Unpleasant, perhaps dangerous
I'm not in the habit of writing product reviews, but I think in this case it's important to join those voices pointing out that this product is seriously defective and possibly dangerous. I applaud the company for what they're trying to do; the branding is good, the idea of a more natural gum is appealing, and it has a pleasant flavour and texture, at least initially. But after perhaps two or three minutes of chewing, the gum disintegrated abruptly to a viscous, sticky liquid in my mouth which was difficult to spit out and required a lot of rinsing to remove. This was a very unpleasant experience, and I can see how under the right circumstances it could also become hazardous. I'm aware that the manufacturer has tried to excuse this known fault by referring either to out-of-date batches (this one wasn't) or improper storage, but either way it's clear that a lot more care and testing were required before the product was introduced to the market.

DANGEROUS PRODUCT
DANGEROUS PRODUCT. Seriously guys? Have more pride in your products. I really wanted to support this brand and I was excited to try the lemon flavour ‘True Gum’. However this product is extremely dangerous and is a choking hazard. Flavour is great for a few chews, then in less than a minute, it breaks apart and starts to stick to all the different parts of your teeth. I would never think about writing a review for chewing gum, but the experience was so horrific that I needed to share this. The people who run this company should be ashamed of releasing products (expensive ones) that are so poor quality and dangerous. And yes the product is in date (bought from WHS Smith UK, expiry 2026).

Its more sticky than glue
Its more sticky than your average glue, I spat a piece into my hand to throw into the bin. But it literally stuck my hands together the only way to get it off was to pour acetone all over my hands and scrub with a metal plate cleaner took me 10 minutes. BTW it expires in 2025
I would never buy it again!
Saw that it was plastic free, liked the story and packaging... so I decided to try it but it was a great mistake... i have never experienced gum as bad as this! It loses its flavour just too quickly then most importantly - BITS OF IT COME PART AND STICK TO YOUR TEETH & DON'T COME OFF EASILY! I was so concerned about my teeth after this... in my opinion, its not worth it.
Dangerous!! Sticks to your teeth and impossible to get off hands
I bought this because I was looking for a xylitol only gum, and I instantly regret it.
It became extremely sticky, doesn't even come off from hands using washing up liquid and using a brush! And I was on my way to getting a panick attack at the thought of the residue left in my mouth and on retainer sticking the same way to my throat! Dangerous product really, there should be a warning sign on it.
It wasn't old, expiring date is 17.05.2025.
The flavour is mint.

Dangerous product
Dangerous product. Sticks to your teeth and even gets between the teeth! Flavour goes after 3 minutes. Pointless product and awful experience.

after a few seconds the taste…

Plastic free but full of natural…
Plastic free but full of natural flavoring which is actually pure poison. Extremely dissapointing.
Natural flavouring is not clean or toxin free. More often than not natural flavours are highly processed and contain many chemical additives. They are just as damaging to human body than artificial flavoring. There's hundreds if not thousands of articles written about it,also many studies. Unless you can prove that all your flavouring comes straight from plants, spices, etc and are not chemically modified,I stand by my original comment. Your gum is not healthy!!!

Never again 0.5/5
Disgusting taste appart from maybe 10 seconds in the beggining. Sticks to teeth after a while and when you're done with it and wanting to throw it out it sticks to your hands.
Appart from the bad gum experience the packaging is even worse. The rock hard zipper opening is so stuck together it hurts like hell opening it with your fingers so you have to resort to biting it open.
You also only get like 14 gums per package.
Never again 0.5/5.

Never again
Never again. What a strange experience! Nice taste at the beginning but then it sticked to the teeth unless I had a normal chewing gum. And not only. When trying to throw it away, it sticks to the fingers, to the hand, the bag, the key... Had to turn back home, avoid touching anything else, to free myself by using remover for stickers and nail polish remover...

The best plastic free, sustainable and vegan gum I know
I'm testing every kind of plastic free and vegan gum I come across at local stores, but until now Ture Gum has been the best by far. Yes, the bulk of the taste only lasts for a short time, but that's also true for many non-vegan or plastic containing gums… Overall, the taste is very natural (sometimes even different for individual gums), intensive and they don’t get hard while you chew, and most importantly for me: they are sustainable.

Biodegradable Chewing Gum
It takes a few chews before it comes together to form one piece. After that, it feels like some of the cheaper children's bubble gum out on the market. The Raspberry Vanilla has barely any flavour of anything. I like the idea of a biodegradable gum. If they could get the flavour right l would buy it again. I might try the Mint flavours as Mint is pretty hard to get wrong. If it's still flavourless, then l wont bother buying again.
Never going to buy this again
Never going to buy this again. After chewing it I was trying to take it out of mouth to throw it in the garbage, but it stuck to my hands. I spent good 15 minutes trying to get it off my hands, it ruined my manicure and almost ruined my equipment and made me late to my training. Hate this product, and I can only imagine if you give it to children…
The taste is amazing!…for the first 10…
The taste is amazing!…for the first 10 seconds.I love that this gum brand is sustainable and vegan but the taste disappears so so fast that there’s really no reason to buy it.I really hope you guys can figure out a way to make the taste last longer, because the flavor, marketing and packaging is great.
I'm so glad I didn't bulk order this
I'm so glad I didn't bulk order this. It crumbles in your mouth, there's an initial burst of nice flavour which is gone the moment the crumbly outer shell disintegrates. You're then left with a very small amount of flavourless chewable gum which after only a minute or two of chewing gets stuck to your teeth and you have to scrape it off.
So disappointed, I've wanted an eco-friendly gum but this definitely isn't it.
With the flavour profile True Gum's people could go into making some lovely sweets, but their gum cannot really be said to be for chewing.
You’ll need half the bag to be left…
You’ll need half the bag to be left with a tiny bit of gum in your mouth.
The fruity taste disappears in a minute.
Slimey and sticky mess - no chew
It stuck to my teeth in a slimy mess after two minutes, unfortunately. I tried to pull it from my teeth ending up with gooey mess all over fingers and clothes. Embarrassing, as I was in a meeting. The chewing gum stooped being chewy very quickly, ending up as a slimey, sticky thing in my mouth.
They suck
flavour gone in 3 chews which is a shame because they’re really nice!
For the Price and quantity
For the Price and quantity. Its a scam.Taste is gone in seconds and for the Price Its crazy What marketing Can do for a product like this. Waste of money! Not Worth it at all..
