Shocking experience trying to get a refund on returned goods.
Despite following process they keep sending me generic responses regarding my refund and it is impossible to get in contact with them. Avoid!!
Editing to respond to their generic reply which is a great example of what is happening. What is the “correct department”?! There is no contact information, you are prompted to write in a chat box in your account that sends you round in circles and they keep telling you (as below) that your query has been sent to “the appropriate department”. It’s all a ploy to stretch out the time so you give up. Well for nearly £400 worth of goods, I won’t be giving up.

Long wait for goods! Delivery / return charges expensive. This company offers competitive prices…
This company offers competitive prices for goods, however delivery takes approx 2 weeks as shipped from Spain (main warehouse) and if you have to return an item they charge £11.99 for the return. I would avoid due to high delivery and return charges along with the wait for the actual goods.
Customer service have advised return fee’s are acceptable as warehouse is in Spain. This information is not shared prior to ordering goods.

Refuse to refund for goods stuck in transit
I ordered a fleece in January, I still have not received in April and they will not refund me. I keep getting a generic email from their customer service saying they are investigating with the transport company and to give them 10-15 days. It has been 4 months and countless emails and still no outcome to the investigation. Very frustrating

Express delivery SHAM!
We ordered two sets of binoculars to be delivered to the first destination on our Borneo wild life spotting holiday. The delivery date was 13th/14th April we paid approx £40 to secure express delivery as this is a holiday of a life time and binoculars are essential. We have just discovered that the delivery has now been moved to 20th /24th April. We will no longer be at that address so the items will be lost and the express payment pointless. This is really devastating as we've spent so much money to get here and now Trekking have broken their promises. We would have gone elsewhere but now it's too late! Don't believe their promises! We now need a full refund.

Expect a long wait and brush up on your Italian language skills!
This company sends their parcels from Italy. They have to clear Italian customs and then UK customs before being handed to Royal Mail, this takes days and there is no mention of this at point of sale. My delivery took 8 days, it was three days overdue from the company's expected delivery date. The 'contact us' page is AI and infuriating, not fit for purpose. I eventually raised a ticket, don't ask me how!!, my reply was in Italian!! I eventually got a reply in English which informed me how to track a parcel and not why my parcel was three days overdue. This happened twice, probably because staff don't read the question asked. I dread to think what the returns or refunds experience are like, I'm guessing it's not an easy experience if the process is reversed. However, I won't find out as I have no intention of using this company again which is a shame because they are competitively priced. Thankfully, the goods arrived and were in perfect condition.

CUSTOMERS BE WARNED! The most expensive return costs in the UK perhaps!
A complete daylight robbery once it comes to returns! I ordered a trouser costing £124.49 (Order No: 67846215). I needed to return it and the business’s return portal required me to pay £11.99 for the return label, which is Tracked 48 (normally costing £4).
This seems like an unethical business, which is making money on returns as well.
UPDATE: This is the first time I have been charged such an astronomical amount for the return. Many vendors offer free returns, while others charge exactly the same, that the courier does, for printing a return label. You are charging almost three times what the courier would charge! Not only this, you aren’t giving the customer the option to use their own courier to return the item. Basically you are forcing the customer to be overcharged around three times what it actually costs! Not only unethical but I feel it’s the breach of Distant Selling Regulations!
You have certainly lost my custom!
