The quality of service really depends on the editor.
For my experience, only one editor works reasonably, and others are all non-professional.
There are a lot of typo and careless mistakes and response to claim is also very late.
I am too disappointed and I will not use this service again.

The "proofer" was oblivious to my stated style (not Chicago Manual). It was rewritten in a sort of old-time grade school manner -- dry, prosaic... Humanity turned to ice; the soul was killed.

I gave your services 3/5, because my friend was able to take it to another level, which the editor failed to do.

I used True Editors last year to help me proofread a journal article. Their service was appalling. Not only did they fail to spot several typos and grammar mistakes but they actually made mistakes themselves when they rewrote a couple of sentences. Furthermore, some of the changes they made were completely unnecessary that subtracted from the quality of the document. I only used them because I had been working on the document so long I could no longer see it clearly. I wish I hadn’t. It was a complete waste of money. There are far proofreaders out there who actually do their job properly. However, it wasn’t just that their proofreading was bad but when I complained they were also extremely rude. I had an email exchange with Jason where he firstly denied there were any mistakes. Then when I highlighted them he failed to apologise and just sent me a rude email with another amended version of the document. Steer clear of this company. They don’t know what they are doing.

It was my second-time order, I was impressed by the feedback from the editor. The editor name was Pia Olsson, she/he gave not only corrections but also thoughtful answers to my questions. As well, I learned so much from the corrections from the editor. I will keep using this service until I complete writing work.

DO NOT USE THIS SCAM SERVICE! - i spent 142 pounds and got 4 incoherent edits back after nearly a week of chasing when i paid for a quick turnaround - my 6 yr old niece could have done a better job...

it is the worst service I have ever received. They use 1 week to answer and they really don't know what customer service is.

I agree with other real reviewers here that The editors have zero experience in academic writing. It is impossible to be Ph.D. holders or even native speakers as they pretend. I highly recommend researchers to go away from this company. They pretend to be Ture editors but it is not true. Please do not waste your time or money. The cheap is cheap. You may think to choose their service because they charge cheaper than others but the quality is so bad (terrible). Go to the most reputed companies such as Ediatge or Enago. They charge high but they offer exceptional service. GO AWAY GO AWAY AND DO NOT EVEN THINK OF CHOOSING THIS COMPANY. They edited my doc and sent it back to me with very few changes. If I reread my doc again, I could do it myself.

… for me TrueEditors is a TrueHelper. It is a just-in-time consultant, as English is not my mother tongue, especially when I need to submit or send a formal English document(s) to external clients and partners. Though some returns were bit lagging compared to the required deadline, due to job overload (perhaps), its just excellent!
