I visited the shop with the intention of purchasing a considerable amount of fabric. I knew the type and design of fabric I wanted but I found the staff most unhelpful with a " couldn't really be bothered" and dismissive attitude. I will not be visiting the shop again.
As a beginner I went in with a pattern and zero knowledge. The lady that helped me was fantastic, kind, knowledgeable and at no point did she make me feel silly. She showed me how to work out how much fabric I needed and helped me understand the other notions I needed. She even said I could pop in if I got stuck and wished me luck. What a wonderful experience!!! 10 starts out of 5.
Fantastic store full of high quality supplies and fabrics for your sewing needs. I bought my wedding dress fabric from them back in 2017 having gone to the store itself, where the staff were very helpful. I've recently bought online as I do live a bit too far away for random trips, and my experience was just as positive. The items were well packaged, and beautifully wrapped. I will continue to make use of their in-person and online shops.
