I went to Izmir to have a gastric sleeve. Dr Erol and his team were very good informative at all times organising my transport and stays in hospital making sure i arrived home safely and still keeping in touch. From start to finish had a great expereance Dr Erol and his team .they lead me through the hole prosess from start to finish they kept me informed and and i felt very safe in there hand operation went great and after care was second to none .I was looked after from airport to airport and follow up at home continues id highly recommend .
By the time I was ready to go for my surgery; I was 90% sure I had made the right decision and my nerves were calmed over the phone by Berfen (translator and go to person - really lovely lady; she will still be in contact with you when you get home which means a lot).
I went with my sister-in-law as a companion. It is nice to have a familiar face but if you don't have one; it doesn't matter because everyone is super attentive. The nurses, doctors, staff, the taxi drivers who will transport you from airport to hospital and hotel are extremely compassionate.
I had my surgery on the 19th of January so I am in my 2nd week post op. I feel very well, incision sites are healing well. I was not asked for payment until all test results had come through and I was fit for surgery.
I am saving the best for last- Dr Mustafa Erol - the smile and kindness in his voice and bedside manner - he is like a dad. He will take you through everything and answer all your questions.
Dr Erol knows his stuff!! He is so calm and that made me feel I was in good hands. You might get the opportunity to see him in the operating theatre sitting down reading through notes and listening to music. His technical skills are exceptional, he is empathetic and is a man with high emotional intelligence.
The most important thing is do your homework because there are so many good surgeons in Turkey but not many "skilled surgeons"
Unless they change- just know that you are in the hands of the best!

I had my surgery on September 22 with Dr. Mustafa Erol. From the initial consultation to my discharge, I felt very well cared for, both professionally and personally. Everything was clearly explained, decisions were justified transparently, and there was plenty of time for questions.
A special thank you to Berfin for her great support—from scheduling appointments to preparation and follow-up care. Her quick availability, helpfulness with organizational matters, and calm, friendly manner gave me a great deal of confidence.
The surgery itself went smoothly. The procedure was well organized, the team was attentive, and the pain management was well coordinated. The first few days after the operation were easy to manage thanks to the clear instructions.

I had my operation on the 16th of May, everything went smoothly and the whole staff of the hospital was very helpful. Dr. Mustafa was visiting every day and he was really helpful and answered all my questions and concerns. I want to thank also to Merve , she was available every single time I needed her. Now a week later I lost almost 11kg, I was able to go back to my normal routine on the 4th day after the surgery, I was back to work and I am feeling more than great. One more time- dr.
