We travelled by train from Madrid to Malaga. Very impressed by the quality. Would certainly use the trains again, far better than hours at an airport.

Travelled from Paris to Montpellier and Perpignan to Paris on TGV trains were on time, clean and comfortable.
We like to travel on the upper deck when possible.
Book early to get best prices.

First journey was comfortable and,the stewardess brought a drink and,vary basic snacks to me. Helpful friendly steward. Then, at other stations people got on and,sat in club class seats that they hadn't booked which caused upset to other passengers whose seats had been taken,this seemed to be the norm so,the supposed relaxing journey was quite disturbing. With cross words and,people constantly moving seats.
There were no snacks or,drinks included during the return journey,I was asked to pay for my coffee and,was told that this was normal for a Saturday?. I don't remember seeing the detail when I booked the ticket.
Next time,I will use the ordinary train and,take snacks with me.

We find the TGV is the best and most relaxing way to travel to the south coast of France.

Booking in person at SNCF's London office was both friendly and efficient.
Eurostar trains appeared a little tired and old in comparison with the TGV from Zurich to Paris which was very smooth, quiet and comfortable. Food was variable on the various journeys, disappointing in first class from Paris to Milan whilst I believe there was service at your seat in first class on the TGV train.
The train from Milan to Zurich (Tuesday 29th September) suffered a technical problem, making it late, however the Swiss very efficiently redirected us to ensure we made out connection in Zurich.

I found the service excellent. Smooth system for booking tickets, collection of tickets and travel on the trains.
Would highly recommend the service.

A good except travel through France . The French very unhelpful nobody willing to assist , A nightmare at Lyon due to a cruise company taking over the whole platform of tourists with excess of luggage pushed us completely out if the way and buried our cases after throwing them around the coach , we ended up badly bruised and upset , they had no consideration for our age , will not use this again

The booked train was joined at Geneva, and left on time for Paris. Had a snack from the buffet, and enjoyed the scenery as we travelled through the Jura Mountains to the west of Geneva. A little snooze, and then we were on the outskirts of Paris, arriving on time. The only problem was getting a ticket for the Metro to get to Gare du Nord for the Eurostar. Maybe you should sell these at the buffet, like they do on Eurostar. I also had to book the Swiss leg of my journey separately - why can't you do that for me, as part of the whole package? It would make things so much easier. There are no such hassles when booking flights!

Easy to book. Great service

I really enjoy riding SNCF TGV. Lille to Avignon and back. First class. Seats amazing, smooth, Grand Vitesse. But.....this customer needs more information en route. What speed are we doing? Where exactly on the route are we? At Lyon 28/9/15 we were 20 minutes late from Avignon.....that's OK but WHY is interesting.........same trip.......arrived Lille 60 minutes late and transferred to commuter lines........OK....somebody had cut through wires and fouled up the whole rail system.......but at that point we didn't know WHY we were running late......or how it would affect our forward journey to St. Pancras on Eurostar a connection we would miss.......What would this mean? Would there be another connection? Do we actually need to be concerned? INFORMATION IS EVERYTHING.....It eases the mind and enhances the journey...When we arrived at Lille all these fears were easily dealt with. SNCF knew this would be so..........but we didn't. The announcement "We apologise for our late arrival at Lille and wish you a pleasant evening" over the in train sound system was definitely inadequate.
Better "We apologise ..etc etc. Passengers booked on the 17.36 Eurostar for St. Pancras should book in as usual and will be transferred to a later train" would have an amazingly calming effect.
So..............more clear ongoing onboard information regarding speed, location, reason for delays, connection reorganisation for ongoing travellers would be ideal, and how about an at table meal a la l'Eurostar Standard Premier for first class passengers? A superb touch All these details would make the clean, beautifully designed trains the ultimate travel experience.

Great trip, trains on time, clean and extremely comfortable

Press reports suggest that if you book through the English language website you pay more than through the French version. If this is true, it is a scandal.

I used voyages SNCF to plan our interrail trip. The global pass tickets were easy to purchase and I was able to reserve tickets very easily on the website. There were a couple of trips for which reservations weren't available however I signed up for email alerts. The emails were sent promptly, as were all the ticket reservations. I was completely happy with the website, online service and prompt despatch of tickets. I would use this service again.

High speed service in very comfortable seating (pre-booked), taking just under 6 hours and to time. Time flew by - as did scenery - but would recommend this as the way to travel into this busy city.
Buffet car was well placed to accommodate refreshments.
Boarding at Malaga meant joining queue until platform was opened - approx. 20 minutes before departure.
Would definitely repeat this experience!

Our experience in boarding the train was extremely stressful with poor seat numbering and inadequate luggage space, all exacerbated by other stressed passengers. Our booked seats were not as expected, facing backwards and, being in the lower tier, offering little in the way of view. Not what I had expected from a first class seat.
The catering provision was adequate but again fell below the standards experienced in the past and expected.
The journey itself was fast and efficient.
Our arrival in Paris coincided with a Gay Pride event and, as a result our taxi to hotel took 1.5 hours rather than 10 mins, a considerable extra cost.A railway station taxi driver should have been aware of this problem.
All in all not a very happy experience

First time I have used this company and will certainly do so again. We travelled to Paris from UK and then to Montabaun. Tickets arrived promptly and support was great. 5 stars all round. Will use again next time.

We had an excellent journey from Milan to Paris. It was very comfortable and relaxing. What a step up to be able to purchase metro tickets for further travel on the train. We have travelled with SNCF in the past and have several journeys planned for next year to Avignon and later in the year Nice. the train is becoming a first choice method of travel.

I enjoyed the travel as a lone travellor.Booking was straight forward and the tickets came through quickly.

Travelled from Paris to Nice return first class. Excellent trains and superb value for money. Very comfortable and on time!!! Would definitely use again. Used the local trains whilst in Nice and they were just as good.
