Op. Dr. Tufan Ergenc devoted 11 years of his total 20 years of experience as a MD to Sleeve Gastrectomy surgery. Dr. Ergenc has become the preference of many patients from over 30 countries and has performed the Sleeve Gastrectomy surgery on more than 4000 patients. As one of the most experienced surgeons among all weight loss operation surgeons, Dr. Ergenc performs operations in Izmir/Turkey. With his for many years experience, he has become an expert on Sleeve Gastrectomy Surgery with his medical team. We perform laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy that about 80 percent of the stomach is removed. The patient starts losing weight fast with possessing the feeling of satiety after the removal of 80% of the stomach. Including the operation day, you will stay at the hospital for 3 nights. When you arrive here one day before the operation, the transportation coordinator will meet you at the airport and drive you to the hospital. You will undergo medical examinations with the guidance of blood tests and doctor (including cardiology, internal medicine, psychiatry, ultrasound, anesthesiologist). If there is not any problem with the check-up, our medical team will perform the surgery in the next day. The medical team does not use medical drainage and Op. Dr. Tufan Ergenc applies double sutures technique so that there will be any complication. You will be able to walk 2 hours after the surgery and go out in the next day. The price includes pre-operative checks, surgery, four days accommodation with a companion at the hospital, airport transfers for both, unlimited nutrition specialist follow-up that is prepared for each patient after the departure. All patients will receive remote professional support from our dietitians and nurses for 5 years after the operation.

Sleeve surgery on 7.2.24-
My experience with Dr Tufan and his team was of excellent care. From first contact with Burcu, care coordinator, I felt very welcomed. Nurse Mine is very confident and I feel safe, and she made me feel confident and ready to start my sleeve journey. .Cigli, the nutritionist, very educational and politely reminded me that, without sticking to my meal plan, then what's the point to go through the surgery then!!
Finally, dr Tufan himself, presented as a real warm, caring human being. I felt a sense of belonging and a fit to the team. His body language was very reassuring and indeed. My surgery went well with no surprises.
At the hospital, despite language barrier, the care was excellent. night shift Nurse, Ariwa, you are a true nurse.
I will choose dr Tufan again and again.

Dr. Tufan an experience physician staff that’s available to you 24/7

MaryChris 70 years old patient from USA, my journey to stomach sleeve surgery began in April of 2023, when my niece Sofia found Dr. Tufan Ergenc, there were others doctors in Izmir but Dr. Tufan’s rating and review caught my attention, I had my consultation in April of 2023. I was so impressed with Dr Tufan experience and knowledge, his stuff was able to explained the procedure thoroughly and made me feel very comfortable. All my arrangements were made while I was still in USA, and I travel back to Izmir on November 25th from USA with my niece and had stomach sleeve surgery on the Nov 28th, in Kant hospital one of the best in Izmir. Surgery was a success and I received excellent care from Dr. Tufan and his stuff from start to finish. Dr. Tufan is an excellent surgeon but also an amazing human being. They’re like a family to me now, aftercare from US is still ongoing. The staff checks up on me periodically. Extremely satisfied with my surgery and the aftercare. I highly recommend Dr. Tuan for anybody looking for a stomach sleeve surgery.

Great nurses and surgeon, I experienced the best level of care and service since the day we arrived. All questions awnsered, truely in safe hands throughout the whole process! Would highly reccommend.

My Experience

The Gastric Sleeve surgery went without complicatons and the stuff was really nice.
They all supported us in every question and request before and after the surgery,
After 3 months i lose over 30 kg, today I would never change anything about my decision. The price is a little bit up there but it was all worth it.
I recommend all people who struggle with obesity to go to dr tufan.

I could not say enough great things…

I could not say enough great things about Dr. Tufan ergenç And dietitian Berivan he was absolutely the best doctor I have ever see. He has changed my life so much and I was so happy with my results that 2 more people in my family used Dr. Tufan ergenç If you are unhappy about Your Weight and are thinking of surgery please do yourself a favor and go to dr. Tufan. you will not be disappointed. I had a wonderful experience...

I had surgery like 21 months ago after…

I had surgery like 21 months ago after surgery i changed all my eating habits. I can eat everything and chewing well i take 5 kilos back because i am pregnant thank you to best doctor in turkey i am so healthy reccommended to everyone
