felt forced or scammed by him, there is no fake dream sale here
The lessons are informative and well structured, with opportunity to go over things, ask questions etc, there is also regular webinars which Paddy offers to help understanding at no extra charge
The community is always friendly, some have sought to advance it by bringing their IT skills to the table, which can be embraced or left, again no pressure
One thing I have noticed about trading is being disciplined, this is something Paddy regularly talks about, some in the community do struggle with this, others seem to control it well
From a win rate perspective, Paddy regularly shows clear evidence of profits and no one in the group contests this which says it all
If you are thinking of joining up and taking the plunge then I would certainly recommend, or at least join the general group, post some questions and find out for yourself

A great trading strategy and support community
I started my journey with Paddy back in October 2025. I found his page on instagram, reached out to him directly, got added to the general chat forum and once comfortable engaged in learning the L1 and L2 strategies on Gold in a 2 day face to face workshop.
Firstly, the face to face training is excellent with Paddy, over the 2 days every step of the strategy is explained in great detail, you get to complete set up's yourself with guidance and execute trades on demo accounts. At no point are you forced into spending money opening either privately funded accounts or to pay for prop firm challenges. Its demo, demo, demo all the way. You are taught a trading strategy, its your own individual choice on what steps you take next but the guidance from Paddy and the team is demo until you fully understand the strategy and never use your own money, always through a legitimate prop firm.
Secondly, the post training support is spot on. You get added to specific telegram groups that has people in it that had completed that particular level. Everyone helps out if you have a question or query and it really fosters a team spirit and most of all TRUST!
With Paddy's training I have passed 2 prop firm challenges and i started with zero trading knowledge.
If you understand that to be profitable you need patience and that it is not a get rich quick scheme then I cannot recommend UK Dad Trader enough.

Probably the most genuine mentoring I…
Probably the most genuine mentoring I have come across since I started trading 8 years ago, I had some successes prior to joining UKDT but always found I was on the side of luck more than anything. I came across paddy via instagram.
I attended the in person level 1 & 2 and found it quite straightforward to transition into this strategy.
It is a rules based system so you can only trade when the trading environment is valid and is not a trade everyday kind of system.
I have solidly backtested this with a 98.1% win rate across 2025.
and after demoing for over a month, I’m happy to say I am confident to go for a funded account.
I found paddy and the others nothing but straightforward, active and helpful in the groups and never felt I was left to myself to get on with it.
Consistent help from other members also.
Hands down the best decision trading wise to join UKDT

I’ve been a member of UKDT for around five months, and I wanted to wait before leaving a review so I could give an honest opinion based on real experience.
So far, I’ve found it to be one of the most genuine and effective ways to learn trading. I’ve tried other approaches in the past, but the rule-based structure used here brings much more clarity and consistency. The support has also been excellent throughout. One thing I particularly value is the strong emphasis on backtesting the system yourself. Not only does this help prove that the strategy works, but it also builds confidence and sharpens your trading skills over time.

Uk Dad trader has provided trading education to me, unlike any other trader has in the past. The strategies are very clear and easy to learn and there is complete transparency. Difficulties arise due to trading psychology and personal trading appetite, not due to the strategies themselves. Uk Dad trader provides ongoing support via group sessions free of charge once the initial payments for the separate strategies is purchased, and there are many like-minded, skilled, amazing traders to assist as well with any ongoing questions you may have. How I literally struck gold!
Where do you start when writing a review of something that has irrevocably changed your perspective on life? I would imagine that you, the person reading this review, might find what I say next to be too good to be true, but I want to strenuously assure you it is, and if you are in any doubt whatsoever, simply join the UK Dad Trader free telegram group and sit back and observe for yourself. For the record- I am in no way affiliated with Paddy or his wife or his business partner Kyle. I was lucky enough to stumble across UK Dad Trader on Instagram and clicked a button that said I was interested in learning more about how to trade gold. I'd never traded at all and had no understanding of the markets or how to trade. Paddy messaged me and invited me to join his free telegram group which I did. I just watched from the sidelines for a while, seeing for myself that his community of traders were having successes using the strategies they had learned. Eventually, after realising Paddy was the real deal, I did my Level 1 Gold Trading Strategy online with Paddy. I am by no means particularly intelligent but I found the strategy to be very simple and straightforward to learn. Having since backtested the strategy, I can confirm the win rate is very high. That however is not the best part of what's on offer. If you choose to take the leap and join the group, you will be met with other like-minded UK adults like yourself who are on the road to transforming not only their own lives, but those of their friends, family and loved ones. I am absolutely delighted to tell you that if you follow in my footsteps and learn to trade with Paddy, it is undoubtedly going to change your fortune. It’s been brilliant watching your progress from knowing absolutely nothing about trading to now having the confidence and understanding you do today. More importantly though, you’ve embraced the process properly, stayed patient and put the work in behind the scenes, and that’s why you’re seeing the results you are.
The community side of things is exactly what we wanted to build from day one, just normal people helping each other improve and grow together without all the fake guru nonsense that’s everywhere online now.

Complete Novice
Came to Uk dad trader as a complete novice, never traded in any capacity. felt like a fish out of water for a few weeks,
Once i started to get to grips with the strategy, and started backtesting the rules i had been taught, i went on to demo accounts and further tested which gave me the confidence to go live.
You have to make the effort and put in the work, but the support is there, whether through dedicated groups on telegram, or through online webinars and revisiting lessons, which are free once you have completed the first one.
I went on to continue my training with UKdadtrader, as I wanted to learn more, this is completely optional, but for me its was a evolution of my trading journey.
I have felt from day one that, any question i have asked has been explained and reexplained until i got it.
You have to be disciplined and stick by the rules, i personally have made some very good profit.
All in all very happy with the money i have invested in my training, and would happily recommend to any one wishing to start there trading journey.

I have had the pleasure of doing in…
I have had the pleasure of doing in person training over two days in January this year and found it to be brilliant. Very interesting and Paddy was patient, very easy to get on with from the off and very very knowledgable . I have since gone on to take further online courses and found them to be of high a standard . I have not regretted a single moment since I joined the telegram groups either because in them you have a very helpful group of like minded people supporting and helping each other as we go forward . Paddy is always keeping an eye on everyone and checking in with the groups on all levels and will always help if you need support . There is no BS with Paddy and he tells it like it is when needed . He is honest about what to expect and who to trust in this industry as he has been there and done it. I would recommend ukdadtrader to anyone it gives you a chance to learn a skill for life with a trusted team . If you don't believe me check out the website and the Telegram group, you can join the main group and see the chats and if you decide you can sign up for a course, never any hard sell or pressure that's when you know it's genuine . I am learning all the time and i can't say enough positive things about the group support. He also has a great team in Laura and Kyle to help out with any questions you have regarding course information . If you are thinking about it just do it you won't regret it check them out .

UK Dad Trader, faultless experience.
UK Dad Trader is a genuine business. They charge a fee to learn about their trading techniques. These techniques, categorised by levels, have been invaluable to me. I have learned so much about the market and Paddy’s (owner) methods, in my experience, have proven to be profitable.
Paddy and the other members are always on hand to answer any questions. THIS IS NOT A SCHEME WHERE YOU PAY YOUR MONEY AND SAY GOODBYE. The help is ongoing and all of my queries have been answered promptly (I’m months in now).
I have no complaints. Worth every penny and the information/learning experience is genuinely brilliant. I’d implore anyone, with an interest in trading gold, to learn through UKDT.

Leon, thanks for taking the time to leave this mate, really appreciate it.
It’s been good seeing your progress over the months and watching your confidence grow with the trading. You’ve put the time in properly, asked questions when needed and actually listened to what was being taught instead of trying to rush it, which is where most people go wrong in trading.
What you said about the support means a lot as well because from the very start I never wanted UKDT to be one of these places where people pay and then get left on their own. That’s why we still do the webinars every week, let people resit the levels, and keep the groups open daily so people can ask questions and help each other.
It’s also been quality teaching both you and your dad. Not many father and son combos come into trading together 😂 but seeing you both do well and understand the markets properly has been brilliant to watch. Credit to both of you because neither of you expected it to be easy and you both put the work in.
I think people looking into trading need to understand there’s no magic button in this game. The levels are there to build people up step by step so they actually understand what they’re doing and why they’re doing it. The people who usually do best are the ones who stay patient, keep learning and don’t mind asking for help when they need it.
