Really good reliable service

Booking and travelling on 3 different trains and 2 changes across 4 countries could not have gone more smoothly

Enjoyed travelling, fast, quick, clean and a professional service, and would you believe the trains left and arrived on time !

We travelled from Paris to Amiens and again Paris to Vernon with 2 young children, no problem at all. Very fast and efficient service.

My only complaint is that what I was sent included a whole lot of material irrelevant to my order. I had simply purchased a One-Country Interrail Pass for Romania, but I was sent lots of information about rail travel in France, and no information about rail travel in Romania.

Paris Austerlitz station at night is not the most welcoming of places.
It was with some relief when the platform was opened and we could board the train.
Now call me naïve, but I always thought European trains were classy, slick, state of the art? This particular train most certainly was not.
The coaches (we thought) were numbered in sequence...nah!
My wife and I had booked a couchette, for some reason ours was the top of the three bunks, we really struggled up there along with our suitcases, it was not really us, with four total strangers and not enough room to swing a cat. We moved out and spent the whole journey in the recliner chairs, where it was quiet but very chilly.
The train reached Nice Ville one hour later than scheduled (though I believe that was to do with the torrential downpour on the Riviera throughout the night)
All in all disappointing, perhaps I expected too much!
But I will never again moan about any British railway franchise/train carriage etc We (Britain) don't realise how well we have it.

Had an excellent time- only spoiled a little by constantly having to pay out extra for fast trains or to compulsory reservation of seats

dutch railway staff very polite when we inadvertently sat in 1st. ontime and punctual service.

I sent a request for help to Voyages SNCF three days ago. I gave a ref no and received and acknowledgement. Three days later I have still not had a response. British Midland replied within hours- that is Customer Service- your "Customer Service" is a joke- or would be if I was not waiting on a response! Anne McCann

I had reservations about travelling by rail from UK to mainland europe, however, the experience was a good one overall. Its a long time to sit on trains travelling hundreds of miles but SNCF simplified the process by supplying tickets and connections in advance.

I needed to meet my daughter in Beaune, France. Booking all my train tickets from St Pancras International to Beaune could not be easier. Timetables easy to read for connections and tickets posted to me in advance, took the worry of buying tickets along the way as I had to change stations at Paris via the metro for the Gare de Lyon to connect with train to Dijon and then connect with train to Beaune, Would recommend if only to get the tickets in advance.

This is the way to travel! 480 miles in about three hours of space and comfort with good facilities and at a very good price. Beats flying anytime.

You need to know your way around the Paris Metro but for us it was only two stops from Gare du Nord to our departure station. The metro was packed like sardines but we got there in good time.

For the last four years we have travelled to Spain by Train. Once to Alicante and three times to Sitges.
The fact there is an excellent web site, SNCF, it makes it easy for me to cut out the middle man...travel agent, and book the journey myself, which helps budget better.
Sandie and I, have always found the train service from Eurostar, SNCF and Rodiales, excellent , on time and a very regular service.

Travelled from Paris to Marseille. Toilets stunk a bit. Overall the journey was a good one. Reliable time and quality of travel good. As yet we haven't travelled in a lower class fare I am not sure of what it is like, but it doesn't seem as though there is a lot extra you get for paying quite a lot more money.

it's was horrible journey. because the train line was closed because of refugees, but Voyages SNCF didn't notice any information by email or text and also didn't mention anything at the station as well. It was so horrible journey. i felt like i'm a one of refugee. some of the staff said that "If you want to cross the border, take a cab or walk." That's insane advice to another route. However, i met one of good staff, he was let me know how to go to vienna another route. I was so disappointed your working system.

I have used this service several times over the past couple of years and find it to be reliable and prompt. The trains are comfortable and clean, they run to time and compared to similar length journeys on UK railways are very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend the service.

Everything was excellent, easy to book and the journey was pleasant.
It is however important to allow sufficient time if changing trains on a longer journey. I had 1 ½ hour to change from one TGV to another but the first train was delayed as it had run in to an animal. Not enough really on this occasion. But, luckily my connection waited for ½ hour.......
That IS service.

One complaint - the state of some of the toilets on the trains. Some very dirty. Sorry.

We traveled from Lyon to Lille. Double decked trains, in theory make absolute sense, but the entrance to the carriages was restricted and for someone with even a minor walking disabilty it was difficult to get up or down the internal carriage steps, especially when trying to manipulate a suitcase.

Although the journey was delightfully fast once inside and settled the leg room was restricted (and that is with an only 31 inch inside leg measurement)

We purchased tickets from London to Paris, Barcelona and back. The service was very helpful and we were given choices of trains and prices. Tickets were delivered promptly. A very easy way to book long distance tickets and SNCF would certainly by my first choice for booking European tickets again.
