We booked our flight with Traveasy as it was £20 less than on BA. Don't follow our example. It turns out that when you book a flight with them that isn't actually a guarantee of a seat, and you just have to hope they issue your ticket before the airline raises the prices. This is NOT the same as Expedia etc where they issue the ticket immediately.
They never sent the e-ticket, so I phoned them and was told the ticket would not be issued because the price rose in the meantime.
After some back and forth they eventually demanded I paid a rather arbitrary £100 more to get the ticket I thought I had already purchased.
There is nothing in their terms that allows them to do this and this is probably against consumer law. their own terms say a binding contract is formed as soon as you receive the email confirmation... but the customer service reps clearly are not aware of this and invented rules that allow them to demand more money. To avoid legal faff and try and save my holiday I ultimately agreed to pay the extra £100.
At least it was easy to get in touch with them over the phone. But their practice of not selling you an actual seat when you pay for the flights is shady and expect for them to demand more money.
Book direct with the airline unless you want to be asked to pay more!

I had the worst experience I have ever had with a travel agency booking through Traveasy.
I purchased a ticket from London to Munich departing at 11:55am. My confirmation email clearly stated 11:55am. My itinerary email also clearly stated 11:55am.
However, at 1am on the day of departure, when I tried to check in online, I discovered that my e-ticket showed 5:00pm instead. I was never notified of any change.
I immediately called customer service and was told British Airways had “overbooked” the flight and moved me. This explanation made no sense because the 11:55am flight was still available for sale on both BA’s website and Traveasy’s website.
After nearly an hour on the phone at 2am, I was given no solution. I had to wake up again at 6am to call British Airways directly. BA clearly confirmed:
• The flight was not cancelled
• There was no overbooking issue
• They received a booking from Traveasy for the 5pm flight — not 11:55am
• No booking was ever made for me on the earlier flight
This proves the incorrect booking originated from Traveasy.
When I spoke to a manager, he continued blaming the airline and even tried to charge me a £40 “administration fee” to correct the mistake. I was asked to pay to fix an error that was not mine.
Only after significant pressure did they change the ticket back to 11:55am — and they still refused to admit any fault.
This entire situation happened just hours before my holiday, causing unnecessary stress, sleep deprivation, and anxiety before an international trip. Instead of taking responsibility, they repeatedly shifted blame and provided misleading information.
I strongly advise others to think carefully before booking with this company. If I had not checked my ticket in the middle of the night, I would have arrived at the airport for the wrong flight.
Completely unacceptable experience. I will not be booking with them again.

After having paid for my air tickets and waited for hours, I couldn't get my confirmation. John called me and he has spent more than half an hour to deal with my case with patience and coordination with his colleagues. Although I ended up having to pay a bit more than my original price, I can see that he was professional and has been working hard to ensure I can get the best deal. Horrible website - sudden price increase that we refused to pay for, and when we cancelled they promised a quick refund. still haven’t been refunded for over a week now. I’m worried that they are a scam and might never refund me!!

I accidentally booked the wrong date for my flights, called them up 2 mins after booking and they wouldn’t allow me to change the date. The service agent sneered and sounded happy that I couldn’t rebook or get refund. Wouldn’t recommend these guys at all.
