Very poor experience in Portland
Very poor experience with the Portland branch.
When you are advised by a bridal "expert" to buy a dress larger than you think that you need because "the seamstress will need the extra room to complete the alterations" then why would you doubt them ? This is what they do for a living.
Unfortunately this turned out to be genuinely bad and misleading advice - the seamstress actually had to charge hundreds of dollars extra because the dress was far too big.
Okay, so mistakes happen, but apparently not at True Society. They now deny ever giving that advice and blame previous management (both of which are provably untrue)
The website claims that the owners pride themselves on providing a memorable service.
This service has certainly been memorable, but definitely not in a good way.
If you want your special day to stay special, maybe shop elsewhere.
They have also removed at least 10 negative reviews from Google in the past week - not the actions of an honest, trustworthy operation.
