I was hoping for a solution to PD, instead got the run around on a refund.

I ordered this cream hoping for the best to treat my perioral dermatitis. The reviews on their website were great (although in retrospect I have no idea where those reviews came from). Once ordered, it was clear the product was coming from out of the country. In the meantime, I ordered a lower dose azelaic acid on Amazon. That product was helpful so I was very excited to receive the 14% azelaic acid product from Selvora because I had heard that was the magic dose.

When the product arrived, it was in a tube with a sticker, no actual printed label, which I thought was odd. I tried the product for a week and my PD actually got worse. I went back to the 10% cream I got off Amazon and it improved again so I felt the Selvora cream was ineffective.

I contacted them at this point for a refund. I had purchased two tubes and one was unopened. I was offered 10%. I told them that was unacceptable. They then offered me 20%. I again told them this was unacceptable. They finally told me where I could return the cream to (at my expense of course). I sent both tubes back and pointed out their 30 day money back guarantee on the website. At this point, they acknowledged the guarantee and told me once the product was received and examined, I would receive a refund in 1-2 days.

I tracked the package and a full 7 days after they received it I reached out and asked where my refund was. No response. Two days later, I asked again. Again no response. At this point, I filed a chargeback on my credit card. And miraculously I finally got my credit.

Please avoid doing business with this company! They are taking advantage of people who are desperate to find a solution. No one should have to work this hard for a refund that is guaranteed!
