Pleasantly surprised by good experience overy
Was scared when I saw all the negative reviews. Was pleasantly surprised by my experience. Travelled from London Heathrow to Tunis and back. Flight to Tunis was on time. Flight from Tunis to London was delayed by around 1 hour. They allowed one piece of hand carry and one handbag (to store under seat) for free. We also were given meals both ways. Plane to Tunis was nice and clean and looked new. No entertainment system. Plane on the back was a bit older but still clean. Online check in was straight forward and easy. Allowed to select seats for free. Staff were OK (could be a bit more helpful but no major complaints).

The service was awful, the food was inedible, not only on the outbound flight (Sep 9th) but the return journey (Sep 23rd) was even worse.
The food tray was cracked and broken, the packaging of the cutlery was soaking wet, everything on the tray was damp including the sugar. Why they gave sugar i have no idea as they did not even bother to come round with tea, coffee or any form of hot drinks. The crew seemed to have an attitude of here it is, take it and deal with it. It was almost impossible to understand what the crew were saying and there was no flight information throughout the journey. No entertainment system on board.The pilot said the return flight was going to be 2 hours 25 mins but actually ended up taking 3 hours, yet reason given and it was not due to any holding at either the departure or landing airport. The baggage reclaim at Tunis was chaos, the first set came round the carousel at least 3 times before without any announcement they sent the rest of the baggage via a different carousel. The aircraft had not been cleaned, the state of some of the seating was filthy and for a new aircraft, delivered in 2 weeks ago in August, very unimpressed. If it were possible they would not even get 1 star.
Utterly Dissapointing
I bought my ticket from Tunis to Barcelona a month in advance and paid extra for 2 suitcases. I did the check-in 24 hours prior to the flight, and at the airport, I checked in my bags and paid the excess-weight fee. Both suitcases weighed exactly the same (32kg) but for some reason, they charged me $275 DT for one and $100 for the other. When I asked about this difference, they told me "That's how it is" and that I could pay it or leave. They don't have an option to pay at the check-in counter, so I had to go pay at the Tunisair office. There was no one in line and still, the whole process took over half an hour in which they refused to answer clearly any of my enquiries.
While in the pre-boarding area, there was no airline representative whatsoever, and the flight got delayed 4 times (3 while at the airport and another one when we were already on the plane) adding up to more than 3 hours of delay. We only found out about the delays by checking Skyscanner and Google services on our phones because there was no one at the airport to answer our questions, and the screens showing the flight's information were not updated regularly or accurately. Adding to that, when we were boarding, I was told that I didn't have a seat assigned and that I would have to wait. The lady again wouldn't answer my questions, 4 different officers came to check and take pictures of my passport, but no one gave me answers. Almost 30 minutes later, once everyone was already on the bus to take us to the aircraft, they told me they would be changing my seat and that I could board. The bus was already halfway to the aircraft, so an officer with a radio asked it to stop and he made me run halfway through the runway to get to the bus to go the rest of the way. Once on the plane, they told us the flight was delayed again.
I was scheduled to arrive in Barcelona at 11 p.m. I arrived at almost 3 a.m.
I booked this flight because it was the only direct flight I could find for that specific date.
I don't recommend this airline, and their customer service needs some serious revising.

Yesterday I had a flight from Geneva to Tunis Carthage and they were more then 5 hours late without any communication to the Airport. SHUT DOWN TUNISAIR because there are other airline companies who really wanna do their job so make space for the real ones!

They cancelled my return flight from tripoli to tunis without any notification. I turned up at the Airport 4 hours before the flight scheduled and waited. No agent inside nor they answered any of my phone calls. I had to pay the equivalent to £180 for another airliner to take us to tunis. I wrote to their office in London and they offered £82 which was an insult and I rejected their offer by writing to them again and surpise surprise no reply. I wrote to them again with the intention of taking legal action and indicated in the letter that their response will be taken as a deadlock and hence I started legal proceedings and a court order will be issued in the next few weeks. Never use this airline and avoid it like the bubonic plague.

During my round trip in March 2023, Tunisair, typically notorious for frequent delays, pleasantly surprised me.
Not only were there no delays, but they offer sandwiches and drinks, which is uncommon for short flights.
The staff was friendly and attentive, and the pilot's skillful landings stole the show.
It's truly encouraging to witness Tunisair breaking free from their old habits.
Kudos to Tunisair for their remarkable efforts!

Complete scam. They put flights on sale, I bought them, they then cancelled them and refused to issue a refund. I've never been to Tunisia and now this is the only representation I have of the whole country. This airline should be ashamed of itself.

Bought ticket on the 28 Nov from Marseille to Tunis, Marseille being the second leg of my journey, got cancelled today. Very disappointed, can ruin my whole trip.
Good price / service ratio
We had a flight from Brussels Zaventem to Tunis Carthage and back, and both times the flight was good; it was on time, stewards were friendly and had some food and drinks during the flight.
The only minor point is that the airplane from BRU to TUN was a outdated and ramshackle, but the flight as such was fine. The plane from TUN to BRU was fine.
Based on this experience I would great it with 4 stars.

My wife and 2 year daughter were suposed to arrive in istanbul at 23:30pm yesterday/10/2022, now the situation is as follows, they are stucked in tunis airport no airplane to istanbul and even the staff are lying and keep lying with no accurate informations about when they can come back home, seriously its the worst airlines ever, i travelled alot with different airlines i never experienced one like that. People seriously if its the cheapest dont ride.
