Wonderful Prompt Service
It is slightly difficult to file an invoice because the website won’t let me. However, it is easy to file by email.
They pay promptly without fail. I had to call customer support and they were very friendly and helpful.

Being denied reimbursement for treating…
Being denied reimbursement for treating a bacterial infection on the basis that it is due to allergies and the dog was born with allergies so it’s a preexisting condition. Pretty clearly using AI to review and decide on claims submissions and not being able to have a human override clear mistakes.
I am responding to their robot reply. See, this is the kind of attitude I am talking about. They say bacterial infection is due to something the dog was born with, so it predates coverage. But the dog wasn’t born with bacterial infection. They use whatever excuse they can find to avoid covering the treatment.

We could be more blessed and thankful…
We could be more blessed and thankful to Trupanion for being there for us when we were at our most vulnerable with a sick 6 month old Yorkie. We brought him to an emergency hospital in Orlando who referred him to University of Florida animal hospital. Not only did our baby get the best care he could possibly get, Trupanion was there for our baby within minutes of the hospital sending over the invoice. This really saved us from having more stress when we were absolutely at our lowest worrying for our baby. Thank you Trupanion we could never thank you enough for being there when we needed you the most.

Eye Surgery for Braylon
Trupanion is truely the best to work with. I brought my dog, Braylon, in LV Specialists to have her eye examined. Sadly she needed eye surgery, but happily Trupanion came to my rescue. A quote for the surgery was given within 15 minutes and I scheduled the surgery for the next day. Without Trupanion's support, timelyness and assisting me, this much needed surgery would not have happened, Thank you Trupanion and Braylon thanks you too!

My dog unexpectedly got sick. i had to take her to the emergency vet. They took care of submitting the bill to you and everything was taken care of. I had to pay my portion of the bill of course. Thank God I have Trupanion, because I wasn't expecting that big of a bill.

I am happy with them!
They have paid claims with clear explanations about what was and wasn’t covered and why. For example they break down what my 10% share is, what went toward my deductible and what normal exam fees are not covered, For a procedure done yesterday, they paid the vet directly which was really nice. So far, Trupanion has lived up to my expectations and I am pleased!

Great customer service and support
Great customer service. My dog needed knee surgery which Trupanion paid 90% which was a huge help. The preapproval was quick and easy. It was also nice that Trupanion had direct pay at the clinic I went to so I could submit the claim right there and just pay the difference.
