You can't get any human interaction…

You can't get any human interaction with customer service or support. They deactivated my account without my knowledge and the only way to be able to live chat or fill out a contact form is by logging into your account. I'm going in circles via email by a customer service rep who 1- completely skipped over reading my ACTUAL concern and told me to create a new account to order and 2 - doesn't even know how their website and app makes you log in to be able to contact support. Somebody fraudulently used my account and there's no way to get it resolved besides cancel my card.

This company is a scam!

I would give no stars if possible. Order sushi from a place I have been before and decided to get it delivered this was the default company they use through their website. I received a call from the driver stating he was at the wrong address they company butchered my address on the app. I gave him the correct address stated he was 10 minutes away after 20 minute I called he said they canceled my order so he was not coming. I look in my email to see an email stating my food was delivered when it was not! I emailed the company 3 times now since they do not have a number to call because I was charged for the food I never received! I am currently filing a dispute with my credit card company to get the charges taken off this whole thing is outrageous and I will never use this company again and advise others to look elsewhere for delivery services

Shittyest Delivery Service Ever Created!!!

Only because I can't give them a worse review... I ordered $93 of food for myself and my coworkers and not only did they NOT deliver my food but the delivery company absolutely refused to refund all of my money... They only gave me part of it back onto my card and told me they had to put the rest onto a credit for use on their site... But not for the full amount... They made sure to pay the driver that stole my food with my money... THEY PAID THE DRIVER WHO STOLE MY FOOD WITH MY MONEY THAT THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T PUT BACK ON MY CARD!!!... THANK YOU CAVIAR FOR STEALING MY FOOD AND MY MONEY AS WELL AS WASTING A TON OF MY TIME ON THE PHONE PRETENDING LIKE YOU WERE GOING TO FIX THINGS AND THEN FEEDING ME A LINE OF BULLSHYT JUST TO GET ME OFF OF THE PHONE! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I DEFINITELY LET THE RESTAURANT KNOW THIS COMPANY LETS THE DRIVERS STEAL THE FOOD FROM THEIR CUSTOMERS.... NICE WORK CAVIAR.... YOU ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST DELIVERY SERVICE!

System sucks

First time order. Got a call from driver that they were in lobby and no-one would let them in. I went down and there was nobody there. I called the driver back -- only to find out that the Caviar system had garbled the delivery address and they were blocks away. Pizza was ice cold by the time they arrived. Reached out to Customer Service, but haven't heard back. Based on the reviews here, I don't expect to. Will delete app.

I am giving this 1 star only because…

I am giving this 1 star only because there is no option to give it 0 star. They canceled my order 5mins before the delivery time. And then contacting the customer care was a pain! After much efforts, when contacted, the only reply thay had was we will refund you the money. That is obvious, what do I do about my party of 20 people who are waiting for food!!!
When i contacted the restaurant directly, they told me they have requested caviar to take down their catering menu 10 times! Caviar is just not responding to them!
So it is bad for both their customers! I dont have anything positive to say about it.

This place is a disaster

This place is a disaster. I wish I'd read the reviews before I placed an order. They have absolutely no means by which to provide customer support. They take your money but you can't reach them for any reason, whether to modify an order or cancel one. What a complete racket. I placed a couple orders that were time-sensitive and, when I reached out to Caviar to modify them, they never responded. But then I got an automatic notification the order had gone out. They are AWFUL.

Total disaster

Total disaster. Caviar is an organizational mess with abysmal customer support. Let me explain:

1) I placed an order around 6:30 p.m. At 7:01 an e-mail arrived saying my order was "on its way" and at 7:04 p.m. another e-mail arrived saying "has been delivered." But the order wasn't delivered and, since Caviar doesn't provide a phone number I spent the next 20 minutes sending texts and e-mails to Caviar Support.

2) At 7:48 a standardized reply arrived saying "Thank you for contacting Caviar. We have received your request and are working on responding to you as soon as possible." Obviously, no one was monitoring the texts and e-mails.

3) At 8:39 I received an e-mail saying, "Your Caviar order from Soi 4 Bangkok Eatery has been received. It should arrive around 9:34 PM."

4) At 9:21 p.m. another e-mail arrived saying, "Sorry, your order is taking a bit longer than we anticipated. Don’t worry—we’re working to make it right!"

5) Finally, at 9:37 p.m. an e-mail arrived saying, "We are sorry to inform you that your Caviar order from Soi 4 Bangkok Eatery has been cancelled. Unfortunately, the restaurant was unable to make your order."

A refund and $10 credit was offered. But by that time, my evening had been ruined and I knew I would never patronize Caviar again.

NO Customer Service!!

I’ve used Caviar for years, and their delivery service was always easy, accurate and spot on. However over the course of the last several months, Caviar’s delivery service has been beyond disappointing and I have deleted the app from my phone altogether. Their customer service is NONEXISTENT and if you have an issue, you’ll go thru DAYS of back and forth emails. Caviar mischarged my credit card for an order that was never delivered and it took over a week of emails (having to explain and reexplain my situation to 3 different people) to get the issue resolved. THATS RIDICULOUS!! Especially because it could have been resolved within minutes over the telephone… But they have no customer service phone number. I’m done with this “no customer service” bs!!

This was literally the worst food…

This was literally the worst food delivery service I've ever experienced. I'm not even up to describing it because I had to explain myself so many times to the courier, the first rep, his supervisor, the restaurant of origin, and online feedback. It was so frustrating, I actually ended up in tears at one point. What's the point of having customer service agents if they're just blowing you off from the get go.

The WORST

The WORST. Just gave my food to any stranger on the Boston streets and claimed it was Hotel Valet. Then spent 45 minutes 'investigating' until the restaurant shut. This isn't the first time they've failed but the first time that they've disrespected me as a customer and 'pretended' to be resolving an issue while doing nothing of a sort. AVOID like the plague.. UberEats.. anything but this is a solution for your needs.

First time user- Wrong Order- Customer service is not reachable

Tried them for the first time today. They delivered the wrong order and have no phone number to reach them at. Messaged through the online portal 40 min ago and haven't heard back. If they don't refun my money I will contact my credit card company. After googling a bit, I realized that they have the worst customer service. Will not be using ever again.

If I could give this a zero I would

If I could give this a zero I would. I have been waiting for my order for over TWO HOURS when the estimated delivery was 20 minutes at the time I ordered. I have been on chat with their support for over an hour and they keep changing their answer on the delivery time. They have no idea how to operate a business and I will NOT be ordering from them again.

Don't order through Caviar

Don't order through Caviar. My meals were over 3 HOURS LATE! I contacted the customer service more than 5 times to no avail and it has been over a month already.

Their drivers are sometimes given 2 or…

Their drivers are sometimes given 2 or 3 orders from the same restaurant to deliver. If you are the farthest address of the 2 or 3 residences, expect your order to be 35-60 minutes late and it will be cold. It’s a shame because they used to be the best delivery service. I will not use them again.

Awful

Deliveries are RARELY on time. Maybe 1 out of 10 orders? I have to get food delivered frequently for work and have to choose between them Grubhub and Postmates. They are by NO WAY superior to Grubhub. I've had orders canceled or restaurants just not accept my order for over an hour, past the delivery time. The quality of service is awful. It seems like they grew too fast and do not have enough drivers for the demand, at least in Boston where I'm at.

I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy

I placed an order on Caviar today and provided specific delivery instructions (Exhibit A) to our unit since it is outside the gate of our apartment complex.

At 7:01 pm, I received a text stating the courier arrived. (Exhibit B)

The text included a number to call to coordinate getting us the food. I called the first time at 7:02 - ONE MINUTE LATER. The phone rang and then gave a message that the call could not go through. (Exhibits C-1 and Exhibit C-2). I made several more attempts to call. IT ALSO SHOWS NO incoming calls from that number

In addition, at 7:02 - Caviar called stating that the courier's number was not working. By this time, my husband had already walked outside to ,meet with the courier and he was nowhere to be found. (Exhibit D showing the incoming call).

I sent various messages to Caviar. I went out to try and find the driver, as did my husband.

AFter I received a mesage that our order was forfeited, my husband came and said one of our neighbors was outside having a cigarette and someone asked about Lisa - she did not know anything. So the driver got in his car and left... making no further attempts to deliver.

I am giving one star because I have to.... but really, I don't want to.
