What fluorescent safety jackets
Parts of order for various sized fluorescent jackets not received. Contacted via chat twice and although promised follow up none has been received on either occasion. Items ordered before Christmas 2025 and now in February! One turned up last week. Good job the jackets weren't urgently required.

Delivery is usually good, some items are extremely expensive. Have experienced problems ordering recently but seems to have resolved. Search function is problematic - hard to find items. Descriptions can be lacking especially items that are related eg terminals, din rail, terminal accessories. Some items have been delivered in inadquate packaging and were damaged. Replacements sent.

I ordered a part online to collect from your Heathrow branch on Tuesday evening. I received a confirmation of order and expected to be able to collect them from Thursday. I actually arrived to collect them on Friday morning with the intention of then heading straight to the job I had in Henley. The part wasn't there, the staff member wasn't able to tell me why it wasn't, except that my payment had apparently been refused, neither of the customer terminals were switched on (at around 10.30) for me to be able to look for alternatives, and when the bumbling staff eventually fired them up they took an age to confirm that none of the possible alternatives were in stock at Heathrow...oh, and the postcode for the branch take you to a terraced house about half a mile away. The staff seemed to know about the postcode problem and said it had been a problem for 8 years, but that it was the fault of the post office; strange that Costco next door don't seem to have the same problem.
Anyway, I found out that you Watford Branch had 3 of the items I needed in stock, so I had no choice but to drive there, buy the part, and then drive to Henley. The guy at Watford was very helpful and seemed to be familiar with the payment issue whereas your confirmation of order is produced before the payment is approved through a banking app. My own bank had confirmed authorisation for the payment at the time, but your man said that sometimes there seemed to be a timing issue and payment would ne receive the confirmation on your system. Considering the amount of business that RS process online, it seems to me that such a basis issue should have been resolved by now, as should the correct directions for your Heathrow branch. I rarely have a problem with your products and support, but some of your processes seem to be lumbering, rigid and somewhat out of date. It took me some effort, time and resource to overcome an issue that your company created.
