Avoid these crooks, they own Teletxt Holidays but can’t even refund myself 18 months later like thousands of others. Avoid like the plague, they all full of rubbish and lies

Me and my fiance have been left in canaria with no hotel and no money to pay for it do not use truly travel or there other company teletext hollodays we re booked march this only to get to airport and shuttle they hired for us was bust that cost us 60 euros to get to hotel only to then be told the holliday had been cancelled on 14th 06/ when i on 17 messaged my hotel and they confirmed it was still active ! We got here to be told it was cancelled hotel trying to get intouch with truly travel and the scumbags not replying god help them when i get home ! Do not use these theyr scum dnt care about the customer and leave u in crap il make sure gov know about there breaches of contract and malpractice!

I have just received an email from truly travel, a covid Web form.
about a refund has anyone else got one? Is this genuine.
They ask for ref: lead passenger name and telephone number.

I have jumped through every hoop imaginable to get refund for holiday that was cancelled countless emails phone call to them no response or help looks like next step is court proceedings

Like all others paid Alpharooms (truly hols)in full 18 months ago and holiday was cancelled.Got their worthless credit note which couldn't use due to Covid with promise of full refund after April 30th 2021.Now they won't answer phone or even acknowledge emails.British Government and Authorities are a disgrace to stand idly by in the knowledge of this company stealing millions from citizens and couldn't care less.Vote with your feet next time and in meantime make sure this company goes bust as they deserve.Nothing but thieves and should be jailed as should the powers that be for allowing such crime on their watch.

Just enquiring if anyone has received a email from this company for cancelled Teletext holiday asking for bank details to refund money. Pretty sure this is iffy and have emailed Teletext to check. Thanks.

This company is a joke I had a family holiday booked for 9 ppl costing £5000 was for July 2020 was cancelled as everyone else’s has been, we are still waiting for a refund and all we keep getting told is it will be soon give them another 4 weeks, have been in the que a number of time on the phone for 45 to 60 minutes and got cut off it’s a joke something needs to be done about this company

I booked a holiday to go to Egypt in June 2021. So far Easyjet have notified me that the flights are cancelled. I have had nothing from Truly Travel/Teletext Holidays. When I ring them to confirm that my holiday is cancelled no one answers the phone or responds to my emails. I can't get hold of anyone to get my money back. Just dead silence. I tried contacting the travel ombudsman and got no reply and ATOL but can't log a claim as they are still in business. So no holiday or refund for me.

I have read all these reviews and truly feel for each of you. I had holiday booked to Dominican for June 2020 which was obviously cancelled, I then changed dates to end of September which was also cancelled. I requested a refund and was told it would be no problem, after unlimited amount of telephone calls and emails i am still waiting 8/9 months later. £2299 sitting in their bank account no doubt making them a nice little bit of interest which is illegal. This company is a complete joke and bunch of rip off merchants, surely there is somewhere we can report them ?

After reading reviews of both companies, it appears they should be put out of business or the government petitioned for an investigation of their practices. I hope these reviews dissuade anyone thinking of booking with them.
I am a Canadian retiree, recently contacted by representatives of Alpharooms in Mexico City offering to buy my US timeshare. No responses were received to 3 emails to the UK website requesting confirmation that this was a bona fide offer from the UK parent. No telephone contact was successful. They even used a California lawyer to forward a sale contract which appeared legitimate but I had questions about certain clauses that went unanswered so I did not proceed to take the bait. I believe I avoided being scammed. Who knows if Alpharooms was just being used by con artists needing a company name. In any event, I would not book anything with this outfit and I am sorry many of you have lost money in the past.

This company are awful. No customer service, no refunds, hours on hold. DO NOT give them your money! I booked my holiday in March 2020 to fly September 2020. Due to Covid this was cancelled. I have been told countless times “it will be with you by the end of this month” that’s since October. I called the FCA and they advised I ask for a subject access request ( a legal document they have to provide if requested) and none of the staff know what this is... is this company even legal? On 29/03/2021 I was told by Madhav to email to request my refund, which I did on that same day, I still have not received a response or acknowledgment, I work in a call centre myself and know that this service is unacceptable. When you ask to speak to a manger it’s always “that’s not possible” or “ no one is available” I don’t understand how we make a complaint if no one replies to emails and no one will call us back! Something needs to be done about this awful company!

Disgusting customer service booked holiday nov20 paid full found out day before hotel shut was not offered alternative accommodation said would recieve refund feb millions of calls emails only to be ignored or put phone down out of order not a rich person who can just give money away robbing 🤬no joy still made 6 calls today still no joy contacted bank no help either something needs to be done ripping thousands of families off what a disgusting company quick enough to take the money though!!!!!!!!! Can anyone advise me what to do next!!!
I am booked on a holiday for the 21/05/21 I have called this company numerous times and tonight waited on hold for 2 hours,I have sent four emails and no one has come back to me.
They have not taken my last payment??
Im so fed up now and cannot spend all this time on the phone on hold.
Just want my last payments refunded?

Same as everyone else. Still awaiting a refund. 20 odd emails been ignored, wait in a queue for at least three hours to speak to someone who then reads of a script and lies to you. Was told to shut the f up b£&@£ by one so called customer service rep. Had the phone put down on me four times as well and I’m not a shouter! Was told I’d recieve my refund within four weeks and months later still no sign of it. Had to apply for a ccj against them now

I'm still waiting for my refund.this company is just taking people's money and not refunding.its disgusting.please do not book holiday unless you just want to give it away.I've lost £1,300 through booking with teletext holidays.why havent the government clamped down on this.

No joy from bank emailed atol no reply from them either, when this holiday was cancelled booked another with jet2, that was cancelled refunded within 3days. Booked a Package holiday with Teletext (Truly Travel ) in December 2019 to go for 2 weeks to Turkey on May 2020 as expected it was Cancelled by Teletext owing to the Corona Virus after 2 weeks sent me a Protected Cover note expecting me to Rebook another Holiday owing to my Wife taken ill asked for a full refund back they Lied to me every time on getting my refund sent e/mails Phone calls got cut off everytime tried my bank to help no luck tried Citizen Advice still waiting Teletext said they were waiting for the Airline to refund them the money for the flight I sent a e/mail to the airline asked me to return a code back to them I did this and they had Processed the flight refund back to Teletext still know refund I am trying the CAA the are nothing but Robbers I was ARTOL Guess by who Truly Travel still waiting its now April 4th 2021 How can they get away with this its are money

Have been waiting for balance of refund £1100 9months later still nothing the worse company I've ever dealt with they never connect u to refunds just put u on hold and leave u also never answer emails I would never even think bout using this cowboy outfit ever again
