I had a really positive experience speaking with Tom Broughton. He was incredibly helpful, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made what felt quite confusing much easier to understand.

He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely went above and beyond to help. It’s rare to come across that level of service these days. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Took two months to get new contract…

Took two months to get new contract details from them standing charge went from 39p to £1.40 a day and because they took so long to get me a contract and I was out they have charged £4.50 a day standing charge and they don’t state the rates on website😡😡😡😡
A lot better deals out there with honest companies

Customer service not helping me to fix…

Customer service not helping me to fix my contract and charge me with variable rate, they will only chase you for your bills but not doing anything. AVOID USING THEM!

Thank you for taking time to leave us a review. When you move into a property and do not set up a contract you will always get charged a variable price. We will request payment on this for the energy that is used.

Our sales team have been trying to get in touch with regards to setting up a contract but as this is a residential property we are unable to offer a business contract.

Based on your reviews in general, it does seem that you have had a number of issues relating to energy supply with a number of suppliers in the past and we are sorry to hear this is again the case.

In terms of the contract issued via the broker, the DocuSign contained two pages — one confirming the site details and the other clearly setting out the agreed unit rates and charges. This was sent for review and signed electronically.

If this contradicted rates previously discussed with your broker and you feel like you have been misold we would like more information on that.

That said, we absolutely understand that the unit rate is the most important part of the decision, and this should always be clearly highlighted and understood before any contract is signed.

If this wasn’t communicated clearly or confidently at the time, we regret that and will take this on board.

We’d welcome the opportunity to review this with you directly and address any outstanding concerns. I know our customer service manager has been in contact with you on this. If you would like to discuss this further feel free to get in touch.

Had a very positive experience with…

Had a very positive experience with UGP.
From the outset, communication was clear, responsive, and professional. Aakash, our main contact was particularly helpful, he took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all our questions promptly and made the whole process straightforward.
The service provided was efficient and well managed and felt supported throughout. Its refreshing to work with an energy company that is transparent and easy to deal with.

Brilliant Customer Service

Ever since we joined UGP the customer service has always been brilliant which was very important to us. We had always struggled with other utility companies prior to this but since we have been dealing with our dedicated account manager, Thomas Knapp, we have had no issues and everything has been dealt with efficiently and he couldn't be more helpful. Couldn't recommend this company enough for great pricing and customer service.

Reece, got it done!

Reece, as always, was helpful, got the job done and sorted all the background work.
We have spent a lot of time going around in circles iwth energy consultats, but Reece is clear, to the point and saves all the "messing about".
